The Ice Cream Way

My friends and I usually stop by here after hitting up the beach or the bars in downtown. Love it every time! A little pricy for ice cream ($ 5.50 for a small at the time of this review) but definitely very delicious! Plus it’s cool to watch them make it. Employees are very friendly too!

This is a neat little place get your ice cream fix. There’s not much décor in the shop (probably because it’s JUST an ice cream shop and most people leave as soon as they get their ice cream). The ice cream itself is a little pricey but that’s totally ok with me since I’m sensitive to milk based products and can order my ice cream with a different base like almond or soy milk.
I love that you can customize your order to whatever you like. Our server was super friendly and patient since it took us a few minutes to decide on what to order.

Love this place! Best ice cream ever. Literally the best strawberry ice cream I have ever had and unlimited free toppings!!! Also such a friendly staff. Alyssa or Sean have always helped me and they’re so nice and happy to help!

First time here and Alyssa knocked it out of the park! She explained how everything worked and encouraged me to be experimental by assuring me any extra toppings is at ZERO charge! Unreal!!! She was very friendly and answered all the questions I had.
Ice cream was very good. Can tell it’s made with premium ingredients. Ended up getting cookies and cream with mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and whipped cream and sprinkles to top it off.
Would recommend.

My spouse & I discovered this place about a week ago and we love it! This ice cream tastes SO fresh and amazing; I love the raspberry flavor with premium cream. We support this place!

First time here /​wonderful customer service. Very helpful in choosing options. I went with the almond milk chocolate chip cookie dough. Notified that I can have a free cone && as many free toppings as I want — AMAZING! Ice cream was good, next time for flavor purposes I’ll go with the cream rather than almond milk.

Really good stuff. Tons of great flavors, even vegan options! It does take some time for them to make it, since they make it from scratch. Think Cold Stone, if Cold Stone made the actual ice cream right in front of you while you wait. Definitely going back next time I am in the area.

Definitely a place to try if you like ice cream! They have an extensive list of flavors to choose from. I got the nutella ice cream and i loved it! its all made with nitrogen, which was cool to see how they made it
only down side is that its pricey. Its $ 7 for a regular size, and $ 5 for a small.

Decent, but not top notch.
So when we rolled in the Nitrogen tank was empty and they had to switch it out. They offered us a free topping but overall I wasn’t wowed. The kids will love the nitrogen system which creates a fog that rolls over the counter and amazes the kids, but overall I wasn’t wowed compared to the competition. I ordered a small and WOW was it small. The bowl was small to start with and the ice cream they gave me looked small in the bowl. Not a good value at all for close to $ 6.00!
LOCATION and AMBIANCE (Rating 3.5) It’s clean and well lit and in a great area, but they really didn’t have a design or marketing «look and feel» IMO. Very bland inside. That shouldn’t stop you from visiting though as it’s good.
SERVICE (Rating 2.5) The staff seemed new and not well trained.

I really couldn’t taste the salted caramel very much. The salted caramel taste came from a bottle that I’ve seen used at coffee shops around town. Not sure if that’s they others do it, but it didn’t come close to others I tasted.

Was pleasantly surprised with the ice cream. I wasn’t expecting more than just the cool factor that they use liquid nitrogen. The flavor was on point and I love how creamy it was! When I think of ice cream I think of silky smooth and slightly sweet ice cream. They got it down!!!
On top of that the service was awesome. I came in 30 minutes before closing and the employees were genuinely happy and helpful. Thank you Alyssa and Sean

Tried this place just before the official grand opening. LOVE that they have non-​dairy base options. LOVE that you pick you flavor and your mix-​in and toppings. Staff were all friendly. Prices were pretty comparable to other ice cream places in the area, especially considering customization process.
Dislikes: takes a bit of time to make, perhaps they’ve sped up since being open for a while. I don’t love the texture.

Obsessed with this place. I’m gluten-​free and really health concious about fake sugars, etc.

I’ve had N2 made ice cream many times. But this is the first time I’m given the opportunity to custom make my flavor! Wow! What a concept!
They do have many of the standard flavors available (strawberry, cookies n cream, etc.), but the draw is being able to make your own!
First, choose a size
Second, choose an ice cream base
Third, choose you «mix ins» such as fruit flavors, nuts, and spices
Fourth, choose your toppings
Yum!

This place is amazing. You create your own ice cream, from picking the base, flavor and toppings and they make it right in front of you. How cool is that? I had the almond milk with butterscotch and chocolate sprinkles and it was delicious.

Like Creamistry but not the same cool vibe. Plainly set up shop with nice warm welcomes but awkward silence other than sounds of them making ice cream and customers murmuring what they’re planning to order.
Lots of choices to appease everyone. The process of making the product doesn’t seem very streamlined, takes a while, and doesn’t have a Wow presentation factor. The cup has plenty of room on the side for lots of topping and even more ice cream and I noticed that with other people’s orders too. For the price it would’ve been nice to at least make it more enjoyable to look at. Good thing it tastes a lot better than it looks.

Definitely producing a VERY tasty ice cream here. It’s fun to watch them make the ice cream from scratch.

The employees and manager were EXTREMELY friendly and helpful.
Pricing is high compared to other ice cream shops in the immediate vicinity. $ 5 for a small cup (which was perfect size for me) and $ 7 for a ‘regular.’ Price includes one topping.
I’ll be taking the kids here as they enjoy the experience.

Stopped by for some ice cream didn’t think it’d be overpriced it cost $ 7 for regular size we got one chocolate chip and one strawberry but they tasted similar real heavy on the milk. When we initially walked in the owner was giving a lot of attention to an older couple and their daughter even offered them a free ice cream for her birthday all this time ignoring us, that couple left and we were the only customers and he walked by us twice never bothering to even acknowledge us. I guess we weren’t worthy to receive his customer service. Would I recommend them? NO, my girls thought the ice cream was yuck for me it was ok but not worth $ 7 just because it was made in front of us with «fresh» ingredients not sure how fresh it is when they’re pouring syrup out of a bottle. All in all our experience was not good so would NOT recommend.

Got here pretty late around 10pm but gladly served myself and my friends. I love how clean the store is (it’s still soft opening) but good luck to them although I doubt they need it because they’re all so awesome!
Very friendly love their customer service very clean. The ice cream flavors we tried were the chocolate rocky road and the coffee ice cream with toffee. A lot cheaper than creamistry and it’s the exact same thing! You even get one FREE topping! Alyssa, Ashley, and John were VERY helpful and nice. I love how they have a variety of toppings and enjoyed how quickly they made our dessert as well. For customer service A+ & ICE CREAM SO YUMMY ^_​^ JUNE 26^th is their grand opening so come in and enjoy the delicious sweet tooth craving ice cream!
For a small it’s $ 5 large $ 7, each additional topping is only 75 cents.

As a serious dessert and Ice cream connisuer Iv had my fair share of Ice Cream. We’re reagulars at After’s and Frostbites and the occasional 31 flavors… we will really travel any distance for a great dessert! Even Nitrogen Ice cream–
Upon entering we were greeted by a really sweet girl… she was super informative and was sweet to my kiddos and gave us a sample of the Rocky Road. I wasnt hyped about the flavor selection but was excited to try the Nitrogen ice cream cuz last time we had it (in LA) it was Fire… and boo hoo… thats where I was let down. I got the cookie dough, it was nothing special… I think the combo of the texture and flavor wasnt my thing. Then, after my daughter quit eating her ice cream (before it was finished– which never happens) I decided to try some of her cookies and cream and it had a chemical type taste to it for a few bites. Majorlly disappointed on that note.
The ice cream was also way overpriced and I was a little turned off by the male employee working talking shit about the taco spot across the street… I was thinking to myself, arent you the new kid on the block, shouldnt you sthu about your neighbors!!! Im sad to say, this place left a bad taste in my mouth more ways than one…
They still get two stars though, for the sweet girl who gave great service… and I know sometimes it takes a while for new businesses to get it right… so I may give them another shot in a couple months.

Absolutely loved this place! I have been keeping a good eye on this place before it opened up and was so excited to finally get to test out the ice cream when it opened up!
I visited it today and got a step by step demo of how the ice cream is made and it’s awesome! So unique, nothing else like it! You must come in and visit it!
The ice cream was nothing like before, so creamy and fresh!
