Locally owned and operated, we are a casual, yet sophisticated restaurant and bar with a menu focused on seasonally inspired selections utilizing fresh, quality ingredients and presenting them in a way that excites the senses. Our well stocked bars that also feature regional craft beers on draft makes Tavern on South a favorite spot to meet friends for a refreshing beverage. Our knowledgeable and approachable staff is genuinely happy you’ve come, and dedicated to having you visit with us frequently.

Our two-​story, brick building built in 1910 features a warm, inviting interior that includes a bar and outdoor dining on both levels. The 60-​seat second level deck that looks out to the downtown skyline is the best seat in Indy and perfect for catching some sun over the lunch hour or dining with your friends on a beautiful Indiana evening. Plus, we have plenty of complimentary on-​site parking!

We’ve been proudly serving the Indianapolis community since 2010, and we look forward to many more years to come!

Located in the shadow of Lucas Oil Stadium and just a short walk from Victory Field as well as the Convention Center and downtown business district, we enjoy serving locals as well as visitors and both our lunch and dinner menus have seasonally inspired selections. The culinary staff loves that we continually revise these menus every 2 – 3 months.
