We needed a photographer on short notice for an event in Houston and we hit the jackpot with Matthew. He was quick to respond and always on top of communication leading up to the event.
We were blown away not only by the quality of the photos that he delivered but he nail all of the important moments, which was a HUGE bonus.

My fiancé and I hired Matt to do our engagement photos (and wedding) and we couldn’t be happier! He was very easy to work with and super friendly. While engagement pictures can be awkward, Matt put us at ease and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire process.
Matt was very quick to return digital photos to us via email so we were able to send out our save the dates promptly and «according to schedule.»
He edited and cropped the photos well — we love them. I am excited for him to shoot our wedding and see what moments he will capture.

Matt did our wedding in Phoenix and he did it well! First of all we couldn’t beat the value he offered! Beyond that he was very timely, professional and fun to be around. He made all of the photos available to us digitally very quickly. He even chipped in on the last minute preparations and drew a welcome sign onto a chalkboard that we put at the entrance just in time for the guests to arrive!

Matthew Rood did our engagement photos and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. My now husband and I do not have much experience with being photographed for something like engagement photos, and Matthew made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! He spent as much time with us as we needed, making sure to get the right shots and that we had tons of options to choose from. We had such a great time with Matthew as our photographer and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful! After spending the afternoon taking our photos, the turnaround to getting our edited photos was super speedy, and everything looked beautiful! Can’t recommend Matthew Rood Photography enough :)
