I just walked out of Home Depot and I am pretty upset about their lack of help at this location. I was waiting by the air vents/bath aisle needing some help on questions I had in regards to some of their products. When an employee walked by me in a black apron, I asked if I could get some help. He was obviously flustered and said,“I will try, I am trying to find help for everyone and no one is around.” I told him thanks and then proceeded to wait about 10 minutes without one person coming by to see if I needed any help. I looked at some items for an additional 5 minutes in hopes it would make time go by faster while I waited and maybe someone would show up to help me — nope. I walked out of that store without any purchased items and I am going straight to Lowe’s.

Bought a complete set of appliances on Black Friday, Mr. Ray was fantastic. He knows his appliances. We work in the new home industry and Mr. Ray knows much more about appliances than we do. Does not get better than Humble Home Depot and Mr. Ray.

Monday, September 14, 2015 I entered the Home Depot in(Deerbrook) Humble, Texas I saw very few employees. I was looking for threaders/adapters for my lamps. The exchange/return cashier pleasantly directed me to electrical aisle when I showed her the part size needed. I looked for the part for 10 minutes before choosing a coaxial cable part. Wrong! I didn’t want to go home with the wrong part. I walked past aisles looking down them for an available employee. AND there he was! A young man with a kind smile asking how he could assist me. He led the way in the opposite direction to the lamp supplies, reached the carton of assorted sized extensions and handed them to me. Thank you Mr. Shawn Cockrum for your display of excellent customer service. When I returned home, the parts that you selected fit my lamps perfectly. No returns necessary. Thanks, Shawn.

This is a review for their garden center. I called ahead trying to see if they had a specific plant. I spoke with one of their experts, Ken and he was very personable and helpful over the phone. I ended up stopping by. Ken jumped in to help as soon as he recognized me(I guess I was the only one asking for butterfly specific plants). I really appreciated the care he showed in helping me with my search. I gotta say that the whole staff in the garden center was friendly and helpful. Ken and(I am sorry I don’t remember her name) the cashier made me and my family feel so welcome today, I plan to take my business there again!

Jennifer and Hunter from the tool rental department are awesome! They helped us out even though we had not rented equipment from them. We had trouble turning on a billy goat brush cutter that we rented from the westpark/loop610 location. A burnt spark plug turned out to be the problem and they swapped it out for a new one and saved my day! Thank you guys!

I want to tell you about my horrible experience with Home Depot Humble TX(by 59) I needed some blinds and I took my measurements and went to home depot V… told me that if I pay installation fee someone can come and take better measurements and he said it is faster like in 4 days I would get my blinds. I paid the fee and he said someone will call me to schedule an appointment in 24 hrs. After 2 days(not 24 hrs) I had to call and schedule my own appointment(a week passed) Monday 6÷29÷20 guy came and measurements are taken he said someone will call me in 24 hrs to gve me a quote well… no call at all… Thursday(3 days passed) I called Home depot some guy told me that associate is not there today but she will call later on(same day) he took my phn number and name. well… no one called I called agin in the afternoon another worker said she is busy but she will call he took my name and number and no one calls… Here comes Friday I called and asked for the Manager he said that he will take care of it personally and I will get a call for quote in 20 min. well… no one calls. I called again after 3 hrs and some other guy told me she(responsible associate) is on the phn with another customer and she will call me as soon as she is off the phn he took my name and number. Well… she didn’t call me. I called at 9p, and talked to blinds dept. Manager she said she is at lunch and she will call and email me when she gets back with a quote today. Well… no call and no e-mail. So it has been 2 weeks that I haven’t got any quote for my inquiry My order did not replaced and I paid upfront for this service that I have been running after and they don’t do any service that I paid for. There is no other way to describe this experience except saying worst of all… I thought I was going to a legit reputable company not some Joe Bob company but it is worst. Now, I don’t trust that they will be able to do this right and my blinds will be professionally installed or will come as I ordered.

I just installed(along with my family) a new«arctic ice» marble backsplash. The project was arduous and I received great guidance from Tim in the tile department. He walked me around the store to get me all the supplies needed. I did however have to make 5 more trips back for more supplies and to rent a saw, but that’s expected. I will say as far as other employees go, don’t trust the first answer you get… we were given several pieces of incorrect information.

You know, I’m not a huge fan of this chain. The stores seem dim and not well maintained, IMHO. This one will do in a pinch, though. Their plants seem to be kept pretty well and the folks working here are friendly enough, if you can find them. We bought a storm door from here a few years back and had them install it. The install was done well and the door has been great. So that service is well handled.

I usually find what I’m looking for at this location and prices are decent. Staff is generally helpful and informative. Their e-receipts program is very helpful for billing purposes and their returns are great when you buy more than what you need for a job. Recommend!

My main reason for a trip to Home Depot these days is for their kid’s event the first Saturday of every month. Most activities are perfect for kids aged 3 to 10. Younger ones need help, but it’s a good, educational family activity, IMO. The staff who organize it are very friendly and helpful when needed. Of course, this week we exited through the garden center and spent $ 50 on plants, flowers and pots that we hadn’t planned on going in, but hey, spring is almost here! We are anxious for a little color around here.

congratulations Home Depot. I ve noticed the difference. First of all hooray on hiring more staff. This chain is well known for understaffing. I dreaded going here because when I needed assistance there was none around. Ever. I often opted for Lowe’s because although the prices were a bit higher than Home Depot there was sure to be around helpful staff. But that has changed now. I ve noticed the cleaningness of the store, the self checkout lanes always open, and by far more noticeable and friendly staff. Great job. Im back to being a regular customer.

I was pleasantly surprised by the patio furniture selection at Home Depot. We wanted something not super cheap, but not über expensive like at Chair King. Home Depot’s «high end» sets were just right. The sales guys was nice enough to even point out that we shuld just go home and order it from the website instead because they have free shipping.
