Arrived at 4:35 hoping for an inspection. There were two guys just standing around in the garage with one car up on the lift. Went inside the office and was happy to see no other customers. I was greeted by a woman who asked what I needed. I asked if they did vehicle inspections and was told they didn’t do them after 4:20(she was repeating what some guy was saying from around a corner). Their business hours are from 8:00 — 5:30. Won’t be going back.

Took it to them for an inspection. They said it had to be registered in the same county to get the inspection at their shop, which was bull but no big deal because the annex was around the block. Brought it back later after i got address of vehicle changed. They told me they couldn’t perform an inspection bc the roads were wet and the brakes would fail. Absolutely rediculous. If they lie about something like this I wouldn’t trust them on the bigger stuff.

My son took his vehicle there for a tune up. They gave Hume a drive out price and took car in had it out in 3 hours. Did only work that needed to be done for tune up. The vehicle is a 2003 Ford explorer and this was first tune up with almost 140,000 miles. They could have easily found a lot of small repairs that needed to be done. Did tune uoand got vehicle out as told. So far so good price exactly as quoted.

Be ware of this place. We were told that we had a blown head gasket– & it was going to cost $ 2400! To fix it. I called around found Enrique Auto Repair– & he said he would repair it for $ 800-$ 1,000! BUT it wasn’t even a blown head gasket! Just needed for the hose to be replaced!!! This company is a rip off! Save your hard working money & go else where! This company should be ashamed of themselves!

Uses cheap parts that don’t fit the vehicle. In 2012, I brought my 2004 dodge ram in for a new radiator. The repair cost was $ 600 and some change. The price is somewhat reasonable for the repair, but not the quality of the repair. They used ZIPTIES to secure the right side of the radiator to where it should have been fastened with a screw. A screw wouldn’t fit because they bought a cheap part from China that didn’t meet the exact specifications of the truck. No self-respecting licensed mechanic should use zip ties on an expensive repair like that. In July 2013, I had to get a new radiator because the one that Tune-Up Plus put in had cracks in it. This time, I went to my dad’s trusted mechanic that has a 3 year warranty on all work done.
