Came here for her birthday and Father’s Day gift with my dad’s 2004 Nissan Frontier in mind. Came here hoping that we could use the current Unilocal deal that they have for $ 95 you get $ 125 store voucher. Their selection is wide and their customer service was immediate. Nice I was very helpful when describing both the truck and the quality characteristics we were looking for and the new replacement radio. However they not only matched a competitor’s price but also provided us with the additional kit and harness 3.5 millimeter Jack for free are total out the door for like $ 200 it was only $ 150. Would suggest making a stop here or if your local or in town for an awesome gift of music.

I have been coming here for years now. I have gotten anything from Double-​Dins, Amps, HIDs, Aux inputs and alarms with solenoids. I’ve had these installed in my own cars, my family member’s cars and have recommended my coworkers to come and save money as well. I haven’t had any issues, but if something isn’t working like I want it, I bring it over and show them what I’m talking about and it is usually taken care of right on the spot.
They have grown a lot since I first started going here, and the parking lot is pretty busy now that they opened a boxing club next door… The best thing to do is plan ahead… talk to Adam or Tommy or the girl (I forgot her name… I’m so sorry) and let them know exactly what you’re looking for and come to an agreement on the components you want and the price you can afford… then plan for a time you can drop off your car. I work weekdays far away, so I usually plan for a weekend morning and leave it with them for a few hours, that’s the absolute best way to get a great install done here. Tommy has on more than one occasion, offered to drop me off and pick me up while my car was being worked on. I haven’t ever had any issues with the products or installs I’ve gotten done here, I come back because they consistently give me a good deal. The installers work hard and fast, I try to take care of them as well. My most recent install was a Viper Alarm (2 solenoids) a deck, amp & speaker in my truck… it was all installed in under hour.
The coworker I sent here now swears by this place, He ended up saving a couple thousand bucks for lighting on his brand new Jeep after I sent him to see Car Audio One.

So i went to car audio one looking for a good amp and sub and adam da worker gave me something else saying this is better garantee it works fine and it did it sounded good he taxed me =$ 500 for amp and a massive speaker and in a week it blew up he kept making me go back and wait for his ass to help me out when i payed him in advance so then we changeed the amp again another sub point blank bs with these ppl dnt go there thinking u gunna get hookd up there a rip off buy the stuff but dnt let them work on it i also bought a t2 dats a $ 1500 speaker and guess what it blew up as well why? Cuz they b giving u bullshit there the plug rite? They should b like this amp and this speaker go together u will b good not take this this is better then that so i lost like 2gs and lots of time fuck these fake ass ppl they have good workers dont get it fukkd up tho but the sellers r a bunch of fakes keep this in mind when u buy from there

Sorry A$$ customer service. I came here ready to spend some money on an amp and some speakers and I was not even greeted. The people that worked there walked passed me a couple of times. Not even an excuse me. The place looked like a hot mess and when it was my turned to be helped they helped some guy that came in after me wanting some cheap a$$ part for his hid lights. Way to lose money, lose a customer, and earn a crappy rating.

This place is awesome, and can definitely help you with any car audio needs you have, plus more! I found this place on Craigslist where they were advertising a special on one of the stereos they sell. I wasn’t expecting great service off the bat because the prices were so good, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were honest about the different qualities of the products, and took the time to explain the differences between the 2 options I was considering. There was no pushy salesmen ship, or trying to up sell me something that I wasn’t asking for. Just 100% honest customer service.
I came here to buy a new stereo for my car. I have a little experience installing stuff like this, so I got the whole kit do the install myself. Adam walked me through the entire install for my car and even gave me a brief demonstration. It was better, and more hands on than watching a youtube video. Unfortunately when I got home, to no fault of Car Audio One, one of the installation components was faulty. I took it back the next day, and not only did they replace the faulty piece with no hassle, they offered to finish the install for me for free to make up for the time I lost having to drive back. While I was there I picked up a new ballast for one of my headlights, which they also walked me through the install on.
I highly recommend this place. Even if you don’t live, or work near Imperial Beach, it is definitely worth the drive for the amazing prices, and to have Adam and his staff help you out. They genuinely care about your experience and want you to be happy with your purchase for years to come!

Had a great experience at this place, couldn’t be any better. Always like coming out here. I get the best deals. Come in and Adam will help you out. They have great pricing, and will help you out to get whatever you want and need as far as car accessories, stereos, sound system and much more. The go to guys are tommy and Adam! I bought two subs from this place and I went back to exchange the two subs because I wasnt happy with the sound and just to downgrade to something smaller I got a fee of 60 dollars on top of what I had already payed! It was a total rip off, never coming here again !

I appreciate all the help from Tommy and Wally. They helped install a Viper alarm on my car one session. Weeks later, I wanted to get HID done on my headlights and ended up getting all HID at an affordable price. Will recommend this place to some friends.

Came in looking for 52″ light bar for my Jeep, ended up getting such a great deal that I walked out with windshield lights, headlights and fog lights as well! Great service, great prices, will definitely return for many Jeep upgrades!

I came in and got new HID lights for my car and 2 months later they burnt out so I came back for an exchange and the owner started to fight with me about replacing them! I’m sorry but take care of your costumer and you will make more money that way! Also maybe if you didn’t over stock your store with product you can’t sell with in a year then you won’t have issues!

Saw a deal on Craigslist and called to confirm it was in stock. Tommy answered the phone and told me to come on in, they have it.
Once I entered, he helped me immediately after helping out the customer ahead of me. He grabbed me the stereo and asked if I needed anything else, and I remembered I needed butt connectors. He took me to the shop and let me grab what I needed. Then I also remembered I needed new terminals for my sub box. He grabbed me the part I needed asap. I asked what I owed him for it, he said «do you have a Unilocal account? Post a review and take it no charge»
Awesome guy, he was handling so many customers but still had a great attitude.

I got a deck and two new front speakers here. Very good quality. They are very friendly and will work with you. The waiting area isn’t very comfortable. Its outside and gets hot. The wait can be kind of long if your a walk in because it seems like they get pretty busy at times. I suggest to make an appointment and you probably wont wait as long.

I was referred to this family store by a friend and I must say that this is a great place to get quality work done at a great price. I had a Pioneer double DIN unit installed in my truck and they did a great job!
Look, misunderstandings happen but don’t let the few less than perfect reviews deter you from at least checking them out. They will try to up-​sell you; but wouldn’t you? That’s business. Just tell them what you want and they’ll work out a great deal for you.

Shady or not, you get what you pay for! I wanted a cheap replacement stereo that has an aux/​USB input. I got it, plus installation for a low price!!! I was also pressed for time and they got me in n out in less then an hour!
