Hi-​Tech was the most thorough of the companies we had inspect our home and they had the best warranty, so we went with them for local treatment in hopes that we can avoid fumigation down the road. Jeff spent a lot of time with us during the inspection and on the day of our treatment — he is very friendly and helpful.

Jeff came out and did a detailed inspection. He was very sincere and his price was fair. Plus we didn’t have to leave the house during the treatment. I was very happy with the over all experience. They gave me a 3 year warranty on my whole house.

Frank showed up and did the work. He was very clean and respectful. At the end of the day I was very happy with the over all experience. They gave me a 3 year warranty on my whole house.

We responded to their radio ads because we were concerned about having toxic materials in our home. But when they checked our home and our neighbor’s they said that only tenting would work. The people that they contracted did fine but, of course, our cost was increased by High-Tech’s margin. High-​Tech then failed to come back and repair the termite damage as promised by the salesman. When we called, the woman at the office flippantly said that we get no repairs and denied that they ever promised it. Unless you have High-​Tech termites you can probably do better elsewhere.

After posting my review I got a call from the owner of the business who wanted to set things right. He seemed very polite and caring. He later had the salesman call me. The salesman insisted that he was always very careful and always provided very accurate quotes and that he was concerned that «I wasn’t very attentive» during the hour and a half that I spent with him.
It seems that not only were our termites too low tech but we don’t pay enough attention to pest control salesman to satisfy him. There appears to be no cure for our shortcomings.

I have been doing business with Hi Tech for several years. I interviewed 10’s of companies before going with them. Ray Wurm came out and inspected and was more thorough than all the other companies combined. And also, they were more reasonable! I did not want a full tent job (which by law all companies have to recommend to the customer… some lobby the fumigation industry must have!) but we were able to treat areas that needed attention with thermidor and it was not necessary to tent the house (and ruin my tile roof in the process).
Everyone at Hi Tech has been terrific: from Charity in the office, to Frank who responds to our maintenance requests, and highly qualified in his own right; and Ray (who still does my yearly inspections and is not just incredibly good at his job, but a real decent human being as well.)
Never thought I’d write an ode to a termite company, but they are that good. At least as long as the above named people work there!!! I feel a lot of peace of mind working with them.

I called Raymond last month April 2013, because the rental property that was treated for termites from another company still looked as if the termites were there, he came out and did an inspection and again was just absolutely professional and honest. I love, love, love this company. Will definitely keep them on speed dial!

Don’t use them or any other company using this method! We used them along with our neighbor & it simply did not work! Yes, the same guy Ray (nice guy & great talker) convinced us this was the way to go. My neighbor & I called them back out too many times to treat one spot after another. After the conclusion this did not work I asked for some compensation to go toward the only way that works TENTING. They would not & said the warranty has passed. See ya in court.
