These guys are awesome. I first started working with Steve Janz about 8 years ago when he got my system up and running. It included programming my universal remote, and setting me up for music in multiple rooms and the patio. He knows what he is doing, he’s easy to work worth, and he provides great recommendations. I’ve moved a couple times since then, and he has followed me to set me up each time. His guys came out this week to set me up once again. I was able to get an appointment very quickly, and they did a great job. Everyone I have met at Technospeak is knowledgeable and friendly. An awesome combination. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs help, whether it is a small system(I have downsized quite a bit), or a large scale project, this is the company you should turn to.

Technospeak is terrific. I was referred by a friend years ago and finally got around to calling. Everyone we interacted with throughout the process was helpful, reasonable and professional. Steve Janz and his staff are intent on making sure the customers are satisfied and clearly understand how the installed system operates. Landon was amazing. We highly recommend this company.

We purchased an updated TV and wished to have it installed in the same location and needed it to be connected to cable box, DVD, and video game console. Keep in mind the installation was already in place, except for the new TV. We were aware different cables(HDMI) were going to be necessary. Because the cabling was run through the wall from the AV cabinet to the wall location, the technicians felt it was necessary to break open the wall again to replace the cables. All well and good until they left. We found the set-up was not working properly and I was left with a huge wad of unused cables sticking out of the wall with no place to go. I called in another firm and interestingly they surveyed the situation, found we needed another HDMI to the DVD that was not run, and also found a conduit in the wall. That meant the cutting into the wall this firm did was not necessary at all. The new firm used the conduit to run the HDMI cable that was needed, shoved the other cables into the wall so they were not in the way, and disconnected all the extraneous stuff. It was a clean installation in a couple of hours. No big mess. Now I paid Technospeak $ 800 to break into my wall and not really clean up the cabling, then had to replaster and paint. All of that could have been avoided if they had paid attention and seen the conduit in the wall. Suggest you consider using another firm who is more knowledgeable and more interested in the easy solution, not the costly one.

I called Tecnospeak in desperation and feelings of great failure as I had failed at my DIY installation. Steve reassured me that I should not feel like a failure, but my situation was common. He sent a crew out the next day at the exact time he promised. They assessed the situation, gave me a reasonable estimate(they could have easily taken advantage of me in my desperate, frustrated state) and quickly started the job. Finished it in about an hour and now I am set up for the present and the future.

These guys are great. Cutting age technology, super service, great employees. These guys delivered a fully automated home at a fair price with no hassles. Every contractor experience should be like this one.

I just hired Technospeak for some office wiring for my computer system and could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the team of guys that came to work here. I was actually shocked that they called to let me know they were on their way, that they let us know what time certain people would have their work interrupted, and that they even vacuumed after they finished. Very respectful! I’ll plan on using them again in the future.

Steve and his team have done an amazing job coming in to our space, which features a gonglomoration of electronics, all insalled by different people at different times and somehow magically getting them all to work together as harmoniously as their ill-fitting robot brains can manage. He and his crew are extremely knowlegeable, patient, and professional. — WT

My AV setup was a bit complicated. The Technospeak people came out and set it up and we encountered a few problems with equipment(not Technospeak’s fault). They came back three times until everything was perfect. When I evaluate service… this is what I look for. How is the follow-up? They were professional, caring and good-natured. When they finished, everything worked perfectly. Three different people worked here. Each was extremely competent and all were committed to getting the job done right. Ironically, with all the time they put in, they ended up charging me less than the original quote. I would recommend them heartily. They know their stuff and are committed to customer satisfaction.

Steve, Erin is my girlfriend, she wrote the initial post as I really didn’t want to. I had a great initial experience with you, found you to be helpful and attentive through the the full sales process(and I know I am not an easy client as I have a lot of questions). You and your staff were clean and friendly through the install(the dry wall and patching was a bit messy but I knew to expect that). The first night when the system began to fail you were attentive to my questions and even replied to my email at 9pm. About a month latter, after I had done all the diagnosing you had requested you even came out to the house… straightened the TV and since it was not replicating the issue I had been having since the first night left it at that. The same issue with the picture intermittently cutting out proceed and additional problems arose. Your only solution at that point was for me to pay you $ 250 an hour to come over and try and figure it. I understand that if it is a new problem you may charge. I do not understand how that applies to an issue that started the day you installed the system. I want to be clear, Steve was helpful and seems to be a truly nice guy, the issue is that though attention was given at first no solution was offered. Again if it had been a months after the install I would understand, my problems originated the same night he installed my system. I have resolved the issue on my own and found a new company to take care of my additional needs as for me the followup is what service is all about. PS the blu ray player works fine… now.

Steve from Technospeak came out to set up a home theater system for our place. To be honest, his work looked ok, we didn’t ask for anything crazy. Steve was nice when he first came out but when there were issues starting the first night with the work that should have been a major clue in to Technospeak. Literally the first night it was set up there were issues. Nice but bad follow up; it was like pulling teeth to get him to come out once. Bottom line: if you just need basic set– up and don’t need help or customer service after everything is set up and installed then give Technospeak a call. I’ll let the person who recommended Technospeak to me in the first place to stop calling Steve as well.
