My Mom, 2 Aunts, and I were in town for the Avon 39 and decided to have dinner here. The menu looked good and it didn’t seem to busy for a Friday night. We were sat immediately and our serve took our drink order. For dinner I choose the Pappardelle Camoagnolo, it’s pasta with Italian sausage, sweet peppers, and cheese. It was fabulous! One of my Aunts had spaghetti and meatballs, she said it was wonderful. My Mom & other Aunt had one of the specials that evening it was the Involtini Di Pollo it was chicken stuffed with some type of sausage and it was served with spinach fettuccine, they loved it. If we return to Houston anytime in the future we will eat here again. The food was great and so was the service, it is very loud during dinner hour and it’s a but pricey.

Food was over seasoned and over spiced. Not up to par and how it has been in the past. Used to be great but not anymore.

I’ve always passed by this restaurant so many times from going to the mall and it never caught my attention to come and eat here till yesterday my friend had told me she had came with a friend and told me how great it was. So I came in with her to give it a try. The inside isn’t anything fancy it’s almost like a Olive Garden. We came in on a Friday night around 8 it wasn’t busy so we easy got seated. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The menu is a little pricy the isn’t anything to special that would make me want to come in often to dine in. We ordered a shrimp Alfredo it was like any other Alfredo I was satisfied with it. It came with a salad and we chose Italian it’s was alright. We also ordered a pizza topped with Italian sausage, pepperoni, and red bell pepper. It made with a thin crust, the taste was good nothing anything have a wow expression but I liked it. We had also ordered a alcoholic beverage which I don’t remember the name of but it was really delicious.

I only give a five star when I can’t offer any recommendation for improvement. Food, service, and ambience are great. I ordered the Tomato Caprese with Fresh Burrata as an appetizer. I was looking for a rather basic Italian tomato and mozzarella appetizer. This was exceptional. The presentation(see my photo) is exceptional and the flavor was to match. It was bright, delicious, had contrasting flavors, the fresh basil was obvious, and the mozzarella was delicious. Recommended. I ordered the Tuscan Strawberry Salad with wood-grilled chicken. I have to say, it was about as good as any salad I have ever had. The chicken was tender and plump, the strawberries were fresh, and the spices were just right. I had tea for my drink. Recommended.

I really like this place. It’s not like knock your socks off, oh my god it’s so good food, but it really isn’t bad at all. We’ve been twice now, both times for lunch, and haven’t had any issues come up. The service was great both times, and our food was awesome. I’ve gotten the linguine and clams both times and OMG it’s the best I’ve ever had. Sooooo freaking good. My bf had the Mezzaluna(I think.) and he really liked it as well. We will definitely be back soon, I COULDEATTHOSELINGUINEANDCLAMSEVERYDAYFORTHERESTOFMYLIFEEE!

was underwhelmed. soups are ok. food wasn’t anything special. décor included raw plywood panel next to me(horrible smell) & «under construction» theme with plywood, raw walls & no explanation or apologies. Olive Garden is better, cleaner by far & much less expensive.

Hadn’t been to a Carrabbas in several months. The food was still very good but the portions have been cut considerably and the prices had gone up about 10%, at least on what I ordered.

It’s a real shame the Carrabas on 114 in Grapevine closed down. It was great. This one is now the closest to me and I was less than impressed. First of all, the service is slooooooooooooow. It’s like they were waiting for the cow to die of old age before they could cook it for my sirloin marsala. The bread and fried mozzarella were less than impressive. Two booths down, a woman vomited. Took almost twenty minutes for staff to clean it up and it really ruined my experience.

I love this place. The manager makes sure everyone and everything is done to perfect. My favorite dish is chicken Bryan. But there are too many great dishes to name. Love their happy hour and their Amore Monday specials.

This is really the only chain Italian restaurant I eat at with enjoyment. I was very disappointed that the grapevine location closed as it had much better staff than this location. However the food is still good and the seasonal foods are usually very good. I have yet to had a bad meal, however I would not recommend the lasagna. I never order it at restaurants as I am a lasagna snob. I have tasted my husbands lasagna and did not care for it and he thought it was average and typical for Italian restaurants. I would also suggest always going with one of the soups with your meal as they are usually very tasty. Only once did I have mamas chicken noodle soup and it was overly seasoned with pepper. The staff exchanged it for a different soup without a problem that was very tasty.

I guess I am not as big a fan as the regulars. We have been here 3 or 4 times. They are a bit pricey for comparable restaurants. They are convenient close to the RAVE movie. This probably is their downfall. When you are in demand you don’t have to be that good. Staff was pleasant and things were operate efficiently. I eat enough but I think they are conservative on their portions compared to the price. Not particularly overwhelmed with the product. Presentation is acceptable but did not do anything for us. Hooray for people that like their food I can’t say you are wrong. We need different venues for each personality. Give them a try, it may be what you are looking for. You won’t be embarrassed by taking a guest, but you may not get a big hug.

I have been coming here for years and it is now my favorite Italian place. In fact anytime I go to any other Italian restaurant I am left craving Carrabas instead. The food — I have tried just about everything on the menu and I have NEVER left disappointed or had something that didn’t blow my mind. My favorites are Chicken Bryan, Shrimp Fettuccini, Italian Classics, and the Mahi Wafula. I love their bread and olive oil/seasoning. It far exceeds any other place that offers bread. It’s the best! Also I hated fish for my entire life before a waiter talked me into the Mahi. God Bless his soul. Now I love Mahi! Everything is fresh, handmade, homemade, and truly delicious. I can’t speak highly enough about them! Side notes — the service is always exceptional here! And the carry out service they provide is way better then any other restaurant. You can order food online, park, and they bring it out to your car. It’s super easy and they do an amazing job packaging everything securely! You can have the entire experience at home. :)

This place is great, from the food to the service. Dane, the owner really knows how to run a restaurant. He personally checks on every table. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

I had this Tuscany drink which wad marvelous cranberry juice, lemon cello and prosecco 5 stars. Bread 5 stars olive oil dipping sauce 3 stars something in the sauce probably the garlic was very bitter. Caprease salad — way too much pepper, tomatoes were under ripe and cut to thin. Mozzarella was perfect 3.5 stars because of the cracked pepper. Lentil soup with Italian sausage 5 stars. Shrimp and rissoto. Tomato sauce rissoto was very bland but cook well. The shrimp was also cooked well but there needs to be more shrimp 3 stars Sat at the bar service was excellent.

This place is the best. On Sunday’ if you are planning on a visit, make sure you get there very close to 11:30am as possible. After 1:00pm they get really crowded. No reservations. The only thing they have is a call ahead that you can do. Otherwise get there early. They normally have seasonal entrees and that is what I had today. The Mahi Wulfe with garlic potatoes. Of course my side salad. Our waitress Rachel was great! Today was her last day. Moving on to bigger and better things. The restaurant is great! Nice for family, friends and that special someone.

Boy, do I ever love this place. We have been regulars here since they opened. We eat here at least once a month. I would eat here even more but I don’t want to wear out my other half on the place. Dane and his staff really make you feel at home. The food is top notch and the wines pull it all together. I love love love the Mama Mandola’s Sicilian Chicken Soup. About half of the times we go there I will just have the soup. It is a full meal in itself. The food: we love the Steamed Mussels, Calamari, Pasta Carrabba, and anything Masala. The service: top notch. Although we lost our favorite server due to bigger and better things. The prices: are not cheap around $ 12 — $ 20 but well worth the price. Tip for the wine: get a pitcher of the house wines(all are good). The pitcher is about the size of a bottle, maybe a little more, but the price is less than bottle or individual glasses. I’m not sure it’s still on the menu but just ask for the pitcher.

Carraba’s is now my favorite«chain» Italian restaurant — here is why: everything is fresh, fresh, fresh. No, really — knowing from someone that works there, all their food is prepared fresh, they even make their own dressings. What I also like is that you can get something other than the giant plate of pasta. Carraba’s has many meat and vegetable entrees. For example, they have a large selection of chicken dishes and you can get the entrée with a side of fresh veggies or pasta if you choose. You can get a Marsala dish in chicken, beef, or pork — I love that they offer this variety. One of our must-haves is the Caprese salad, though at our last visit they had changed it a bit and made it more about the tomatoes than the mozzarella — it was still delicious — I could eat that salad every single day — really! Service is fine, I’ve never really been offended or noticed anything great because I’m too busy enjoying my *food*!
