Amazing experience overall! The salon was spacious and divided to where separate appointments weren’t crowding each other at all. It had mirrors by the front windows that allowed you to see the dresses in natural light, which was a plus. For the appointment, Rachel was a dream to work with! My family and I were given time in the beginning to look at their entire selection and pull several dresses to try on. Rachel made recommendations along the way and pulled some on her own based on what I told her I was looking for. While we were trying on dresses, she had all of the ones we pulled lined up on a rack outside of the fitting room and she let me pick the dress I wanted to try on next each time. She was very encouraging and uplifting, which made for a very positive, enjoyable and low-​pressure experience. We went back a second time to try on the dress that I ultimately wound up picking, and she was extremely accommodating and let us know right away when she had an opening and how much time she had to work with us. Looking forward to going back and seeing her again when my dress comes in! :)

Absolutely best experience hands down! Everyone there was warm and welcoming. Felt at ease and never felt pressured. I would highly recommend Mia bridal to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding gown with exceptional service!

Mia was the 2^nd shop out of the three that I visited and my experience here far exceeded that of the other 2 bridal stores I went to. Half of the reason I went with the dress that I did was due to the calming and enjoyable atmosphere that I experienced at Mia. At one of the other stores I felt the consultant wasn’t as helpful/​knowledgeable and the other store the consultants were just WAY too pushy.
Rachel was my consultant and I loved her! I had some dresses in mind that I wanted to try on going into my appointment, but I ended up getting a dress by a designer I had never heard of that Rachel had shown me. I really liked that she let me form my own opinion about the dress before saying anything and that she would ask me what I liked and didn’t like about the dress. She was super helpful without being loud and pushy. My mom, my sister and I had so much fun during my appointment with them and I can’t wait to come back for my first fitting!
Tip: I am so glad that I booked by appointment early in the morning (9:30am). The store wasn’t very busy and there was plenty of available mirrors and space for me to walk around in the dresses I was trying on. When I came back in at 2:30 to officially say yes to the dress, the store was packed with people who had brought large parties with them and was very loud & crowded. I would recommend booking your bridal appointments earlier in the day if you can help it!

Although I didn’t find my dress here, I wanted to take a moment to applaud my wonderful consultant, Rachel. She was phenomenal — very friendly and personable — my whole appointment felt like I was hanging out with a friend, professional, and really listened to what I was looking for in a dress.
I really wanted to find my dress here because I liked Rachel so much, but a dress elsewhere caught my eye.
I want to mention that Mia Bridal has some awesome high quality dresses that are surprisingly reasonably priced, so if you’re a bride searching for high-​end looking dresses but don’t want to wipe out your bank account, this is a great boutique!

Picked up my dress with a big hole in the lace. They told me since I had taken it out of the store they wouldn’t fix it and I was stuck with the dress. Poor service if you ask me.

My experience was amazing. I told my consultant what I was looking for and she pulled the dress I chose! It was the very first one I tried on. I tried on others after that myself and my friends chose but I went back to the first and couldn’t be happier. They weren’t pushy at all. I had 2 other appointments that day that I ended canceling and didn’t have any regrets.

We went here for my friend to try on wedding dresses and it was fantastic. They’re a bit pricier, but the consultant was extremely helpful and worked with our price point. My friend needs alterations to make her dress more conservative and they had so many suggestions for ways to alter gowns but still make her look beautiful. They were also able to help us find something on shorter notice. There are only 4 months until my friend’s wedding and they helped to find dresses that could be ordered in plenty of time to get it in and altered.
I also love that they have a variety of accessories, veils, and even bouquets laying around to complete the picture. And champagne was a great addition to a fun afternoon of shopping.

This bridal shop is fantastic! I got my wedding dress here last week! The selection of dresses didn’t wow me when I first walked in but the girl I worked with knew what she was doing. She saw me eyeing a specific gown multiple times and made me try it on even though I didn’t think I would like the skirt. I am in LOvE with the dress and getting married in it!

I love Mia! My consultant, Lauren, was fantastic. It was my first appointment so I was all over the place and confused. She made the whole experience easy and so enjoyable. I didn’t get frusterated at all. The best!

I had looked a few places to find the perfect dress and did not have any luck. I came to Mia and worked with Lauren and she is the absolute BEST. She really cares about what you are looking for, gets creative, and puts you in dresses that compliment your shape and style so well. She was so knowledgeable about what each designer is willing/​able to change about each dress. I found the perfect Judd Waddell dress and we worked with the designer to make changes so that it was the dress that I had visioned for my big day! It’s crazy awesome that they can work as a team with the designer to help girls create the dresses of their dreams. Mia is truly the best place to go for your wedding dress. My experience there was the best out of all of the salons in Houston that I went to, the girls are all so happy and welcoming. I went to Joan Pillow & Casa de Novia before going to Mia and my experience at Mia surpassed all the others by FAR. Go to Mia and see Lauren to find your dress, cannot say it enough that she is the BEST!

A SEVERE WORD OF CAUTION for any bride considering Mia Bridal Couture. We are disgusted/​appalled with their lack of knowledge, judgment and professionalism. I purchased a signature designer wedding dress from a trunk show and the owner measured me herself. I did not have a corset/​bra and asked about needing one. She replied, «You do not need a bra with this dress because it has boning already». The day of our wedding I wore the dress for 30 minutes when it began to sag and 45 minutes later it would not hold up. I spent our ENTIRE cocktail hour in a hotel room trying to hold the dress up. The only temporary solution was to wear a jacket on backwards! Before we cut the cake I had to change into a dress from Target that one of my bridesmaids brought. Mia Bridal did not know how to respond when I later called. I asked the owner «What have you done in this case before?» she replied, «I have no idea what to do, this never happened to me before». We showed Mia Bridal our wedding photos and asked for financial compensation. We subsequently received a formal letter through email stating «All Sales Final». The owner would not speak to us again, so we tried contacting the co-​owner (who primarily works at Brickhouse Bridal). The co-​owner never directly deals with brides! We hired an attorney who sent Mia Bridal a settlement letter. Mia Bridal responded with a similar answer. We stopped legal proceedings due to financial strain and ultimately received NO refund. Mia Bridal was more concerned with monetary profits than compensating a nightmare-​wedding dress scenario due to the owner’s lack of knowledge, judgment and professionalism.

The assistant helped me figure out the difference between mermaid and trumpet. For all of you who can’t figure out the difference in pictures, mermaid is fitted all the way to your knees and goes out while trumpet flares out around your mid thigh. Mermaid is supposedly hard to walk in. No thanks to mermaid!
Although I didn’t find my dress here, the assistant was friendly. My mom, sister, and niece (4 years old) came and the staff was nice to them all. They didn’t mind at all that my niece came and I was very happy about that. She was well behaved and absolutely loved ALL the dresses. ha ha. It was adorable.
I also found out which dress and style I was looking for. She explained to me what I liked and I didn’t even realized it! That is very, very helpful. I am horrible with knowing what is what on dresses, and the assistant did not mind explaining it to me. Definitely a PLUS!

We had a great experience at Mia Bridal Couture today. I came in conflicted because I was in love with a dress at another salon, but my family was not feeling it. My consultant was so sweet and helpful in helping me first show my family what they had in mind and then steering the appointment back to what I had in mind. They also brought out champagne while we shopped, which is a nice touch! They had a large selection of gowns, but I think personally at that point I was having trouble focusing on what I wanted. I didn’t end up finding «the one» here, but I definitely recommend trying out Mia if you are looking for a bridal gown in Houston. Also, for some reason many of the gowns here were in a more reasonable price range than at some of the other salons I visited. I gave a budget of $ 4000, but many of the dresses I was trying on were in the $ 2500-​$ 3000 range. That being said, my budget was «pushed» at other salons and I ended up being happier with the material/​construction of the more expensive dresses. Still, if you have a budget in the $ 3000 range it seemed from what I saw like they have a great selection.
