Ordered breakfast for take-out while visiting the area. Solid omelets with a nice selection of fruit in the fruit cup.

Excellent option if you’re in the market for some delicious diner fare. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Menu offers typical diner food(burgers, sandwiches, classic breakfast and brunch options) at a reasonable price. I’d dine here again.

Great breakfast spot with fantastic coffee. I had a special omelet with back Swiss cheese, Portobello mushrooms and bacon. Nice and fluffy. Honey wheat toast was delicious. This will be our new place when we come to the cape!

Awesome breakfast(get the breakfast burrito). Service was awesome. Our waitress, Ashley, killed it. Definitely return trips in the future. Nothing truly amazing that makes me give it 5 stars though. Skip the home made corned beef has. Go with the canned stuff instead.

Lots of options. Good specials. The homemade corned beef hash is delicious. Would give 5 stars if the tables weren’t crammed so close together.

Fast paced breakfast place. Almost no wait and great food. Staff a bit rude, but I guess that’s the trade off for the speed.

This place is pretty much standard breakfast fare. It is clean and the food comes out fast. They have a good selection of food and I enjoyed my meal. Our server was extremely nice. However, the short haired woman with salt and pepper hair and tattoos(I think she was the manager) needs a lesson in customer service. She was on the phone when my family walked in, and she barked at us(while still on the phone) that the«child» could not sit near the window because they had these glass vases there. I resisted the temptation to break all 3 of the vases in front of her eyes or to tell her to shove the vases up… to a location where they could not be broken. I worked in foodservice for over 20 years and I would never talk to a customer this way. Perhaps a better approach would be for the server to say«Would you mind sitting the little girl over here? We just don’t want to break the vases.» This will be our first and last time to The Daily Paper, especially since the Egg and I is right across the street.

Not as enjoyable as expected. Bacon was chewy and not crisp. Chicken sausage, browned to burnt on the outside, cold on the inside. Eggs were just ok. English muffin was basically raw, maybe the toaster and or salamander was busted. The coffee and juice were excellent. If I return it will be for the coffee and maybe to try a muffin or Danish.

The best food ever! No joke. Everything is homemade, and delicious! I asked the man behind the counter how many eggs he went through and he said, «This morning? I’ve cracked 90 dozen this morning. I’ll crack another 90 for lunch!» Overall, it’s an amazing spot. I highly recommend it! Breakfast food is exceptional!!!

Solid breakfast for a decent price. Loud and busy but worth it for the food. Service is fast and efficient. Probably the best brunch option in the area.

I was aghast that my cranberry pancakes were made with Craisins, in Cape Cod no less! Although this place is located in the same place as the old Perry’s, the food is clearly not Perrys. The service was fair, the place is clean, the food isn’t bad. If you go, don’t get cranberry pancakes, or you’ll be sorely disappointed.

Great little diner right on Main St where you can practice the lost art of reading an actual newspaper while enjoying some delicious breakfast food. I got the Country Scramble, a coffee, and the Barnstable Patriot for a total of $ 12.20. Early Bird specials are $ 4.50.

Came on a Sunday morning about 9am had about a half hour wait but worth it. Food was great, hot & plenty. I had the hash & eggs and my wife had double trouble 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon &2 pancakes. Now we have to walk to P-Town and back to work it off!

Well, the Daily Paper on Main is no Perry’s. Perhaps it’s unfair to compare this new incarnation of a breakfast spot to it’s predecessor, but I can’t help it. Luckily, they still carry Perry’s famous homemade honey oat bread, so I can get my toast fix. You have to be in the know to order it, but it’s usually listed on their list of available bakery items. The menu is extremely similar to the main Daily Paper on West Main’s. Prices are much higher than Perry’s used to be. The food, in general, doesn’t have that diner quality that I love. I still greatly enjoy coming here, but it’s no longer the budget-conscious place that I used to love. It’s locally owned, yet somehow generic. For easy parking, stick with the lot next to Columbos. Trying to parallel park on Main is always challenging.
