What can I say? It is a liquor store. Everything was easy to find and prices were fair.

I buy my lottery tickets here for our work pools… I am changing my review and adding a couple stars because the guy who works there now is much more friendly and helpful. I actually left my iPhone here, and my mom text me, and he responded to ask her to let the owner of the phone know it was left… SO thankful! Very honest, and I appreciate that!

A liquor store in Irvine that isn’t BevMo? Sweet. Consoling myself after a long work week(not that it’s over yet), I am polishing off my Yogurtland when J wants to get some bubble gum. It’s steps away from our parking spot, so why not. Inside is a hodgepodge of stuff. Reminiscent of the fill-up stations when driving up/down the 5 between the Grapevine and 152. Loads of candy, sodas, and random magazines. Also a reasonable selection of wines and cigars for that last minute need. I find myself reaching for a Twinkie and Ding Dong at 50 cents a pop. Maybe I should call myself snakkie_fan instead of brekkie_fan? Either way, I’ll make this my new resource when the Albertsons of the world are too crowded.

Pick up a lotto ticket, a six pack, and be on your way. No, no I don’t frequent liquor stores so much that they know me by name. Heck, I don’t even think there are many more liquor stores in Irvine. But writing about The Still reminded me about this place. I like these types of stores just because I can pick up a beer, sunflower seeds, and Twinkies in 30 seconds flat. Just about the most unhealthy stuff for you is within a few dozen feet. And something about that just screams why this is the greatest nation on earth. And if you don’t agree, then I’m sure you hate pancakes, too. And you all know how I feel about pancake haters(see my review on Original Pancake House).
