I did not have time to read Bethany’s review below until now. We drove by the carousel and my mother thought it would be nice to put the kids on the merry –go-round. So we stopped and went to buy a ticket. I was willing to pay $ 3.00 although my mom thought it was expensive. I asked for one ticket and was asked buy the clerk if I would be on the ride. I’m holding my 10 month old baby, of course I’m going to be on the ride. What kind of stupid question is that? I did not say that but simply«yes» to which I was informed I had to also buy a $ 3.00 ticket. Are you nuts?! I did not say at either. I took my $ 3.00 back that I had laid out on the counter and left. Total BS in my opinion.

This is an ok ride for kids.

They really need to splash at least a solid-colored bucket of paint on the non-moving benches of the carousel. The stripped white background with the numerous holes made for awful pictures. The speed was a little quick, too, for such a small-radius contraption.

DO.NOT.GO.HERE!!! This USED to be the best place to let the wee ones ride a carousel on the Cape until yesterday. We were accosted by the«Carni»(you can’t miss her dark Pippy-longstocking like braids) running the ride that children over 3 years of age could not be accompanied by an adult unless we each purchased a $ 2 ticket. She then proceeded to give us crap b/c we didn’t want to leave our kids(4&5) on the ride alone.(Last year, they both got a little«antsy» at the beginning of the ride — so it was a better idea to hang with them until they were comfortable with it – and we had NO problems then). Lo and behold — if you read the sign posted outside the ride — it makes NO mention of ages!!! It reads that children who are 42 inches or shorter may be accompanied by an adult!!!(NOMENTIONOFANADDITIONALTICKET !!!). Both of my kids meet that criteria!(So sue me we come from short genes!) When Mr Bethany complained to the«lady» inside the«fun area»(totally using this term against my better judgement!) she said«And you’re going to fight me over 4 f@#*ing dollars?» Excuse me? To say that in front of 2 litle kids — in your line of work? NOWAY!!! We will NEVER be back & hope that Karma swings into action. They totally our ruined afternoon :(
