This is the perfect place to relax and have a day to yourself. It is very quiet and peaceful. The service is absolutely incredible; I was blown away by the facial I had and the kindness of the workers. This is by far the best spa I have gone to. I look forward to go back.

Silva is amazing! So knowledgable and a very loving person. Highly recommend coming to her for anything, waxing/​facials/​makeup etc. If you are looking for a nice clean relaxing spa with amazing service to go to, this is the place for you.

After jumping around a few places, I finally settled on her spa because of the service I receied there and the genuine care she has for her clients. The waxing deal on Tuesdays is particularly great, but her prices are very reasonable even without it! Ability to book and manage your appointment online is also much appreciated.

Best place in Houston for a wax! Silva is the sweetest woman, and really makes her clients feel comfortable. She worked at the Beautique for 11 years before opening her own salon, so she knows what she is doing! Be sure to book in advance because the appointment slots fill up. The online booking is also such a breeze and you are sent appointment reminders via email/​text the day before. Quick and affordable! Look no further!

The best, most personalized spa experience in Houston. Silva has an extensive amount of knowledge and is the sweetest lady you’ll ever meet. She has the most amazing way of making you feel comfortable. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for my waxes, massages and facials!

Silva is the best! She loves her job and your skin benefits. She is thorough with all her facials and uses great products. The nail services offered at the salon are also AMAZING! I highly recommend!

The ladies here are really sweet, but they aren’t very good at massages — so I’m confused with the good reviews :/
First off, the shop is hard to find since it’s located in an office building. You can call them and they’ll give you better directions though!
When we arrived, the masseuse greeted us and led us into a room. I was able to get my single room, and my two friends shared a room. They ask you to undress, and will come back shortly thereafter. My masseuse rubbed on great smelling lotion, and played soothing music but just did not rub/​massage hard enough and did not hit the right places. I won’t come back, but I do give them plus points for being very pleasant. Not for me, since I’ve had much better. But good thing I didn’t pay hehe

I love Silva’s day spa! It’s small and private and Silva is the sweetest lady! It’s not some high end over the top spa, but Silva is so knowledgeable about her trade that you are definitely receiving quality work. I’ve used her several times for Brazilian waxing and she is quick. She offers waxing specials on Tuesday and facial specials on Wednesdays.
Ive gone for massage and was pleased. I just booked a facial for this week and I’m positive she will not be disappoint!
I would recommend this place to anyone.

Her salon offers her customers the personalized touch! Not only is she friendly and sweet she is dedicated to making sure her customers leave feeling renewed and beautiful! If you have been contemplating a Brazilian wax or a bikini wax Maria Silva is the person you need to see. She makes it so comfortable and quick! I have also had the hot stone massage and facial. My husband and I are staying in the Rice Village area for his cancer treatment at MD Anderson. I decided to treat myself to a massage and facial. So many to choose from and I eventually landed on Silva’s. What a wonderful relaxing experience! From the first phone call to make the appointment to when I left the salon. Maria Silva made me feel so welcome and taken care of. Great massage and wonderful facial. I highly recommend!!! She is a wonderful person and a gentle soul that adapts her service to the needs of the individual.

I made my first (but certainly not last) visit to Sliva’s this morning for a hot stone massage and facial. Silva has a small spa in an office building on Kirby — not the most exotic location, but she makes up for it with her warm personality, knowledge of her trade, and her technical skills.
She started with the hot stone massage — it was completely soothing and she did a small amount of deep tissue work on my shoulders and upper back (she asked permission before starting that) — when she was finished, I didn’t have a single sore or ache anywhere in my body, which is very rare for me. (I have a long history of a back condition and major surgery.)
For the facial, she blended custom mixes of all of the cleaners, toners, and masks that she used to perfectly match my skin type and challenges. My face transitioned from red, flaky, itchy and irritated to perfectly clear, calm, and moisturized by the end of the treatment. I will be back monthly as she recommended!
She did not push ANY product on me — she did send me home with samples and told me to try them for a week before I even considered purchasing. She also spent at least 20 minutes more on my treatments than what I had originally signed up for — she was never in a rush or unfocused on what she was doing.
My only negative comment on her business is a very loud/​obnoxious neighbor in the building that you can hear occasionally, but she has no control over that and apologized to me for his noise.
I can’t recommend her enough — best facial and one of the best massages I have ever had. Give her a try and support a great local business!

Silva! Anyone who gets waxes knows that they can be pricey. Upon moving to Houston I found that the price at the Pretty Kitty is $ 10 more then it was in NV. Ruuuuude. Anyways, stumbled upon Silva’s day spa after browsing Unilocal and bam!
The good: Silva is adorable! Little older soft spoken Hispanic lady with a precious accent. Honestly the most painless Brazilian I’ve ever had. She uses the soft wax and she has you lay in different positions then other waxers and seriously, didn’t hurt at all! She’s been doing this for a looooing time and you can tell. She’s really chatty and wants to know all about you. She also informed me I’m going to have a boy and a girl when the time is right. Wax + fortune telling? I’m into it. And for $ 45 can’t be beat. (Tuesdays it’s $ 35 but she gets super booked).
The bad: little hard to find. In the Allstate building. Worth the search for sure.
I’ll be going here from now on and you probably should too if you wanna save some $$ and actually enjoy the hair removal experience.

I’ve been to Silva’s with my big for facials & reflexology. Reflexology almost put me to sleep and the facial left my face feeling very smooth. My big and I were both very satisfied.
This week I went back there for a brazilian. Silva did the wax herself and she was done in less than 15 minutes. She was very gentle the whole time and it was as painless as a brazilian could be… She also asked how my big was doing (which was major brownie points because apparently she remembers her customers).
The spa is inside an office building on Kirby which may be kind of hard to find the first time around but the building has its own parking lot so it’s great. I already got another appointment for next month :)

I won a gift certificate to Silva’s day Spa from a drawing at a work function. Man! I really wish I hadn’t won, because now I have to go back!
I’ve had massages at so many different places, but it’s been years since a massage has put me to sleep. I don’t know if it was the hot stones or the actual massage itself, but I was sleeping peacefully in a matter of minutes. That is relaxation! Added bonus — it’s been over a week and I’m not whining about any back pain.
I wish I had more to say, but simply put, Silva’s Day Spa offers the best massage I’ve ever had.
