Village Antiques

When I first came across Village Antiques I was excited at all the different areas with unique pieces for my home. I loved the ideas I’d get from each of the spaces and how they were setup. But I do have to say I was completely turned off by the fake nature of the owner without even knowing she was the owner. I felt pressured to buy into the «Amitha vibe» of everything. The furniture, the paint, even the AmithaTV for goodness sake. I’ve never seen someone so arrogant and self centered in all my years. When speaking to one of the dealers I was shocked at how the elegant look of things was such a disguise for all the misfortunes that occur here. I was devastated to see numerous spaces I’d love disappear and find out it was due to the greedy nature of a self proclaimed interiors expert. It’s so unfortunate. I will find inspiration at other places as I will no longer return to Village Antiques.

Village Antiques is one of my favorite spots to shop for French antiques. They have gorgeous, unique finds and a very accommodating staff. I highly recommend!
