Hot stone massage was awesome! She’s very caring and really tries to help alleviate as much pain as she can. She’s also great at giving nutritional advice, just ask! I’ve been to her twice already and have not been disappointed :)

Is there a 0 star? These people are unbelievable. The most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. To make a long story short, I had a 6:00pm appointment and waited until 7:20pm with Doris never showing up. «I’ll be there in 20 minutes» is what I was told at 6:05pm and again at 7:20pm. Her appointment setter, Monica, claimed she called me earlier in the day to let me know Doris would be late, but I never received any missed calls nor did I have any voicemails from her. After waiting an hour and 20 minutes, Doris ended our last telephone conversation by hanging up in my face. She is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. What «professional» hangs up in your face when you have clearly went above and beyond by patiently waiting on her for an hour and 20 minutes?

First time I’ve actually had a «Body Scrub.» It was invigorating. Massage was the best I’ve ever had. Doris has hands of magic & is very up-​beat & professional. Try it you’ll love it. Best 1– ½ hrs you’ll ever spend. Trust me.

I must admit I’m not a big girly-​girl to begin with. I don’t really enjoy massages because I’m so ticklish and can’t seem to relax… but Ms. Doris is the expert. She knew how to give enough pressure to the body so you don’t feel ticklish. She is a warm and delightful person and I must say she really did make my stress drift away. I literally fell asleep on the table… which never happens. I was that relaxed!!! I will definitely come back. People out there looking for a good masseuse… I think I have found a fantastic one. She knows the body, she’s been at this for decades. Not to mention her personality completes the package! I walked in a bank after my massage, facial, and nail service and the ladies at the bank said my skin glowed. No kidding.

Well out of all the choices for Day Spa’s in Houston I have to say this one is a keeper! Doris is very warm and knowledgeable about skin care and stress release. I found her through a daily deal on Crowd Savings and what a deal. Massage plus aromatherapy so nice and the atmosphere is very calming. Located inside Alex Burton Salon in the Galleria area very short drive for me from the Heights. I will be back. Thanks Doris!!!
