Great store. if you are looking for something amazing from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and the 90s. Ask for Will, he is great!

I have shopped at Leopard Lounge for years. I went this weekend and loved it even more! Will was very helpful and friendly. He showed my sister and I around the store and was very nice to my curious 2 year old son. I got an awesome sweater at an amazing price and will be returning again soon!

I love it here! Not only is it revamped to be more affordable, Will, the salesman was EXTREMELY helpful. My 2-​year-​old nephew was getting antsy while my sister and I shopped and Will ingeniously gave him a little mini-​project to keep him occupied. It was adorable! Then, when I told Will what I was looking for, he showed me right to it and even made suggestions. I love everything vintage and I will certainly be back! Thanks Will!

I like vintage clothes. My boyfriend and me always visit stores where such clothes are sold. Accidently we found Leopard Lounge. We spent there much time, because this store has many interesting, unique and stylish clothes. The quality was not bad and the prices are reasonable. The workers are friendly, helped us to choose the clothes.
We left this store and were on cloud 9. Since that time it is one of our favorite stores, we come there very often and always get good experience.

If you fancy antique vintage looking clothing that you noticed was popular back in your day, I’d recommend you visit this little shop here.
They have some good clothing that’ll make you reminisce the good olé days when times were simple, easy-​going and when people weren’t addicted to their cellphones.
Yup, I’d tell you what I visited this place since my mum had to locate her some country western cowboy attire for my cousin’s wedding that I wasn’t attending.
She did find herself some nice not faded clothing.
I loved how they had everything so organized from each era.
However, the cowboy boots collection needs to either be recycled or go ahead to the trash house because the boots looked raggedy, torn up, overused and abused.

The denim selection looked stylish, but this isn’t by far the cheapest thrift shop you can visit.
The price tag definitely shows the dollar amount in full.
Also, the bag section isn’t the best, but it all depends on the person really. I was hoping to find another wool bag that I already have, but I got that one from an Estate Sale near my house.
The owner of the place reminds me of that guy from Halloween Town because of the way he dressed. Brightly colored shirt and pants, hair from a different year and how friendly he was when he assisted my mum and I.
Whenever I start big banking, I’ll come back here to add to my wardrobe.

Good place for vintage, unique outfits and accessories. Eric was awesome, he was very attentive and help us choosing the shades and glasses that my friend and i was trying to get. Thumbs up for this place.

I am mad at myself for forgetting the cute guy’s name that worked owned the place who also has a tattoo shop.
He was very chill and cool. My friend and I went into the place to get sunglasses and vintage shirts.
I ended up only purchasing just sunglasses because they were cool and old school sexy plus a good deal I didn’t want to pass up.
They had a good amount a vintage/​western/​costume-​like apparel that a particular crowd is interested in. I did see some really cute cowboy boots in there that were of really nice quality.
I can say that I liked the service that he gave and recommendations for our face shape for glasses.
I’ll definitely return back to find any new items and deals he may offer

Leopard Lounge is a great vintage/​thrift store with quality merchandise in the Montrose area. This place is a gem if you’re looking for vintage western & cowboy shirts. While the neighborhood dynamic of Montrose continues to change, I hope this place doesn’t.

With the frequency of which vintage clothing stores come and go around Houston it is great to know that I can always count on Leopard Lounge. I have been coming here for years because they always have just what I am looking for so I head here first. The faces my change at the store from visit to visit but they all had friendly faces and great attitudes. My most recent purchases were a couple of 70’s polyester shirts for my brother for a Christmas gift and even found myself a amazing leather handbag. Nailed it!

Clothes were great if your into vintage (shoes, not so much). The prices were awesomely cheap too unlike some stores that will charge ridiculous amounts of money for a faded 90’s t-​shirt, but the customer service was not the business. There was a lone, long straight haired, hipster-​Jesus looking guy working there when I went. He couldn’t be bothered to offer any type of customer service or even fake like he wasn’t ready to clock out. When he rung me out for my shirt I bought, dude just told me the price in some dry, tired out voice and nothing else. I sparked up a conversion with the guy after he rung me out and learned he was in a band, was tired, etc, etc. He seemed like an interesting person. But it should be his job instead of mine to be warm and friendly no matter how tired he was. He couldn’t even be bothered to say «Thank you» or «bye» after the conversation while I was headed out the door. Clothes are pretty rad here (which is why I give it 4 stars) but keep your expectations low as far as customer service goes here.

now this is a real vintage store !!! probably the only one left in houston!!! you have to check this place out, wow !!! lots of one of a kind pieces. i’m glad i was referred to this place !!

Wait what, I need a western shirt for the Rodeo? wait now I need a 50’s style dress for a murder mystery party? 80’s dress for Prom Rewind? This place is gold. I know some of the stuff is pricey but I have always gotten great stuff for a reasonable price. Its well organized for the amount of stuff they have and the staff are helpful depending on the day you go… LL is go to for all «period piece’ clothing.

I can’t accurately star this shop, since I’ve been visiting it for nearly a decade and know some pretty awful stories of the I’m guessing previous owner. That being said, this is for the current Leopard Lounge, in all it’s vintage and western glory.
The shop has moved a few storefronts down, attached to the front of Taxi Taxi. It’s got all sorts of vintage dresses for all ocassions, loads of great blouses, a small selection of pants, and (in the winter at least) tons of old broken in leather jackets. The walls above all the hanging clothes are lined with cool old boots, although the normal shoe selection isn’t so great. There’s even a whole rack of (nearly all leather) vests for ladies. What?!
There’s a small rack of DIY deconstructed/​cut up/​whatevered t-​shirts for ladies — Jeez, thanks for taking the fun out of it! And they’ve got cases with belt buckles, jewelry, and other cool accessories and hats you wouldn’t find anywhere else. There are loads of scarves and bandanas, and tons of really cool pearl snaps, although the pricing on them can vary greatly, from $ 12 to nearly $ 80, I guess depending on the brand and condition.
There’s almost always punk rock playing over the speakers, which rules. Customer service, however, was kind of bad until my last visit there. I’ve always been completely, utterly ignored, and the employees just had conversations with each other. However, this time, I was greeted by BOTH employees, and was asked if I was doing alright halfway through my shopping. I heard others greeted, as well, so maybe they’ve just had a bad crop of workers in the past.
Some folks say this is not worth the visit, but really, there’s not anywhere else in the area that you can find this type of stuff in this concentration — and playing good music.

This was by far my favorite boutique that I visited on my quick trip to the Houston area. The shop girl was super friendly, I found the inventory to be well organized and clean, and lots of great sales. I found 3 treasure that will forever remind me of my Houston adventure.

Even if you don’t have any luck shopping here, I love trying on the vintage dresses here for fun! They are in very good condition and priced reasonably well. I do adore that look.
The store girl is a huge help and will recommend items to you based on what you have picked out for yourself. The only item I have gotten here is an adorable cream blouse with understated ruffles, which was on clearance for 4 dollars.

A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll is the best way to describe this place. There are some decent vintage picks, but the selection is very crowded and sort of overwhelming. The store also seems to cater more toward men than women, so I didn’t see much I liked for myself.

I travel to Houston at least twice a year for business and the Leopard Lounge has become one of my must-​stop locations when I am in town. While there are a host of vintage clothing resellers on Westheimer, this is one of the few places that actually caters to men as well as women. And if old-​school western wear with funky plaids, silver-​stitching, and pearl snaps is your thing, then this is THE place to go in Houston. They’ve also got a healthy supply of fringy, polyester country-​western stage costume shirts that are totally bad-​ass, although not something I personally could pull off. Make sure you look up, as many of these are hanging up in the rafters and it’s easy to miss them.
In addition to the cowboy duds, they’ve got a decent mix of funky 70s and 80s style clothing, as well as some true vintage rock concert shirts of the super rare (and valuable) variety, most of which is not fully appreciated by a vast majority of the young hipsters that come in here to shop. Like all vintage places, there is some crap, but overall the quality and selection in this place is far superior to what I have found elsewhere. And the prices are fair, especially if you grab multiple shirts, which I seem to do on every visit.
And for the record, every time I have been in there over the course of the past year, the service has been beyond wonderful. On one occasion, the clerk was kind enough to go into the back room and grab a fresh pile of shirts that had not yet been tagged so I could sort through them. Two of my favorite vintage westerns of all times came from that dig, so I expect to remain a grateful and loyal customer of this store for as long as they keep doing what they do.

This place has a very large array of options for guys. I really liked all of the pearl snap shirts for men. I had a hard time choosing which ones to get my husband because there were so many. They also had pretty cool boots and ties.
Most of the girls clothes were more like costume-​y. The clothes for girls reminded me of stuff that extreme hipsters would try to make look cool but in reality still look stupid.
The guy behind the counter was very nice and attentive. Told us about the buy one get one half off sale and complemented my friend on her hair. You never get compliments in these places!
Better for guys than girls but still a funky little place.

If you’re one for old western shirts, boots, and a frocks, Leopard Lounge isn’t a bad place to start. I definitely dig the vintage dresses in the back. Just wish I could pull off that look.

I contemplated giving them two stars because it USED to be good, but honestly, this place isn’t even worth a stop on the circuit of lower Westheimer resale shops. A few years ago, when it was in its old freestanding space, I actually found a few cute pieces that entered my rotation. But now it’s just filled with awful grandma dresses and caftans rescued out of someone’s closet from the 70’s. If this place went up in flames, nothing would burn – it’d just melt, because it’s all polyester crap, except for the bizarre selection of vintage band t-​shirts that are puzzlingly priced between $ 70 – 90. How many dresses that have to be worn with an ironic sneer can fit into one store? This many, apparently.
As for the staff… wait, there are people who work here? I would’ve never known, because they’re usually standing around taking smoke breaks or talking with their friends.
Seriously. Don’t waste your time.
