Went there last night with my cuzzos. Never had Somalian food before this experience. The food was delicious. The flavors were amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the starters. Normally you go to a restaurant and you receive complimentary bread and butter or chips and salsa and water while you peruse through the menu. Here, you receive salad with tasty dressing, lentil soup, a pitcher of homemade lemonade and a pitcher of mango juice. We still ordered appetizers, but the starters were amazing! I ordered the salmon dish with rice. So yummy. I forgot what my cousins ordered but they did enjoy the appetizer sampler. All in all, this may be my new favorite restaurant and I highly recommend it to you if you’re considering this place! Oh, and the people are very hospitable and kind. I’ll be going back for sure!

This place is incredible! First time having Ethiopian food and the food is tasty, super fresh and amazingly flavorful! We ordered an appetizer, and an entrée, and even before the food arrived we were given pineapple juice, and a delicious soup. Highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for nothing less than delicious food! The location is not ideal but I have no problem driving back for this quality of food

Easy & plenty of parking. Food is cooked by people who considered this their own cultural cuisine. They are friendly, and although there is nothing fancy about this place– it does look clean. I ordered the chicken kebab with the choice of Somalian spaghetti — to go. They were nice enough to tell me that it would be 8min wait and asked me if it was ok. I ordered Somalian coffee, but they told me they had none today. However, he immediately offered a complimentary cup of Somalian hot tea. Very Good! If you enjoy hot drinks with interesting cinnamon spices this is a must. I added the sampler appetizer to my order, and although I was told they didn’t have it today because the were short of one chef for the day — they were so nice to explain that I didn’t mind not been able to get it at all. The customers are friendly to each other(strangers talk across the restaurant to each other on their own language). It didn’t make me feel out-of-place. It just made me anticipate my food even more. One thing about the location… When the sun begins to set, it blasts it’s heat on the front windows which undermines the a/c a bit. But, it’s NOT a deal breaker. Note: portions are huge.

This whole in the wall was amazing. Abdul served us two pretty awesome chicken and beef dishes and something stuffed with ground beef as appetizer. Tried the typical juices as well and liked them too. I say go for it!

Really amazing chicken and rice dish. Best East African food I have ever had. The owners are awesome as well. One of the owners was the star in the movie, «Captain Phillip». I enjoyed the food it was really, really good I’m sending all my clients and friends to my new restaurant of choice.

My first time experience was great. It was a welcoming atmosphere & I was greeted right when I walked in. Wasn’t sure what to order so I asked for the chef special, which was delicious & I suggest you order some sumbusa while waiting on your meal there’re the best
