History
Established in 2005.
Even before receiving advanced education and nearly 10 years of professional experience in the field, Shulunda Gibson expressed a natural gift for communication and sensitive ear with respect to dialects and disorders in speech. That being said, her decision to navigate through the several avenues within the career path of speech pathology has been a rewarding journey and a personally rewarding experience — one in which she is always seeking to take to the next step. Gibson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Grambling State University. Her thirst for knowledge in the field led her to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Speech Pathology from The University of Memphis. The decision to create an organization that takes a more comprehensive approach in helping individuals put their best foot forward through verbal communication came from several years of experience in the home health care component.

Business Owner
In 2005, Shulunda leaped out on faith — with a parachute of education and application of the skills she learned — to launch her own home health agency. Gibson maintained a reputable client base of individuals suffering with speech, language, and voice and swallowing disorders as result of heart attack, stroke, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other neurogenic disorders. While simultaneously operating a successful home health operation, Gibson began to revisit her undergraduate interest of corporate speech pathology and vocal image consulting — a skill she honed by volunteering time and talent to work with broadcasting students and campus DJs.
Through complimentary speech and voice consultation to local recording artists, clergy, life coaches/public speakers, word of Gibson’s effectiveness in aiding with diction, vocal hygiene (how to take care of your voice to prevent vocal injury and hoarseness) she saw the impact of her life’s work as demand for her services grew through word of mouth.
