In 2003 m ARCHITECTS moved into the historic Fifth Ward Hotel (c. 1882) in dowtown Houston’s Warehouse District.

Business Owner

Michael Morton, AIA is principal of m ARCHITECTS, an award winning architecture firm that focuses on projects where people heal, learn, work and gather. A graduate of the UH College of Architecture in 1994, Michael currently serves on the Architecture Center Houston Foundation Board as President. Michael previously served on both the AIA Houston and Texas Society of Architects board of directors, and as chair for the 2009 TSA Convention. Michael was the recipient of AIA Houston’s young architect award in 2006, and TSA’s award for young professional achievement in 2007.
