Emilios Restaurant Howell

My husband and I only order from here. We have never dined in, usually delivery or take out. It isn’t expensive but there are cheaper pizzerias. We love the doughy crust and lightly seasoned sauce. I do get their text specials which are a great deal for all the food you get. The staff is friendly at the counter and when delivering.

Great food. They have a large selection of pizza ready all day. Good prices. The owner is very nice.

Stopped by for a couple slices of pizza, and the lady behind the counter was rather rude the entire time we were there. Anytime we asked a question, we received a brief and rushed answer. She immediately followed everything we said with «anything else?», not allowing us any time to discuss what we wanted to order… Meanwhile, we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. She made us pay immediately, unlike any other pizzeria where they don’t make you pay until the end of your meal… Like any restaurant. This discouraged us from ordering dessert to-​go after the fact. When our pizza was done heating up, she couldn’t even walk around the corner and give it to us… She called us up to get it ourselves. We soon realized that the entire staff of this so-​called Italian restaurant were not even Italian! Unfortunately for us, we realized it after we ordered our pizza. The tv was set to a Hispanic channel, and boy do I love watching tv in a language that I don’t understand!
As for the pizza, it was subpar. Saying it lacked flavor would be a compliment.
Save your time and please don’t bother coming here.

So I came here as a party of 8. There is 1 waitress for a Friday night. The menus are dirty. I really wanted to ask the waitress when the last time they were cleaned. One set of silverware on our table was dirty. I noticed all of these things cause it took her awhile to get to us. I was tempted to walk out.

Diisgusted with their customer service. Had reservation for 9 for my birthday. When we got there we were told we had to leave because there was a christening. Such disrespect can only earn a bad reputation. I dare you to make a reservation.

Looked at catering menu again recently and the prices have been jacked up within the last year. In hindsight the food probably tasted much better when it was at a lower price. Unfortunately, my whole attitude towards this place has changed in step with the price change. No more bang for your buck, I guess they feel the new Shop Rite will lift sales, not from me.

We had Emilio’s cater our daughters sweet sixteen with approx 80 people, the food was so delicious !!! What a great restaurant !!! We got so many complements on the food. They delivered the food hot, fresh and on time. If your looking for great pizza and Italian food you should try Emilio’s.

Not bad… They have gluten free pizza if u have a gluten allergy…

We have been going to Emilio’s ever since Alex took over about 2 ½ years ago. The food and service are ALWAYS GREAT! The portions are big and consistently delicious. We are also having a party there for over 20 people. His party pricing is extremely competitive and we are looking forward to it. His staff is great and since the turnover is low, they get to know all the regular customers. The best part is that Alex, unlike many business owners today, truly appreciates the patronage of each and every customer. Can BYOB.
UPDATE: Party was fantastic. Food was up to Alex’s usual high standards and Alyssa’s (server) work was OUTSTANDING! A great time was had by all.

Good food and huge portions. Definitely family style. Service was quick and friendly.
