Great place to get your eyebrows threaded. Lina is quick and the wait is never too long.

Great place for eyebrow threading. I’ve tried many others, but her quickness and efficiency keep me coming back. And, the price is very inexpensive. I hate to let out this great secret, but she’s such a nice lady, I want to see her succeed!

I love coming to Lina’s! I came here after a friend of mine suggested her. She comes here at least twice a month, and her eyebrows always look so well-​kept, so I decided to try it out about three years ago. I was afraid that it was going to hurt (I hate plucking!) or that it was going to be painstakingly slow like the way the threaders in the malls do it.
Business is usually slow at the salon, though I have occasionally had to wait after two or three women who were having their hair or eyebrows done. The wait was never very long though so there’s never a need for an appointment for simple eyebrow threading. You can ask Lina how you’d like your eyebrows shaped if you have a particular style in mind, but for my first time, I just told her I wanted an eyebrow threading. She spends a moment to study your face and your eyebrow shape and gets to work. Even for my first time, she spent only about half a minute on each eye. She’ll give you a tissue to wipe off the small strands of hair left on your face and offer you lotion if you need it, but that’s it! I’m usually out the door five minutes after I’ve walked in.
If you become a regular, Lina will begin to recognize you. She is always asking about school when I come in and seems to remember whatever I’ve told her about myself before. Very friendly and very warm. Price of a threading is $ 7, which, from what I’ve seen around town, is pretty cheap!
I take off a star from my review only because the first time I went there, Lina took off a bit too much out of my left eyebrow. It took me a while to grow it out to let her reshape it again, but now if I leave my eyebrow too unkempt, the misshapenness becomes pretty obvious. But she was definitely able to fix the mistake the second time I went. I have now learned to really look closely at my finished brows before hopping off the chair; she’ll fix whatever area you think looks funny. I’m too busy to make it out very often, so I haven’t seen her in over six months, but I would recommend revisiting her every month or so. I’ll definitely be coming by soon!

I’ve gone to salons in Clear Lake and also gone to Aisha’s and a couple of other places in Hillcroft, but most of them are inconsistent and they don’t even do a great job. I randomly walked into Lina’s Beauty Salon a few years ago and have been going there ever since. Every time I get my eyebrows done, I get loads of compliments. She is also just a lovely person who always does a great, consistent job. Sometimes she is crowded, so make an apt before you go there. And bring cash or a check.

Lina is really sweet and does a great job. She is fast but precise. My eyebrows have never looked better. Also– its really affordable.
Just make sure you bring cash because she doesn’t take credit cards!

Houston’s best kept threading secret. Lina is awesome and gives me a great eyebrow thread in about 3 minutes flat, and for only $ 7. She’s the best threader I’ve found in the Houston area — I’ve been to other places along Harwin when Lina’s was closed, and they took a lot longer and did not do nearly as good a job as Lina.
Appointments are not necessary, just walk right on in. Once or twice I’ve gotten an eyebrow threading that was thinner than I’d like, so I just be sure to mention that I like them a little thicker.
It’s really easy to get to if you’ve spent the afternoon shopping in Harwin. Be sure to call ahead to make sure she’s open before you make the trek out there — in the summertime she often takes month-​long trips to India.
