UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, and RINGO MEANS IT WHEN HE SAYS HE’S NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THEY BREAK! On 2÷3÷16 I went to Ringo’s for a state inspection and left with a broken windshield wiper pump. Instead of telling me about it, they let me pay for the inspection and walk out to my vehicle with WATER POURING OUT OF THE ENGINE. I guess they thought I wouldn’t notice? I asked the owner, who was standing there why there was water coming from my engine and he looked at me as if I were crazy and told me HE DIDN’T KNOW. I told him it wasn’t leaking BEFORE I got there. So, he got a flashlight and pulled the hood up and acted like I was wasting his time and found it was the windshield wiper pump. I told him it was his responsibility because it wasn’t broken BEFORE I got there. He argued with me and said he would replace it if I bought the part, but I couldn’t prove they broke it.
I told him I wanted to speak to the mechanic that inspected my car. So we walked into the bay and the young man that inspected my car said that, yes, when he turned on the back windshield wiper, the pump broke and water spilled.
RIngo still refused to pay for the part although his mechanic that did the inspection admitted that when he replaced my back window wiper, he turned it on and the pump broke. Ringo rudely told me again that this wasn’t their fault and if I bought the part, he would replace it. Like I would bring a vehicle back there after they broke mine doing an INSPECTION. Ringo was the most UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE owner I have ever dealt with.
