we just moved into our new home and needed to replace the carpet in the entire house to engineer wood. we got serval estimates and to our disappointment it was out of our budget. Eric suggested laminate, we when to the store to check out the quality and we were sold. the whole experience with Eric was wonderful! he knew what he was doing. all the others guys took twice as long as Eric to give the estimates. they offered to replace the base boards in area where we didn’t have the flooring put in! Eric was so professional and friendly AND him and his crew did ALL they said they would do in the time that they promised! i had no such luck with any other vendors for the other projects in our house. thank you Eric for making this as easy as possible! i would recommend him to all my friends and family!!!

Eric and his crew are the best-​period! The reviews speak for themselves. Forget about other laminate and vinyl floor contractors and just call Venetian Flooring Systems! Other contractors we called for quotes wanted to nickel and dime us for everything! Eric was very clear with his quote and included everything in one easy to understand quote. Working with Eric was the best decision we made throughout our remodel. We let him know we were in a rush and he fit us in his calendar right away for us to visit his showroom, he also went out of his way to schedule our installation as quickly as possible due to our time crunch. He said it would only take one day for installation and even scheduled extra people to ensure the work was complete in 1 day.
On installation day Eric showed up with his crew right on time. He introduced us to his project manager and off we went. At the end of the day he called us and did a final walk through with us. Did I mention we did about 800 sq ft worth of flooring! These guys were clean and their workmanship was second to none. We are very happy with our floor and even a few weeks after our install Eric called and asked how everything was going! That’s just the kind of customer service you get. We are so happy we chose Venetian Flooring as our flooring contractor! We will add some pictures when our home is done.

3500 sq ft of engineered hardward installation flawlessly finished a few days ago and personal daily detailed inspections increase our satisfaction for the professional craftsmanship in layout, transitions, and challenging levels/​corners. Many thanks to Eric and the excellent crew.

We chose VFS based on their excellent ratings and they delivered beyond our expectations. We replaced the carpet and wood floor in our dining room, living room, master bedroom, closets and stairs. From beginning to end, Eric and Andy (our project manager) answered every question promptly and in great detail. The conduct and appearance of the crew was very professional and they cleaned up at the end of day to keep the dust and debris to a minimum. The quality of their work was outstanding; we couldn’t believe they were able to finish in three days. The materials are high-​quality at an excellent price.

You can see all the reviews, they speak for themselves. However, the work and product from Venetian is so good that I was compelled to post my own review. I am picky and rarely give 5 star Unilocal reviews but these guys earned it.
We had a friend who used them for their living room. We had our entire home, sans bedrooms redone with Venetian. Selection at store was great, price was more than fair and customer service was great. If I could complain about anything it’s that these guys are so busy their lead time is long.
Day of installation was prompt and communication great. Guys had to remove existing carpet and hardwood before they started. Demo went smooth and half the house was done day 1 (1000 of 2000 sqft). Day 2 was fast, installers were amazing! Every transition was clean and looks great, closets, stairs, carpet, tile, etc.
We have waited a long time to get our floors done and are thrilled with our choice in color, product and company. Could not have asked for anything better.

One year later, our floor is still great, we can’t even remember how it looked before. We called Eric to get a replacement strip for the doorway and he answered our call immediately, found what We needed in stock and then he delivered it to our home — free of charge — the same day. I don’t know another contractor that would remotely come close to that level of customer service.

This is our 2^nd time doing business with them and they didn’t disappoint us.
They did such a great job putting laminates on my living room and bedrooms in my 1^st house that we’ve decided for them to do the floors again on our 2^nd home using the new Paradigm waterproof vinyl laminate.
Even though their workmanship is absolutely amazing their price is very very very competitive. I didn’t even get another quote from other companies.
They are very accommodating, too. When we had scheduling problems with our other contractors during our renovation, Eric and Chris figured out ways to get the job done in a timely manner.
Everyone who saw our floors loved it and wanted to know who did them.
I would highly recommend Venetian Flooring System to anybody. I know for sure if we moved to our 3^rd home, I will call them again.

After a roof leak that damaged our existing hardwood floors, we were in the market for brand new hardwood flooring for the entire downstairs of our home. We found Venetian Flooring on Unilocal and after reading so many great reviews, decided to call VFS for a consultation and estimate. Throughout the entire process Eric was always professional, prompt and helped educate us along the way. We were more than happy with how easy it was to communicate with Eric who was always courteous and transparent with us. Our next appointment was at their showroom in Lake Forest and there we were able to nail down which hardwood floors we loved. We took a few samples home with us and made our final decision. Again, Eric promptly met us at our home the following day and we signed our contract then.
The team was fast, efficient and we are EXTREMELY happy with the results and outcome of the hardware installation. They went above and beyond and we could not be more satisfied with our experience and generous customer service that Venetian Flooring provided. Thank you again for transforming our home!

We recently had hardwood flooring installed in our whole house by Venetian Flooring Systems. The results exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier! The entire experience, from start to finish, was smooth and easy.
Eric came to do an estimate and I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and friendly manner. As other reviewers have mentioned, 5 inch baseboards were included as a special (even in the bathrooms which we did not have re-​done!) and he quoted us an out-​the-​door price range (depending on which wood we chose) with no hidden costs, which was very reassuring. We shopped around a bit before deciding on VFS but most places were difficult and needed a lot of coordination between purchasing the flooring, delivery, and installation. Maybe VFS was not the cheapest option, but it was definitely the most hassle-​free. Eric took a 10% deposit. (The rest was all paid at the end of the job.) We had to schedule 1 – 2 months out because they were fairly busy.
We next met Eric at the studio and picked out a few samples. The selection was excellent with beautiful finishes and quality. He allowed us to take a few very large palettes home to try out before deciding. Since we already knew what look we wanted and had seen a lot of cheaper wood from other stores, we did not have much trouble deciding.
The installation took 5 days, which was exactly the time frame Eric had given me from the start. Andrew and his crew worked hard and were extremely easy to communicate with. They kept everything as clean as possible and started with the bedrooms so we could stay in the house if we chose to. My husband and I are not experienced with flooring or any type of remodeling, and they took the time to explain everything and reassure us along the way. Most importantly, the results are amazing! We had our handyman check things out afterwards and he commented that the stairs were some of the best work he had seen from flooring guys. Even our neighbors were telling us how diligent and considerate the workers were and how beautiful our floors look.
Overall, highly recommended, so much so that I could not NOT write them a glowing Unilocal review!

When I informed a competitor flooring guy that we would be going with Venetian instead of his company, he asked why. I said that the estimates were very similar, but Venetian would include the baseboards as well. He shook his head and said, «Man, those guys are just giving those baseboards away.» Ha! I said it was one of the deciding factors.

My husband and I had an exceptional experience with VFS and could not be happier with the outcome of our brand new floors!
From the beginning, Eric was prompt in answering my initial questions via email and setting up a time to come measure our home. Upon gathering his measurements, he gave us an «out-​the-​door» price quote which included tearing out and disposing of the existing floors, cost of new materials, padding and laminate installation, and new 5″ baseboards. He quoted us a range (dependent on the material we would choose). He was not pushy at all and encouraged us to shop around before committing to hire anyone.
When I went in to visit the warehouse, Eric was great at helping me pick out the colors and materials for our laminate floor. I initially thought I was going to pick a dark walnut or grey color but I’m so glad I followed Eric’s suggestion on a mid-​tone natural wood (Santa Fe). The lighter color goes so well with our wall color and also makes the space seem much more spacious. Once I chose the material I wanted, Eric was able to give me an exact number quote (which was within the range we discussed originally). I put down a 10% deposit and locked in an installation date.
On the day of installation, I met with Eric in the morning to do a walk through of the home before the crew arrived. He made sure to discuss which direction I’d like the laminate to be installed and he gave me an overview of what to expect that day.
The crew came in at 9:30am and were cleaning up when I came back home at 7pm. Our condo is about 1200 square feet and they completed the job (living room, dining room, kitchen, hall, and three bedrooms) from start to finish in one day! Since we were in a time crunch trying to move in after the floors went in but before the end of the month, a quick job like this was much appreciated. Eric came back at the end of the day to do a final walk through to make sure we were happy with the job and also gave us advice on how to clean and maintain our new floors. We paid the remaining balance once the job was complete and there were absolutely no surprises.
I’ve already received so many compliments about our floors from my family and friends who helped us move in. We could not find a single edge that was not perfectly measured and installed. The 5″ baseboards throughout really highlight the floors and give it a clean, finished look. The crew even installed the new baseboards in the bathrooms even though we did not have new floors installed there!
Overall, I could not be happier with the experience I’ve had with VFS. A company like this is what 5 star reviews are reserved for. Excellent service, prompt and honest communication, and delivering on their promise. I would recommend VFS to anyone looking to upgrade their floors with no hassle and beautiful results.

Eric and his team did a great job with our flooring. They have a lot of options to choose from. I really like our choice. It brightens up with the house.
Eric works with you from beginning to the end. That was very helpful.
The floors look great but there’s a lot of these thread that comes out. You have to pull at it. Also, the base boards are good because they are 5 inches and it makes it look better. My only complaint with the base board is that the details don’t look as nice. Overall, still satisfied with our choice for the hardwood and with Venetian Flooring.

Eric was our guy as well and he and his crew did a magnificent job. We had wood flooring in our kitchen and family room and weren’t sure what to do in the dining and living room. We had cheap, worn carpeting in those rooms and decided to just continue the wood into the other rooms.
Luckily they still manufactured the existing wood and although the lot was a little different, the crew mixed and matched until it blended perfectly. The fireplace surround was done incorrectly while we were gone and Eric came by, even though he was sick, and had the work crew move the entire floor pieces around until the job was done correctly. Probably added several hours to the already completed work but Eric made sure it was done right.
These guys are pros and do fine work.

Eric was great he was always available for us and was very personable. He came by to check in on us throughout the process. He made sure we understood the nature of hardwood floors and how to care for them. I also got white risers and 5″ baseboards throughout… including all bathrooms and laundry rooms even though we didn’t get flooring done in there. The work was very quick and they cleaned up well. They never sub out their work and their employees (including manager Andy) were very professional.
In Eric’s words… although this is not the cheapest place to get floors done, you will be quite satisfied with their experienced quality of work and they never cut corners. They are the flooring specialists in all of Orange County!!! If you are perfectionists and want the best floors ever you have to work with Venetian! Eric was a pleasure to work with! Among the contractors that I’ve hired in the past several years to remodel my condo, Eric was the best by far! He has great communication skills and he delivers a quality installed product. Eric stayed in touch with us via text messages every step of the way, my first such experience with a contractor.
The first day we met Eric my wife and I both felt so comfortable with him that we didn’t even continue to get other estimates. On the day of installation Eric introduced us to Andy, his head installer, who managed the installation crew. They completed the job in one day and we were very happy with the result! Kudos to Eric and Venetian Flooring Systems! I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a quality finished product at a reasonable price!

We found Venetian Flooring through Unilocal and the TalkIrvine Message Boards. The TalkIrvine people are kind of crazy, but I figured if they universally praised this company, then it was probably worth checking it out. I’m so glad we did.
We bought a new development and of course Venetian is significantly cheaper than our builder Irvine Pacific. We really loved how familiar Eric, the sales manager, was with Irvine properties. He immediately knew which model we had, how big it was, and was able to ask appropriate questions (i.e. do you have a conservatory, do you want the storage areas done, etc.)
The only downside was that Venetian’s beautiful new showroom didn’t have all samples available yet. But I was able to find samples at place nearby. I of course changed my mind several times about what type of flooring I wanted, but Eric was very patient, answered my questions promptly, and gave me quotes immediately. Once we got the keys to our house, the crew came in and finished our house in 1.5 days during torrential downpour, cleaned everything up, and were extremely professional.
The product we chose was QuickStep Desert Oaks Planks, which is a laminate. Between the high quality product, high quality installation, and Venetian’s offering of free baseboard upgrades, the final product looks amazing and like real wood. The first thing our guests commented on when they walked in our new home was how nice the flooring looked.
Highly recommend this company.

We went with Venetian Flooring Systems for our hardwood flooring after meeting with a bunch of other reputable /​personally recommended vendors.
Overall, we were very happy and pleased with the end-​result. Eric help us to choose Provenza MoonShadow.
Floors are beautiful, quality install; we would use them again and recommend to others.

1) Most important, end product looks great, even better than Irvine model house that I checked after that
2) Eric is a very nice guy. Very professional, honest, knowledgeable and customer-​oriented
3) the crew was great and led by Andy, Hard-​working and good attention to detail. No mess around, keep quiet and work around.
4) No corners cut, and high confidence in them having done a very high quality job
5) Baseboard installation was excellent, even though that’s not supposed to be their expertise
6) Installed the included baseboard in all areas we can see from floor level
7) Very quick turnaround time, they take 2 days install 1000 sf including demolishing
9) Take CC payment — nice to be able to get something back on a large purchase
11) Nicely took care of a minor issue we had on our step between bathroom and hallway
Cons:
1) Dusting flied everywhere, there are lots went to our garage that we had a lot of furniture over there.
All in all, quality work and strong recommends them.

We talked to a few different flooring company’s and had quotes for laminate floors. Eric definitely came in at a reasonable price for high quality materials. Plus, he’s a super nice guy and gives a lot of detail without being pushy.
Throughout the installation process, he remained available and our main contact even though he was not the supervisor of the instal. His guys were hard working and the were FAST! They finished our whole house in 1.5 days.
Also, Eric emphasized that the price he gave us would be the final price and there would be no add-​ons. He kept to his word which is a big deal for me because with ANY contract work there is often unforeseen work that needs to be addressed. They made sure we were completely satisfied and asked us our opinion when they needed it. The initial quote was what we paid.
Best of all, they took credit card! (more travel points for me!)
Bottom line, these guys are great! We love our floor and have no complaints. Our house looks amazing and so much more modern. I would hire them again and definitely refer them to my family and friends.
