This firm is top notch in results and communication. They go above and beyond expectations, especially helping out with questions and concerns, even months after the case is complete. If you are in trouble with the law, especially DUI, GET THIS FIRM.

I would recommend this law office if you need legal help. I hired them primarily to take everything off my shoulders. It was nice to have someone else taking care of everything for me.
Chris and Kathryn are really great. Christina was helpful too. They constantly let me know I could call if I ever needed anything even though I really didn’t need much as everything was dealt with.
The outcome wasn’t amazing, it’s most likely exactly what I would have received without the law office’s help, but again, just not having to deal with anything myself made it worth it and they were really good about timing things as well which I wouldn’t have had control over on my own.

At first I found myself reluctant to write a review solely based on people knowing my criminal history, but after what this firm did for me I felt that it was justified. I didn’t have any correspondence with Mr Landgren, however, I did have the pleasure with speaking and dealing with Kathryn, Mike and Samir. They were all awesome and pleasant to deal with and really helpful throughout a painfully stressful process. I’m not a bad guy by any means, I made a mistake and was pulled over for allegedly texting and was cited for DUI, despite the fact I was not texting and blew a low BAC and it was my second offense in five years. Initially when I was doing research online I found that I was definitely going to pay the price for this… I was horrified to say the least. I was in shock and wasn’t able to sleep for weeks, as I remembered how much of a painful process it was from my last experience.
I was researching attorneys online and stumbled across
which is like the Angies List for attorneys (it’s the equivalent you’ll get to represent you at court, a plumber) and I noticed that my incompetent schmuck of a lawyer that I used on my last case was highly rated and regarded for this particular type of charge. I thought two things: one, this site is full of shit and it’s like Instagram, the more people that follow you, the more likes you’re going to get and you’ll end up on the «trending page». Two, there’s noway that this guy had a moral epiphany and turned a leaf. After seeing that I was totally disheartened and was preparing for the worse, because if that guy is number one and I’m seeing these type of results online for my infraction what the hell do I need a lawyer for, why not use a public defender?
I sat on it for a few days, and somehow Unilocal never crossed my mind, I always figured it to be generally for food, outings and night life type things. Unilocal doesn’t delete reviews unless they’re egregiously incorrect and not even applicable to the type of service they provide. So I read the reviews, researched them on Avvo (which they have an average rating because it’s a popularity game on there it seems, kind of like
, people that don’t know you can endorse just cus they’re on your network…), they weren’t on
(which my last attorney was reported on several times) and I went with my gut and went with them.
If you go on a firms website and notice that they’ll handle all type of legal matters for you, then they probably will. However if you want results and for a specific citation then go with a firm that practices primarily in that area, this firm, all they do are DUI’s. My attorney’s Mike and Samir have spoke with me on several occasions regarding my case, and in fact, I have a better deal on the table on a second offense than I did on my first (of course take that with a grain of salt as cases will vary along with evidence to support it). AND they’re not done yet. They have fully explained the judicial system to me and are allowing me to make educated decisions based on my case and creating outcome scenarios for the future. I have several options that they’ve provided, and they’re all positive and nothing like I read online prior to consulting with them. They are also very accommodating, Kathryn, the office person is very prompt with email and answering any questions I have and getting somebody to call me back with my questions.
DUI’s are a total money maker for the state. California has leveraged the police and highway patrol to view this as a main revenue generator. Cops will cite and ticket you the chance they get, and if you find yourself in a predicament such as this then I highly recommend this firm and its employees. I’m noway shape or form a «drunk» driver or an alcoholic. I’ll have a few beers here and there, but I made a mistake. Now I’m financially and mentally I’m paying for it, but this firm has helped me get through it.

Samir, one of the attorneys at this office, was extremely helpful when discussing my case. I initially hired a different law firm last year to help assist me and they did not nearly give me as much information as Samir did within only 5 minutes. He told me immediately my case had not been filed and he had already looked it up during my 30 second hold time. I sincerely appreciate his attention to detail with my abnormal case. Without his help and knowledge, I would have been calling my other attorney office wondering blindly what was on my record. I highly recommend this office even for a consolation at the very least.

Getting a DUI was the most terrible thing that’s ever happend to me and I feel very lucky to have had Michael there to explain everything clearly to me… I would have been so lost trying to navigate through that whole process by myself. I was always able to reach someone at the office ANY time I had a question and all the staff here was always helpful and pleasant. I also felt comfortable in knowing that I was getting the best representation possible. I didn’t get the outcome I was hoping for, but then again I was also hoping for a miracle. I know without a doubt that these attorneys did everything they could have for my case.

I needed some legal advice and I was scouring the net for a good lawyer in case I needed one. I looked and looked and called and called, some places said they had no idea what to do, other places referred me around, and I was feeling hopeless and sad until I found Todd Landgren’s law office on Unilocal.I gave it a try and called. Michael Phillips talked to me on the phone and he is the most wonderful human being on the planet!!! He listened to me and gave me some next steps to take, and then reviewed my information and got back to me the same day. I was really worried and losing sleep over this but he basically clarified the situation for me and now I feel SO. MUCH. BETTER!!! I am a pretty good guy who had a really bad night and got myself in a lot of trouble. I have a great job that would have been fired from if I did not get my charges dismissed or reduced to misdemeanors with no jail time. I explained my predicament to Mr. Landgren and he assured me that he would do whatever it took to get this resolved. From beginning to end his office staff and Mr. Landgren himself were a pleasure to work with. My case we resolved with the results I needed. His fees were reasonable and well worth the money. Todd Landgren took my case December of 2012. This was my second offense and I was a bit nervous about my situation. I was looking at mandatory jail time and no driver license for at least a year. I had contacted a few other attorneys in the area but I got the best vibe and sense of professionalism from him.
Within a couple of weeks from my arrest I had a temporary license until my DMV trail. During my criminal court case, Todd was able to find the loopholes and technical errors of the incident and bring them to the attention of the judge, which ultimately led to my case being dismissed AND NO JAIL TIME! Following the results the court not filing any charges, he was also able to get my driver license reinstated upon DMV appeal and my record cleared from this incident!
Todd was honest with me from my initial consultation and always returned my phone calls. His years of experience and knowledge of the local courts made me trust him even more. This guy will really go to bat for you!

Todd Landgren helped me with my Mothers criminal case (restraining order violation/​harassment). It was immediately apparent that this man had a lot of experience and knew exactly what to do. I spoke with several attorneys who quoted me considerable legal fees. I saved thousands of dollars by going to Mr. Langren. I dont know what i would have done without him. I would recommend him to anyone who is seeking a criminal defense attorney.

Todd gets 5 stars because he consistently tells it like it is. Todd knew my case was pretty much impossible to win, so he was very realistic about what he could do for me and what I should be charged for an attorney. For the record, I did not find any rates that were even close to what I got with Todd.
Todd found some inconsistencies in the police report and said that the DMV case could be dropped if the cop who wrote the report doesn’t show up. Unfortunately, the cop did eventually show up, so that was that.
He also advised me for my court case that, even though my BAC level would usually be prescribed a 9-​month Alcohol Awareness course, he might be able to get me a 6-​month or possibly even a 3-​month course. I received a call from Jerry Dyer (Legal Assistant) saying that Todd had managed to get me a Level I Alcohol Awareness class meaning… 3 MONTHS INSTEAD OF THE USUAL 9!!! I was ELATED. :-)
The rest is yet to come and at this point I can only say good things about both Todd AND Jerry. I received timely emails, phone calls, and mailings with extremely useful and informative instructions.
Here’s my advice after dealing with this beast:
If you got a DUI, don’t wallow… call Todd and get it figured out. He will tell you exactly what you need to know, what he expects from your case, and best and worse case scenarios. He will also charge you reasonably.
It is a depressing and terrible thing to get a DUI and seems like an insurmountable issue. BUT… if you get some help and get things moving you’ll be better off than you were and feel like you’re being a productive member of society… as opposed to a hood rat.
Call Todd, good luck, and TAKE A CAB!!!
