Fairfield Inn Hudson

I don’t know about the other reviews but I had a great experience at the hotel. The management and staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. The pool was great for my kids.

I can’t believe this property can maintain their Marriott endorsement. The walls are so thin I thought the person above me was going to fall into my room or keep me up all night with their cement shoes. The «maid service» consists of trash removal, new towels, and bed making. Usually that’s fine, but with the «energy efficient» low flow toilets, I looked at my own feces on the side of the bowl all week. At least leave me a brush and Lysol so I can clean it myself. I combined a week long work trip with one personal night, and the desk clerk told me I couldn’t pay for the personal night in cash. Knowing not being able to pay for my one personal night would cause my work expense report extra scrutiny, I asked if I could change the authorization to my corporate Amex instead of my Marriott visa. Nope! Denied. Had to pay the entire stay out of pocket until I was reimbursed. This is a joke of a Marriott property.

This hotel is disgusting. The rooms smelled of wet dog and there was pet hair in the air. I was completely appalled when I noticed people in the hotel with their pets. We immediately checked out. If you need a place to stay with your pets this is the hotel for you.

I’ve had the opportunity to stay here twice and both times were decent, clean, quiet as best it can be, and friendly. It’s a typical Fairfield Inn with a small pool to play in, but not a workout. Can’t do laps in this pool, which is expected. The breakfasts are fine, nothing special or spectacular, but will meet general expectations. It’s the typical hotel continental breakfasts: cereal, bagels, make your own waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, microwave biscuit sandwiches, etc…
Since it’s an average price and a decent place to stay, I would stay again.
