Mr K’s Watch Repair

I found this place through Unilocal.It was the closest one where I was at the moment and I saw it has five stars. I arrived and I suppose it was Mr. K who took my watch to see if it needed a battery or futher repair. He came back quite quickly with my watch and a new battery, all for the price of $ 5. That rocks! I’m going back to Mr. K. Take heed, the place is a bit tricky to find on the first floor of a small shopping strip.

If you need your watch repaired, don’t think twice about going anywhere else except Mr. K’s! He is SO sweet and replaced the bands on my husband’s favorite watch in a minute and didn’t charge me because it took him no time! He has won my business! I will forever come to Mr. K’s for any watch issues.
Just FYI, his store is tucked away in the corner on the first floor closest to the barber shop in the complex.

Went here for a simple leather strap adjustment and Mr. K quickly, and very kindly, helped me. Such a great human being and I will definitely return here for all my future watch needs.

Mr. K is just awesome! 5 $ for a battery replacement. While you wait. He’s also a very good-​hearted man in my observation. Go here, you won’t be disappointed.

Mr K’s is about doing business with integrity. Always friendly with great service. Highly recommended for watch repairs. If he says the repair costs a certain amount, he sticks to it despite the complexities.

Insane pricing and service. Let’s just say I saved $ 36 by coming here for a battery replacement and link removal over a kiosk at the Galleria. Yes, there was a line because I came 10 mins prior to closing on a Saturday but well worth it for the savings and the chance to chat with Mr. K.
He could double his prices and it would still be very reasonable! I’m so happy I took the time to look up reviews on Unilocal.
Go to Mr. K for anything watch related. You will not be disappointed.

I took my Michelle watch in for a new battery and he took care of it in 10 minutes. The best part was it was $ 5! The last time I had this battery replaced it was $ 30.

I’ve been there today and what to say. Like i found THE watch store in Houston. Very very nice owner, price more than reasonable and fast service. Definitely the number one spot for watch repairs.

I went there to change my wristwatch battery. The gentleman was really nice. We chatted for 15 min. He has cool stories to tell. Super fast with affordable prices.

OUTSTANDING service. The reviews speak for themselves. He did not want to charge me for adjusting the strap on my watch — I had to negotiate my price UP and pay him $ 5! He solidly has my business.

Mr. K has helped me with issues with several of my watches – everything from replacing batteries and adjusting bands to things much, much more serious. His prices are very reasonable, especially considering his attention to detail and experience.
But the real reason I recommend him to everyone is his customer service. Mr. K offers a level of customer service that is all but dead today. He goes out of his way to be fair and accommodating. One instance, I brought him a recently purchased watch (the manufacturer of which shall remain nameless) that had stopped working. Not knowing how long it had been at the store, I assumed it was the battery. I took it to Mr. K to replace the battery, but after doing so we noticed that it still wasn’t working. There was apparently a more severe issue – he offered to look at it, and I wouldn’t have hesitated to let him except that it was still under warranty.
What happened next admittedly caught me off guard. Even after I told him I would take it back to the manufacturer since it was under warranty, he insisted on not charging me for the battery. I really appreciated that unexpected gesture. It’s things like that that make Mr. K such a great person to do business with.

Reasonable prices and best of all FRIENDLY! I popped in, had a few laughs with Jeff as he changed my watch battery, then left a happy new customer. Easy parking.

Walked in this morning with a watch whose hand had fallen off, and told Mr. K I had to leave in 6 minutes if I was to make it to class in time.
Amazingly, he reappeared with my fixed watch in less than 4. The Jewelry shop I went to last week told me it would take 2 weeks to get the job done.
Lovely shop, lovely owner, and a lovely experience.

Tiny hole-​in-​the-​wall. Came here on a Friday afternoon to get the ol’ battery replaced. Mr. K, a kindly elder man, looked down at the now-​faceless digital watch and just said, «I guess it needs a new battery.» He wandered into a backroom while I sat down in a chair. I had a brief moment to glance around at the shop which look like the absent-​minded clock professor lived there. Literally three minutes later — I only had time to check email and Facebook and no smartphone games – he wandered back out.
1. The battery had been replaced.
2. He wiped off a fingerprint that a previous battery-​repairman had left on the inside of the watchface. (Mind you, this other «repairman» worked for an overpriced jewelry shop.)
3. The time and date was set for me.
4. $ 5 cash.

. He is really sweet, professional, and has a great sense of humor. He guessed that his dog would have missed him in that three minutes more than me. Love this guy. Would definitely go here again and again and again.

Can’t beat the price and service at Mr. Ks! He has tricky hours tho but worth working around his schedule.

I’ve yet to be let down by my Unilocal cohorts, and this time was no exception! Mr. K’s Watch Repair has 5 stars for a reason!
The crystal on my boyfriend’s watch had been shattered a long time, and it was just sitting in the console of his car, waiting on a miracle.
Insert me into the picture. «Wait, let me find a place on Unilocal!»
And so I did. All these great reviews and I was sold. So I started on the mission to find the shop. It was a little hard to find, with all the trees and small print, but totally worth it.
I was greeted in a very warm and friendly manner, and was assured that the watch would be good as new.
Well, he didn’t disappoint! I called in about a week and a half after drop-​off to check status. «Is this Monica? Your watch is ready!»
