Papa John’s Pizza

I rarely write reviews. But do you know the anger you get when, you’re down to your last couple of dollars and you’re starving? So i decided to order 1Lg pepperoni and sausage pizza Xtra cheese. And Bbq wings.
IT WAS THEE WORST! The pizza was dry af! The crust was beyond dry. The flavor was bland and the sauce tasted like nothing. The wings barely had any sauce and had absolutely NO flavor. Im pissed just thinking about it.
THIS WAS A WASTE OF CALORIES.

Will not order from here. 1^st time trying Pappa johns food is late. Driver lied and said he knocked and I did not answer. Waited over 95 minutes for mediocre pizza. When i got the call about «not answering my door» I told the girl i would not order again she replied «ok». Will definitely let my neighbors and friends know.

If I could write a review with zero stars that is what I would give them. I ordered a pizza today at 2:30 and it did not arrived until 10 minutes pass 4:00pm. That is over 1:30 hours get the darn thing. Of course it was cold.
No pizza is worth waiting that much. The delivery driver then ask me what is the delivery time, like if I knew. I ordered the pizza online and most places will deliver in 45 minutes to 1 hour. I will never order from this place again. I read some of the reviews here and they all ding this place for bad bad service and slow delivery times. I wish I would had read them before ordering.

Nothing new to add to the reviews below. I love Papa Johns pizza. Hate this location. Ordered pizza online at 12:45. By 3:20pm STILL NO PIZZA. called at 2:15 and the lady said the driver was out and when he got back he would be headed to me.
Called back at 3PM. Answered, «Please hold» and hung up on. called back same. Called back third time and placed on indefinite hold.
Called Corporate to file complaint and get money back. Don’t waste your time.

One star is generous. This location is horrible! Even when we order our pizza hours in advance it shows up a minimum of 1 – 2 hours LATE! The pizza is cold and unenjoyable.
It is our fault for continuing to order from here. We just love Papa Johns pizza, and keep hoping it will be different. It is never different.
We will NEVER order from here again!

Everytime we order it takes 2 hours for delivery, we’ve even had it take 4.5 hours. I love Papa John’s, but this location is not quick. If you want pizza, be prepared for a long wait.

Several times I have ordered from this place and they are always slow. The manager is a very nice guy, but he needs to set his people straight.

This is the worst Papa Johns I have ever ordered from! I have ordered here 3 times and never will again. The first time the order was an hour and a half late. The second time after I ordered I received an email that my order would take 2.5−3 hours to be delivered so I just called to cancel that. Yesterday we decided to try one more time and I thought I would be «smart» and place my order in the future to be delivered at a certain time. After it was already 20 minutes past the time it was supposed to be delivered and it wasn’t, I called the store only for them to tell me it should be there in 15 minutes… so I spoke to the manager and explained how frustrated I was that I placed an order hours in advance to be delivered at a certain time and it was going to still be over 30 mins late and every time I order from them there are problems. All he was, «uhhh ok» and didn’t care one bit. Please don’t waste your time ordering from this location, they are HORRIBLE!!!

Grossed out when I see the same pizza maker ringing up my order and doesnt wash their hands afterwards.

Slowwww delivery. Waited 90 min for a 4.5 mile distance. Won’t order delivery from here again. Pizza was cold.

Today, June 27, 2015, around 3:00pm, a delivery driver came to my door and rang the doorbell. I was asleep because I worked earlier this morning. My son came to my room to inform me that Papa John’s was at the door. We do not order Papa John’s pizza, so there was no reason for him to be at our home. I old my son to ignore him and he’ll go away and I fell back to sleep. With the amount of home invasions and crime that has been happening, I did not want him to know that I was home alone with my children and without my husband. Well about 3 minutes later it sounds as though he is about to beat my door down!!! It frightened me and I jumped out of bed in a panic! I went to open the door and told him that we did not order the pizza. he said, «Well who ordered it then!?!» My reply, «Who’s on the ticket!?!» and he said, «Frank!». Well no one in my home is named Frank and apparently he had the wrong address. I closed the door and called my husband who was extremely livid! He called the location and the manager told him that this was the second time someone has complained about this same delivery driver, doing the same thing. The driver clearly could not read directions or the address number, because he was supposed to be at 12 235 and we live at 12 203! The driver showed the behavior of a mad man and cursed when I coded the door in his face. If he proceeds to work for your company, he needs to take a classic customer service and Google Maps!

I got a Large Meats pizza. It was good. The new manger was nice. I will be order from them again.

I love Papa Johns pizza but this location is the worst with delivery. So disappointed. It should not take 2+ hours every time I order.

Good pizza. Prompt delivery– estimated times are generally accurate. Not sure why everyone rates it so low. Assuming the only people reviewing are the few out of thousands that had a bad experience.

I don’t usually write these reviews, but I created an account just for this one because I felt it was essential. I gave this Papa Johns 3 chances on 3 separate occasions, it progressively got worse. Rude employees, long wait times, and wrong orders will keep me from ever going back here again.

If I could give no stars, I would. Staff is rude and inconsiderate. Had a carry out order, and was never acknowledged when I walked in, even though I stood at the counter less than 5ft from the manager and another employee. Everyone avoided eye contact with me, and I’d like to believe it was for other reasons outside of my race.
They seemed preoccupied so I politely sat down and waited for them to sort out their issue. But once the issue was resolved, I still remain unacknowledged. After 5min. I finally firmly stated that «I have yet to be acknowledged. Do I need to go to Pizza Hut or another Papa Johns?»
To make a long story short, I was so pissed off I did neither. I left and ordered from Sarpinos Pizzeria.
Customer service is a huge deal to me, if it is to you as well and you love Papa Johns pizza, do yourself a favor a choose a different location.

Ordered a pizza on ⁵⁄₂₀₁₄ and it took 2 hrs to get it and have since started going to Domino’s. Now 3 months later figured i would give them another shot, I ordered my pizza at 7pm and here i sit it’s 8:50 pm and all i have received is excuses from the manager. This is my LAST order from Papa John’s, Do not order from this place unless you order 2 hrs before you want your pizza

We usually order from this location and have never had any complaints. Papa Johns pizza is simply the best, imo. My only complaint is I could swear the pizzas are shrinking in size. A large pizza seems more like a medium. We have never tried their delivery. We just order online or call ahead and pick it up. Good service for being a take out food store and always have specials if you ask.

Rude and disappointing. Fail.

I’ve ordered from this location twice. Both times were disappointing and I won’t be ordering from them again. Both time I place my order online and got an email with a really long wait time. This last one was 95 mins! When the pizza finally showed up, the delivery guy was really nice but the pizza was cold! Also, they put all the toppings in the middle and all the cheese at the outside edge. Just weird. I may try the other nearby location next time but not this one.
