When it comes to third party phone repair shops, I’ve had many bad experiences. I’ve had shady characters promise me warranty, and disappear when I needed it. I’ve had screens shatter on me when the phone never fell. Nonetheless, I gave it one more chance last week when my phone broke again. A friend recommended Pelican to me, and in spite, I decided to try it one final time. And so Pelican became a test – and they passed. The employees are courteous, and the business is legitimate and endearing. If your phone is cracked or broken, don’t go anywhere else.

Pelican Mobile Repairs is by far one of the most valuable connections i have come across in a very long time. These guys are an extremely beneficial contact to have in your back pocket, for the long run. Three Reasons.
1. They are knowledgeable. I noticed this immediately. Anyone these days can learn to replace a screen from a YouTube video… but not many can identify and diagnose problems by taking one look at the inside of a phone. Not only will they tell you exactly what the issue is, they will offer a solution and do their best to help fix it, even if it is beyond a simple screen repair.
2. They are trustworthy. I had the pleasure of meeting Armin. He is genuine, and helpful, yet upfront, honest, and direct to the point. He also went the extra mile for my family, and drove out of his way in between meetings to help my dad fix his phone. This was after he had fixed mine. It would have been easy for him to ask me to schedule an appointment for another day, instead, he made it a point to help out.
3. They use real parts. Most people who offer to fix a phone these days use cheap screens, and low quality equipment to cut costs. Pelican Mobile Repairs uses high quality pieces, and although their word would have been good enough for me, they will give you a guarantee. Armin checked back days after to make sure everything was still great with my new screen.
