Inver Grove Honda

I traded in my Kia for a used Xterra here back in 2013. I had no issues whatsoever with the deal, the professionalism of the staff and the vehicle.
Fast forward to earlier this year in May. My 24 yr old college student daughter needed a new car as hers was literally falling apart. We went in and test drove a new 2015 Honda Civic. Traded in her junk heap and I purchased the vehicle for her. No issues, no complaints. The sales rep did his job. I did get the 1.9% dealer incentive on her car as well.
I would return there again.

We just got our third Honda from Inver Grove Honda and as always it was a seamless process! Our salesman Randy Lee is always super helpful, efficient and respectful of our time. The rest of of the IGH staff is friendly and always makes sure each customer has a great experience. This includes even their smallest customers, our two kids always also love visiting. What sets IGH apart from other Honda dealers? Legendary customer care! Every time we visit our experience has been better then the last. Thanks for another great one Inver Grove Honda!

My wife and I walked in to the dealership with twin newborns and a 5yr old in tow. They were very accomodating to our situation and made us feel comfortable.
We were pleased with the upfront pricing. We looked at 8 different Honda dealers and IG Honda had the best price. They were also very generous with the trade in value for our old vehicle
They were also very accomodating when we signed the final papers. Since I didn’t want to drag my family into the dealership again, they offered to drop off my car at any location of my choice. Per my request, the drive to my work, we signed the papers and away I went. It was the easiest car purchase I’ve ever had.

My experience buying my daughters first car with Jamie L. at Honda Inver Grove was beyond my expectations. Jamie was kind, knowledgeable and so caring.

We stopped by to see and test drive a car that their website shows they have in the inventory. They were busy because it was Saturday, understandably. However, we’ve been kept waiting while sales folks appeared to be available and were chatting around casually. I had to go to the secretary a few times to request some attention.
Finally, they send us a salesman (named Al) who denied that they have the vehicle in stock (he said it was sold a couple of days ago), he also claimed that there were no other similar vehicle either. As we were walking out the door we saw the car parked literally in front of the door (yes, still available and there were plenty of similar vehicles available too).
We went back to talk to the guy but he wasn’t available, after another round of waiting we were given another salesman who appeared to be in a hurry and was in no mood to answer questions. He hurried through his speeches about the basics of the car and when we asked for a test drive he went in send us, yet, a 3^rd guy who’s apparently a new employee and has absolutely no clue about the vehicle or the line.
I understand the dealership being busy (no different than the other dealers we visited in the area on the same day) but it was very disappointing not to be able to meet a single salesperson (out of 3) who is knowledgeable. More importantly, it was very disturbing to not find a single staff who remotely seemed to care. They seem way too busy to care for a stupid customer like me.
I hope my experience was an exception but I will gladly recommend this dealership to all my enemies. Absolutely terrible experience.

I was so pleased by the wonderful service I received this morning at Inver Grove Honda. I bought a new car from them this summer and went in for my first oil change/​tire rotation today. In the past I have dealt with many car shops pressuring me to upgrade to a better oil and a whole list of updates (filters, fluids, etc.) that they think I need to have done. There was none of that here — I just got to sit in the lobby and enjoy the coffee and wifi while I waited. The fact that they are open at 7 am so I could easily stop on my way to work was great. Also, the complimentary car was a nice touch. I will definitely be coming back to Inver Grove Honda for all my service needs!

I didn’t buy my Honda here, but it is where i take it for everything and anything. Good prices and they take care of you. A great lobby to do some work in a laptop cubby or homework (which i did). Very friendly and courteous.

John McCorkel helped me lease my first brand new car this weekend. I had lots of questions as a first timer, and he was more than happy to walk me through several weeks of questions via email before I went in to complete the lease. I was extremely happy with the level of service as well as the deal I got on the lease. I feel I got high-​quality service even though I was basically leasing the cheapest car possible.

I don’t write many reviews, but after my experience at Inver Grove Honda, I feel compelled to write one.
I bought a new Odyssey here, and I felt like it had issues with wind noise around 40 MPH. My wife and I noticed it on the drive home from the dealership, so I brought it back that night to have the tires balanced. When that didn’t resolve it, the dealership really worked with me to reach a resolution that went above and beyond what I expected. It was one of those situations where you look at the options they had with me and my complaints about the vehicle, and they chose the option that showed me it wasn’t just about selling me one vehicle but more about earning my business long-​term. So I’m writing just to compliment Brian (who manages this dealership) and John (who is the service manager). They both went to bat for me with Honda corporate, and they treated me like an important customer whose problem was important. I know this dealership sells a ton of vehicles, but they treated me like an individual, and they went above and beyond as a dealership even when they had no legal obligation to do that.
When someone does the right thing (particularly a car dealership), it deserves recognition. Thanks!

Bought my first car in 12 years and was so happy with the comfort and service they provided me. The dealer I worked with was Brian Prouty and he was extremely friendly and personable. He never made me feel uncomfortable or unsure about what I was doing and ensured me that everything was in place correctly. I am very happy with Honda and I plan and having my family members purchase from here in the future.

I am thinking of selling my 2004 Honda Accord and brought it to the dealer to see what they would offer me. I walked in having done my homework on the Kelley Blue Book value of my car for both personal sale and trade-​in/​dealer sale. Inver Grove Honda lowballed me by about $ 1,000, claiming that the Blue Book value was lower than I knew it to be. They informed me that my car was of a lower quality (in terms of body/​repairs) than I know it to be, based on the opinions of several other car aficionados. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your car for trade-​in or sale unless you aren’t concerned about getting what it’s worth.

I didn’t buy my vehicle here, but I am quite sure I will with the next one.
Brought my car in for some warranty work. Uberly friendly, efficient (got me out the door & on my way to work in my loaner in less than 15 minutes), & kept me informed during the day about the progress of the repairs.
Upon return to pick up my car, I was happily surprised by a freshly washed car and a flower to take home with me. Nice touch, IG Honda!

My boyfriend and I lost the keys to his car. After a 20 hour drive home from Montréal. After this 10″ snowstorm that just happened. His car was parked on the street.
I called Inver Grove Honda and spoke to Rhys, who told me that he could make us a key ASAP. An hour (travel time + 5 minutes to make the key) and $ 8 later, we had a key and moved our car just before the plows came through. :)

Bought a used care from here a few weeks ago after a deal at a different dealer fell through. I got the price I wanted and the finance team was really helpful even though I had a trade-​in from out of state. They did a great job on detailing and waxing my car, which I’m very picky about (I detailed cars at a Lincoln dealer the summer before college). Evelyn was a great saleswoman – very friendly and not pushy at all.

Ever since moving to the twin cities I have been dropping my 2007 Honda Civic Si here for the regular services usually the oil changes, transmission fluid changes (part of the regular maintenance minder A, B services), wind shield wiper blade change etc. Check with the service advisor for discount coupons and he usually discounts the price by about 10% (mostly if the total service cost touches around 75 bucks). The prices here are pretty reasonable compared to what I used to pay in Columbus, OH. They sometimes take extra time (waited almost 45mins-​1hr a couple times) for a simple oil change and that is reason for the 4 stars. They do a complementary car wash and are decently good at it. Not sure about how much they charge for all the other maintenance’s and this review is only in regard to the regular A and B maintenance’s.

I am closer to the other two south suburban Honda dealerships — and I happily drive to Inver Grove Honda to have my car serviced. I am treated with respect and consideration by the service advisors (Katie is always cheerful when talking to us about service options). The management at IGH has a great team in their service department as well as up front. We’ve bought a couple Hondas there and look forward to more in the future. Thank you, IGH.

Ever since moving to the twin cities and finding this place, it’s where my girlfriend and I have been going to get all the work done on our Honda Fit. The first thing you notice when taking your car to be serviced there is the 3 drive in garage doors where you pull right up to the desks of the workers, it keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They have a great lounge area while you’re waiting for the service to be finished, even a play area for kids.
The customer service is great and you get a complimentary car wash with pretty much any service. They pull your car right up to the exit from the lounge and you’re good to go! I definitely suggest them for any honda work you have to get done!!!
