Much better than texas roadhouse. Fantastic happy hour. The bartenders were terrific, the steaks were better than expected and we will be back

I took my family out to dinner to celebrate my wife’s Birthday on 08÷26÷15 and our penchant for steak. Typically we go to SaltGrass but decided to give LongHorn a try and it was indeed the best selection made. The food was fantastic with perfectly seasoned and cooked steak. We had the corn fritters as an appetizer, honey wheat bread, salad and the baked sweet potato with cinnamon sugar and butter was divine. Kudos to our server, Katelyn C who was always prompt and attentive without being disruptive. She even arranged a complimentary molten chocolate dessert cake with ice-cream which all 4 of us shared. My 4 year old daughter and 1 year old son were ecstatic and also ate most of their food. The Manager, Derrick Smithson also came by to check on us and certainly has this place well-run and coordinated. We felt comfortable and safe as 4 cops coincidentally came in to dine as well! I will definitely recommend eating at this fine establishment and plan on returning soon. Food was also reasonably priced and did not have to wait long. I think I now have a new favorite steakhouse!

I was very happy that corporate reached out to me and attempted to make things right. I went back and the service was great I took my employees and had a real good experience my server was always cheking up on us and the steaks where not burned even though I didn’t actually get a pink center I was satisfied will come back. Thank you

Nice atmosphere, subpar food. Good decorations and the allure of «better» dining but if you have the chance to eat here… Pass on it

Ordered Fried Green Tomatoes for appetizer(good but small), Citrus Grilled Salmon(delicious!), Beefsteak Tomato Bacon Salad(yum!), and lunch combo of mixed green salad & Chicken Tortilla soup(pretty good & spicy). I drank The Perfect Margarita which was really good and served with a shaker, so it makes at least 2 – 3 small drinks. ;)

Wow! I should actually leave it at that and end my review but I feel like I have to speak up for this Longhorn Steakhouse due to all the negative reviews. I’ll keep this short.(1) My med/rare Outlaw ribeye was so Muthafu***n delicious, perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy.(2) Our waiter was SO on top of his game checking on us continually.(3) This Longhorn Steakhouse is clean, the lighting is very nice and the décor is awesome. I’m looking forward to eating here quite a bit when I’m craving a true fire grilled steak, thank you Longhorn Steakhouse!

This restaurant is nice & clean in the inside. The manager on duty(Ramon) was one of the best managers I’ve seen in very long time. He was very friendly, he went to every table and greeted everyone to make sure everyone was satisfied with the food & service. The waitress(Precious) was a rock star!!! She provided excellent customer service. The food was good. I will definitely return.

The good: steak was cooked near perfect and the mac and cheese was great. I also enjoyed my blackberry tea. The bad: the steak had a strange taste to it. Not a great experience, but not bad. Little over priced for the quality of food.

The food was ok but the service was horrible. Our waitress Marybeth, was extremely dry. Her attitude was unpleasant and nonchalant. She wasn’t too welcoming. When we first arrived, she told us, «Good morning, good night, whatever. I’ve been here all day.» & At one point she even told me, «Look at me.» We had to ask her for things like plates & refills. Smh. Customer service needs adjusting.

I have had ribeye, spinach dip and salad there. All very good. Steak is tasty, one of the most real chargrilled steaks with good flavor around. The dessert, Chocolate Stampeded is to die for. Suggest going there just for dessert to fully enjoy. Served with two scoops of ice cream and two pieces of cake… have to mke a yummm sound with every bite!!!

I like this location a lot, the service is great and the food is quite good! I love the salmon and the Flo’s Steak. I have tasted the desserts and I must warn you: size might even suffice for sharing since it is quite big for one person!

This place is always a hit and miss. Seems on the slow days I can get a good steak and great service. But when it gets busy everything goes wrong. Been here many times due to the location is best for me and had some really good service. But it’s becoming almost 50⁄50 chance it will go really good or bad.

Food is overall good. there is always a long wait to be seated and get food even when it is not a packed house. of all the times I have come, the complimentary bread is never served.

I went today after church. I will make an honest review. My meal and my wife’s meal were both $ 18.99. They included a steak, loaded baked potato, and salad. The kids meals were between $ 4-$ 6 each. The steak tasted fine, but it had too much pepper on it. Also, I had 3 or 4 bites that ended up in the napkin because they had too much fat in them to chew. If I had gone to Kroger and purchased this steak and grilled it in the backyard, it would have been fine, but not for a restaurant. Does that make sense? The food was just OK, not bad, but definitely not great. I am sorry to say that I will not be returning.

One of my fav restaurants I keep coming back so far everything has been great! Every time we go service is great, clean restaurant, I like the décor nicer then most places. We usually start off with the Texas tonion or Wild West shrimp as apps they’re both really good. I like the porterhouse or outlaw ribeye cooked to order I like mine medium.

Man this place actually has some good steak. I was very skeptical about coming here at first because this place falls under the same category as one of those Chilli’s, Olive Garden, Apple Bee’s type franchise, but after trying it I look at this place differently. Before I talk about the food, I wanted to point out the exceptional service my group had. Our waitress was very tentative, made sure our water was full at all times, got all ten of our orders right, was polite, and friendly. Even though our waitress was already guaranteed a tip because we had so many people, she still did a good job. As for the food, it was delicious. I ordered the«Outlaw Ribeye» steak in medium rare and it came out perfect. It wasn’t over seasoned and the meat was very tender and juicy. Why go to a fancy restaurant and pay twice as much for the same taste? The only downside of my meal was the salad. It came drenched in honey mustard. It had probably 4 table spoons of honey mustard in my small salad. Other than that, the steak and service(waitress…) was awesome. –UPDATE– 08/02/2014 For some reason, the title says«CLOSED». ITISNOTCLOSEDANDSTILLOPEN!!! I called the other day and I see cars in the parking lot all the time.

I had yet to try a Longhorn Steakhouse but have noticed them popping up all over the outskirts of town. Recently on a Friday night, we decided to stop in for dinner. This location is pretty new and the décor is similar to what you’d find in a ski lodge. We were seated in a quiet area which was soon infiltrated by a family of 10+, so the quiet didn’t last for long. The drink menu was pretty basic, but they did have a few seasonal drinks that looked tasty. I settled on one that was a knock off of a Moscow Mule and was satisfied. For the meal we both ordered a filet, but this steak was nothing to call home about. They did a good job at cooking to order(mine medium and his rare) but the did not get a good sear on the meat at all. The sear is what makes me happy and for this steak I ended up needing A1 to make it more palatable. Outside of the steak, they do have a tasty macaroni and cheese but I was unpleased with the baked potato as it was only warm and could have stayed in the oven a wee bit longer. The dessert was the saving grace, as they had an apple pie concoction with Maker’s Mark caramel sauce that was delicious! Verdict: Might go back, but will avoid the steak.

We both ordered steak cooked medium rare. This restaurant leans towards a true medium rare(the center is red and warm). The person I was with requested that it be put back on the grill just long enough to turn it pink. Service was already very good and they kicked it up a notch after this request. The chef had done nothing wrong but they went the extra mile to ensure that everything was to our satisfaction. Food and pricing is good. Service is outstanding!

It’s Longhorn. It’s a chain. It’s about what I expected. I come here for my husband, so he can get a steak. I however, have a derth of choices since I prefer my lunches on the lighter side — soup, salad, etc. The salads are your typical chain salad — lots of iceberg, a little romaine, mealy tomatoes(TBF, it is that time of year), tons of croutons, lots of generic cheddar cheese, and a sad onion slice on top. If you want, they might throw a little chicken, steak, or shrimp on top or change up the cheese, but it’s still the same limp salad. I’ll eat it for lack of better(and reasonably-priced) options. I’ve opted for the French Onion soup — the broth is ok, nothing amazing, but passable. They do the requiste melted cheese on top, but the soaked bread-to-broth-to-onion ratio is not good. It’s like bread soup in there, and you’ve got to search for the onions. The service was fine. Our waitress seemed inexperienced and had a good attitude, so I let some minor issues slide.

Tried this new place out tonight. There was a 30 minute wait even though there were a lot of open tables. After 20 minutes we were seated and I will say we had good service. My wife and I both ordered different kinds of margaritas which they have a plethora of. Both were very tart and very sweet. My wife liked hers but sweet and tart are not for me in overload which this was. We had an appetizer which was the firecracker chicken. This was the best part of the meal. I had the filet and shrimp. The filet was decent for a lower end steakhouse. It had a good flavor and the cut was fair quality. The shrimp was very fishy and I only ate one of the 10 that come with it. Their signature side is the macaroni and cheese which I got as my side. It is essentially a fancy macaroni in Alfredo sauce. Again not my cup but some may like it. My wife got the sirloin and it was one of the worst cuts of meat. She did not care for her meal at all. They forgot my daughters dinner and once they realized the mistake the manager comped it and comped a free desert. So they did make up for the mistake. Most people will read this review and say how in the world is that three and not one star. Well this is a salt grass steak house that recently opened. They tried hard, the atmosphere was nice and the food had some merit at different points. So I will give it another shot in the future.
