The Vitamin Shoppe

The staff here was very helpful in helping me find what I needed on my last two visits here. The store isn’t as dead looking as a gnc or as expensive. This location is just a bit tricky to get to though.

I went in with a list from my doctor and was helped by Stormi. She was super nice and funny.
She helped me find all of the items on my list quick and painlessly. The store was well organized and clean. They have a better selection than GNC, better quality and better sales.
I love this store because they aren’t pushy. They really know their products and don’t try to tell you that you are fat in an underhanded way like GNC does.
My one and only complaint is that it is a little tricky to get to if you are coming from i-​10 east.
This store is in my neighborhood and I will be back once my supply runs out.

Lost a customer over one dollar. I bought some flaxseed oil but when I got it home I realized that the plastic wrap and the lid had been tampered with. So I took it back, but they did not have the same exact kind. The nearest replacement was one dollar more. Most places would not worry about one dollar, but she insisted that I had to pay the dollar. I could not believe it, since I was the one who was inconvenienced. I asked for a refund instead. I will never go back there. Worst customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Most stores that sell high dollar items like that really focus on providing the best customer service.

I went in on a Sunday and the place was pretty slow. I found most of what I needed but when I couldn’t the staff was really great about helping me out. Turned out what I needed was right behind me.

Ok, I’m a fan of the Vitamin Shoppe, just because I like their multivitamins waay better than Centrum or other such strange-​tasting horse pills. Plus, the homeopathic section is always fun. But mostly I visit cause aside from Whole Foods, they’re the only people who carry Brain Toniq — they sell out fast, but this Vitamin Shoppe didn’t have it, and the manager said they don’t carry it. Sucks, cause it’s right where I work, they could have had a daily customer.
