History

Established in 1995.

The concept of Morgan’s Eloquent Design came out of a necessity, after the passing of dad in 1991 and mom in 1996 and seeing what was offered in the way of printing for the Memorial Keepsakes (Obituaries) for our loved ones; we knew we wanted more. Being in the printing industry for over 20 years at the time, we also knew there was a better way to offer a complete package including: layout, typesetting, design, formatting, help with writing/​composing the obituary, scanning & editing pictures, printing, bindery and more… Morgan’s Eloquent Designs was born in 1995, in a home office. Our first commercial location was established in 2002 in Los Angeles on Slauson Avenue. In 2006, we moved to our present location at 1100 West Florence Avenue, Inglewood, CA 90 301. We continue to grow, in technology and experience — helping families with patience, care and understanding… so they do not have to be up all night printing the keepsakes/​obituaries when the service is the next day —

Maria M.

Manager

Maria is a loving, caring and charming young lady, who gets the job done. She makes our environment and families feel welcome and comfortable with their choice of Morgan’s Eloquent Designs. Once you talk to her you feel as though you have known her your whole life. She is also great at her position, taking in orders, helping families will the order of service and with photos choices for just the right look. She takes the time to listen to the family’s desires and concerns about color, designs, pictures, proofing, finishing time for pick-​up or delivery.

Her secret titles are: head family counselor & the ray of sunshine of Morgan’s Eloquent Designs. We love her as well as our clients/​families. Maria is our go to person for anything concerning a Memorial Keepsake as well any other questions or concerns.

What a wonderful Job they did on my grandmothers obituary. Maria was such a doll. She listened my requests, concerns and offered some good suggestions of her own. She was professional and the turn around time for the proof came quick as well. My family and I was truly pleased with their work and not one mistake was made in the obituary.
If you need obit services for a funeral or any other invitation or flyers made I would definitely recommend this place.

Thank you Maria for your outstanding service. I used this company for my grandmother’s home going service and the obituaries where the talk of the service. Everyone just said how nice they where and design of the paper was sooooo beautiful.
Its already hard dealing with the lost of a love one and preparing for the service is even harder. After walking out of a place that was very unprofessional, walking into Morgan’s Eloquent felt like home. Maria greeted us with a smile and assurance that we would be well taken care. In her smile and laugher she made our family feel so comfortable that we were making the right decision to do business with them.
Price was right for me. Thanks again Maria!!!

I don’t know if the words I have will suffice to measure how outstanding the service support and product is here.
Everyone believes their program (obituary) for a family member should represent the footprint of that person’s life. For my father, I wanted something that represented who he was in totality as a human being.
As a sidebar, those reading this should know that people of color have a rabid interest in obituaries. We can’t even get settled in our seats until we get at least one copy. Although sister so and so who is passing them out holds on to them, rationing them out ‘one per family’, you feel like you have the holy grail in your hand if you’ve managed to get what usually runs out at a memorial service — the coveted obituary. Don’t try and figure out the rhyme or reason to it. It’s just what we do.
I found them on Unilocal.The reviews, although not very many, ran the same theme. The level of customer service, and the output of the product.
I did talk to the famous — or maybe infamous — Maria. She made me feel at ease during the process, and despite having over eight revisions (because I was in a time crunch — though no fault of Maria’s). I left it to the experts, and after offering some suggestions, they produced the most extraodinary high quality obituaries — with thank you notes (which we didn’t see until later), and envelopes TO BOOT!
The cost of production was for me, WELL behind the bell curve of the SUPERIOR service and production provided. Now, this doesn’t mean that I was ‘hooked up’. Don’t y’all go in there asking for champagne products on a beer budget. However, I will say their prices are fair.
I smiled, hoping my father would be proud of us for giving people a program which truly represented who he was.

Talk about professional, top quality, user friendly informative and comforting at the onset. Walked me throw a few hiccups, reassuring me alone the way. I know there are DYI programs available, but MED took something so important off my plate during the hard time for me and my family. My sister’s memorial program are beautiful. The quality of the paper and cropped picture was perfect. All this at a reasonable cost with an added bonus of thank you cards. To top things off it was speedy. If you are need of a print service give them a try you won’t be disappointed

Had to revisit this review after finding that they had included Thank You notes with my mom’s picture and a touching poem inside. These will make expressing appreciation to those who sent Mass cards, flowers, etc. so much nicer and easier.

I can not believe no one has reviewed this place yet!
I knew I was going to need program for my mothers funeral service. I had seen a friends’ fathers and was impressed, it was extremely professional looking and polished, the paper was a good weight and didn’t feel flimsy, and the design was unique.
When I made my initial call I spoke with Maria who was comforting and reassuring, she told me to go to the web site and start putting my info in. What a novel concept they have there! There is a template you fill in regarding virtually EVERYTHING about anything that has to do with the service. When I had my appointment to meet with Rochelle and Maria they were a little busy with other customers however I never felt like I was being ignored.
The obituary I had was too long for the program format I wanted. I must say I was not told about the different styles of programs they had to offer so make sure you find out what is available; their program options are varied, beautiful, and quite elegant. Maria let me use the computer to delete some of the obituary content so it could fit on the page and when it came to choosing picture she was right there offering her professional opinion.
My mother was into angels and African Violets. Rochelle worked her magic and came out with a cover that had understated African Violets on it; the flowers did in no way take away from the pictures on the front and back cover. The center page was filled with pictures and again Rochelle worked her magic and found clip art of angels.
Through this process I was able to say what I liked and didn’t and what changes I wanted to see. By the time I left I had a full color proof of the program in hand!
Rochelle has perfected this process to the point that it is stress free at a time when stress is all you are experiencing. I have used other printers and this is by far the best experience I have ever had with one.
