I had a jumpsuit made here a few months ago for a trip to Vegas. The outfit was cute, fit so well, and was clearly professionally made. The service was great and my outfit was ready on time. I received multiple compliments on it! I’ll definitely be back for any alteration or custom clothing needs!

I needed several items done quickly and she was incredibly accommodative. She has done work for both my wife and me and it has always been done well. We highly recommend.

Even though my wedding dress was custom made according to my measurements, I needed to take it in due to losing some weight. A friend strongly recommended I go with Ultra Design, after she used their services to design her wedding dress the previous year.
I made an appointment to come by two months before the wedding. I tried my dress on, Maryam pinned it down and explained to me what she would need to do to take it in. She gave me a quote on what it would cost to do the alterations, including steaming the gown. The price was very fair to me, considering the cost of the dress, so I made an appointment to return in one month for another fitting before she actually did any work. This was due to the fact that I was continuing to go down in size so I wanted to avoid her having to do more alterations than necessary.
I returned a month later, as planned, and she pinned it up again. This time she ended up quoting me a little (and I mean just a little) bit more because by this fitting there were more areas that needed to be taken in. I returned two weeks later for a fitting and it fit perfectly! She still needed to neaten up the seams and steam the dress so I wouldn’t be able to pick it up for another week, but that amount of time was more than reasonable to me.
I just picked up my dress and it is absolutely flawless! The seams are very neat and tidy and Maryam even provided me with a longer garment bag to carry my dress home in, as the one the dress designer used is a bit short.
I will definitely be using their services again. In fact, I already have a plan in mind for a holiday party dress I’d like them to make for me.

I’ve been going to Ultra for over 10 years and I can’t help but disagree with the last review. She’s made and altered many things for me and I’ve always been happy! While her prices aren’t cheap, they certainly are fair for the work that is being done. I’ve had everything from jeans to gowns fixed or altered and I am ALWAYS pleased with the results. My only complaint would be her hours! I guess we all have to sleep sometime, though.

POOR SERVICE & OVERPRICED!
I’ve been meaning to get around to this review since last year. I used Ultra Design in August 2010 and would not recommend them. I was preparing to attend an awards gala in Las Vegas. I brought in pictures of dresses that I liked to give the dressmaker an idea of what style I wanted as well as to receive her feedback on what was indeed possible. We decide on a look and I purchase fabric. When I return for the first fitting, the dress is not at all like the photos or anything we discussed. I point out what needs to be done to improve the dress, she complains about the amount of work involved. The dress was in fact extremely basic with minor details at the waist and upper bodice. I made a huge mistake of not getting an exact price at the beginning and assumed that the cost would be less than the $ 600 price tag (on similar designs) by famous designers at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. Her repeated complaints of how much work was required to please her customer offended me. I paid more than $ 900 (including fabric) and was not totally pleased. Ultra Design’s KMart service didn’t match their Saks Fifth prices. In my opinion, her prices were over the top and her disregard for pleasing a paying customer made for an unforgettable experience… and not in a good way!!!
