Wheel & Tire Connection

I’ve been searching places to get some wheels and tires done on my Honda Civic Si and after scouring through tons of Unilocal reviews and exhausting the Google search bar I read the reviews on Wheel & Tire Connection and stopped in.
I first gave them a call and was impressed with the knowledge that Carlos had on my car, the setup I wanted and was able to point me in the right direction of some wheels to look at. He was very knowledgeable, didn’t try sell me something I wasn’t interested and invited me to come into the shop and take a look at some wheels.
I stopped in a few days later and was impressed with the shop and the level of customer service provided by Carlos and his crew. I ended up ordering a set of wheels and tires that Carlos thought would be a good fit and a classy look. I ordered black Verde V99’s and Toyo tires. Everything came in quick and Carlos had me back in that same week.
What I liked about the customer service was the attention to detail and follow through. Carlos had two different tires ordered in just to make sure they’d work and even went so far as to take pictures of both different tires on the wheel and text them to me. Everything was installed and I was on my way.
Here’s what separates them for me. The next day I was having a little issue with the setup and text Carlos and he reassured me that my satisfaction was his #1 priority and had me come in the next day. They gave me a ride to work and guaranteed me they’d take care of me. And they did. They also painted my brake calipers red, painted over all the rust, and made my car look spectacular. Carlos even text me that night and made sure my car was working and that I was satisfied.
From the moment I called the customer service here was excellent. Everyone I encountered from the owner, to the technicians and the driver were all very friendly, very knowledgeable and actually took an interest in exactly what I was looking for. And I can be annoying because I’m very particular and I know what I want. I’ve had several cars and Jeeps and I’ve customized them all. This place is hands down the best. This will be my go-​to for any vehicle-​related needs.

CJ is the man! He was able to fill me in quickly this morning as a walk in customer without an appointment. I brought my 2011 535i in for an alignment after swapping out some new tires in the rear. The first alignment wasn’t perfect as too much negative camber was dialed out, therefore I brought the car in again today to have everything adjusted closer to factory specifications. Danny, the technician working on my car was able to work magic and made my car drive a lot smoother then post first alignment by doing some fine tuning and adding the required weights in the car. Don’t be fooled by the negative reviews because the staff here are friendly and will make sure their customers are satisfied.

I cannot believe the apathy and condescending attitude of Alexa. Who hired her? I have been in customer service for over 25 years and have rarely seen such treatment. Does she even care about her job? I have bought 4 tires from this place two times and have referred friends here. Not any more! This is my third Unilocal review ever because I strongly feel Alexa needs some serious custom service training.

Come to these guys for all my tires and wheels, fair prices and a team that will do what needs to be done to get it right. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for anything wheel related. I’ve had wheels repaired through them, tires installed, spacers, they do it all!

I went in today and I got best customer service I have received anywhere any tire shop I’m great greatly appreciate what they did for me today I guarantee you will get the best results from this place I highly recommend it!

This is a great business. From first call to delivering on everything we discussed and saving me money along the way. They did an expert job, helped me pack my old rims back into my car and gave me expert advice. I will always go to them with my wheel, tire and suspension needs. Todd helped me out — this reminds me of the days when customer service really mattered. Outstanding business they run there.

Came in to get a tire patch fixed. They were able to schedule me in mid-​day on a Saturday with only a 15 minute wait. Everyone was very helpful and will definitely coming back.

This place is complete rip of. I used to take my cars here before but it seems like they have raised their prices beyond belief. They wanted to charge me $ 210.00 to do a stock alignment on 1995 BMW! I went to MISSION VIEJO TIRE EMPORIUM and paid $ 65.00 out the door.

Had to get all 4 of my replaced. I was under the impression that it would take about 2 hours to finish; however, the mechanics were very efficient and completed it in less than an hour! This place is also pretty reasonable. $ 560 out the door for 4 brand new tires which come with a free tire rotation after 3 months, and a couple other perks. The men working the front desk were also very experienced with customer service. They were extremely friendly, and very efficient. Thanks guys! Will be back in 3 months for that rotation.

The manager Carlos was a great help, he is a man of his word and would call to let me know how things are going. He went over a beyond to deserve this 5 star review. Thanks Carlos.

I went to Tustin Mazda yesterday to get my car serviced, and they informed me that they found a nail in my tire and that it was a «slow leak.» They told me that they couldn’t patch it, and that they could replace it for me for «around $ 300.» I was pretty ticked off — I felt like the service guy who delivered the news was being sketchy. I promptly searched for a tire shop on Unilocal and chose Wheel & Tire Connection based on the rave reviews, and off I went!
Carla was the person who helped me, and she was a saint! She had her team look at my car immediately… and 10 minutes later she was back. Guess what? They pulled the nail out. They ran a test. The nail never actually punctured the tire. She handed me my keys. I just stood there shocked. No charge?! No charge, she said… we didn’t have to do anything!
I appreciate businesses like Wheel & Tire Connection, and I plan to support them and tell everyone I know about them. I’m so tired of shady businesses that make everyone bitter and bitchy. If everyone operated like Carla and the Wheel & Tire team, I think we’d all be a lot happier!

Worst customer service ever. Had tires replaced and when I left an got on freeway rear tire started making noise. the rear tire had a bubble on it which means they didn’t test drive it. Also on my valve stems I had air indicators on them and they were missing and when I went to get him back they told me they couldn’t replace him worst customer service ever went back 5 or 6 times never replace them never just kept getting the runaround please stay away from this place

Great place to go for all your wheel and tire needs just got my Lexus IS 300 put on some nice Tein lowering springs in alignment for one good deal!!! Friendly staff good prices and great we’ll selection this is the place to go if you’re ever in Irvine in need of new wheels and tires! While I was there I was treated nicely got some nice cold water and seem some expensive cars roll through there everything from Mini Coopers to Tundras and even a few Audi R8s! I would highly recommend this place for all of my wheel and tire services.

My experience with tire centers had not been the best up to this point. In fact, I had contact one prior to Wheel and Tire Connection and the guy answering the phone scoffed at my question — sort of like a «duh — that’s obvious». If it was obvious then I wouldn’t have asked in the first place. Marked that place off the list despite being a referral from a friend.
Then I found Wheel and Tire Connection and decided to stop by and see if they were any better. Met Carlos and he was informative and patient as I had never bought rims before and couldn’t decide what was going to look good. Carlos kept giving me options which I then had to consider since I hadn’t seen them before. Instead of getting impatient and wanting to hurry up he kept giving me options wanting to make sure that I knew what was available and that I’d be happy with whatever I went with.
On the day of installation I met CJ. Super friendly and helpful as well. I had my calipers painted in addition to changing the rims so it took longer. The good news was that the install time they gave me was accurate and I was able to pick it up at the promised time. Everything has been going great and my new rims are great. I’ll be coming back here for sure!

I brought in my sons car for new tires, rims & lights & Carlos supplied us with excellent service. It’s nice to go to a place that honors both their word & price quote.
Carlos is a skilled employee & I hope he is recognized for his fine service.

I researched the internet for a week and I called around to several places trying to get the best possible deal on some Roderick RW-​3 19″ wheels and tires. The best deal I received was from another wheel/​tire shop in Fullerton, but being that I live in RSM I didn’t want the hassle of driving that far. I called the Wheel & Tire Connection and spoke to Carlos. I told him I wanted 19×9.5 RW-3’s for my wife’s new 2015 Avalon Touring and he said he would order them and match the other guys price. Later that day he called and said he would recommend the 8.5 because the 9.5 would stick out of the wheel well in the front, so we made the change. When we got the wheels put on he was right, the 8.5’s are a perfect fit and the 9.5 would have stuck out… great call Carlos, thanks for researching it and being proactive!
After they finished the install (and complimentary alignment) I noticed that they also painted the unfinished raw factory rotor and calipers black (at no extra cost) which really cleaned it up. These guys are all about the details, they go above and beyond without having to be asked. I have bought dozens of wheels & tires in my life and these guys have their act together. I will be back for more wheels and tires from these guys!

I visited Wheel & Tire Connection a few weeks ago following a friend’s recommendation. Rather than trying to push a specific brand, the person on the phone gave me quotes on different tires and services and let me pick what I thought was best for my car based on previous research.
During installation, the staff called to tell me I needed an alignment shim. I was pretty apprehensive, so I popped in to take a look for myself. Eventually I agreed, so my total was about a hundred dollars more than what I expected. I was feeling pretty bummed, but on my drive home, my car felt almost brand-​new once again. Everything felt so smooth and I was completely satisfied.
Overall, based on my own experience and that of my friend, I would recommend Wheel & Tire Connection to others without hesitation.

Found this place through Unilocal after I needed some hard-​to-​find sized tires for my new set of wheels (275 40 22). I got my new wheels on a Friday and couldn’t wait to get new tires. Every other shop I called had to order them. WTC called around and found me a set of Nitto 420’s in Santa Fe Springs — and said they would personally go down and pick them up for me if I really wanted them that same day. Well, I did, and they fought through LA traffic to go get them for my install.
They wound up mounting and balancing my new wheels and tires and painting my brake calipers yellow, as you can see in my pictures. It took a long time for the paint to dry, so they wound up staying until 8:00 PM on a Friday to finish the job. I also saw them working on another car — installing rims. However the rims were rubbing against the wheel well, so they kept working at it until it was done the right way. This gave me reassurance that WTC does not take shortcuts and they will do the job right.
I took back my car for an alignment yesterday as well and they did a great job.
I have definitely found my go-​to place for my cars.
FYI they told me they do everything except major engine work.
