This is a great location for this place! It was beautiful and I tried the new tomato, mozzarella, basil Panini. it was fantastic! My new favorite on the menu. I also ordered a latte and it was quite tasty! I need coffee not from starbucks from time to time. Too bad they don’t have a drive thru!

One of my go-to places for a quick, comforting and relatively healthy meal(provided you stay away from those dangerous desserts!). Food is always dependable, at least as far as soups/salads/paninis go, and service is consistent. They often feature new additions to the menu but my standby fave is the soup and half sandwich combo, usually the veggie California Grille panini and Roasted Tomato Basil soup. I’m not one to usually pass on having meat in a meal but the Cali Grille tastes great and is hearty enough to pass for one with meat. If in doubt, try the Chicken Pomodori panini. They don’t offer the Three Lentil soup anymore, which was a nice, thick soup with lots of beans. Today I went for the combo with the Chopped Chicken Salad, another fave that seemed a little light on chicken this time, and tried their new Butternut Squash soup, which was perfect for this cool December day. May have to come back for a bowl of that soup! This location is always busy at lunchtime but is larger than the MacArthur location just a few miles away north of Geo Bush.

Always get my order wrong. Idk if it’s the lunchtime rush but every single time. I bought my boss the chicken pesto sandwich to go & was embarrassed to find out they forgot the pesto sauce, he ate a bland sandwich. Always check your to go orders.

It is a bold statement to have your ovens«running from open to close,» but, it sparked my curiosity. I am from out of town and was totally bummed to walk in nearly an hour before closing time to see all of the staff working hard to put everything away and close down. We decide to grab some sweet dishes anyway and the flavor was there… But dry as the Sahara in the summer. I was pretty let down… I even considered returning the dishes the next day but it was good enough to finish. Hope they improve because it has potential.

Close to the Omni Mandalay… a nice place to have breakfast without breaking the bank. A nice selection of breakfast options as well as a good selection of coffee we were happy we found this place so close to our hotel. They have one in Houston near the Rice University/Medical Center area and it’s always been good so we were expecting the same level of service and options and were not disappointed. If ever in the Irving area a good choice!

Came here for a Sunday brunch. They were pretty busy, but still had a couple tables open. It took no more than 5 – 10 minutes for us to get 4 people’s orders taken, drinks filled, and get seated. The food runner brought everything out after about 10 more minutes. Everyone’s order was prepared exactly how it was supposed to be. Most dishes were relatively standard; bacon & eggs, pancakes, hash browns, etc. I got the bacon and cheddar panini. Definitely tasty, but I wish I realized it didn’t come with any sides. A fruit cup or something would have been a nice addition. Love CBC and I plan on coming back plenty of times.

Amazing place to come and sit while enjoying a cup of soup, light salad and warm panini!!! They have an amazing Trio which gives the opportunity to taste several of their fresh salads, pastas and humus! Humus is fresh and breads are warm, soft and perfect! The tuna is clean with fresh green onions. And the humus comes out warm and served with carrots tomatoes and flat bread!!! The pasta cavatappi is really good as well. When the plate is all mixed together it’s wonderful. You can add a bowl of soup for extra. And never go wrong with the baked potato soup. Also don’t leave without getting some of their famous goodies!!! Treat yourself!!!

Ok the toast was not toast! It was just warm bread. If they just took 5 minutes to make it really authentic and toasted, I would be very happy with it.

Added a star to offset my review. Belly is full but Chicken tortilla soup was a series disappointment.

Their baked potato soup is my favorite. But I’m not a huge fan of their bread :(so I wouldn’t recommend the bread bowl soup. I’ve tried their sandwiches as well. Pretty good and taste fresh. Store is nice and clean with a good atmosphere.

This Corner Bakery location is just like the others I have visited. He This isn’t a good or bad thing in my opinion. The flavors and the service are pretty consistent. This trip I just had soup and a drink. It has been a while since I’ve had baked potato soup from any restaurant but it was good the right amount of cheese and scallions, it could have been a little hotter for me personally but I’m sure it was within the normal range. A pleasant surprise was the hibiscus lemonade, that a new one for me. All in all I will continue to be a fan Corner Bakery they have a variety of menu options, some tasty sweet treats and free WiFi. The service is always good even at their busiest times.

(Using a bad imitation of Denny Green’s voice) The Corner Bakery Café is what we thought they were! Now,(hitting an imaginary microphone) if you want to crown them, then crown their rear! But, they are who we thought they were! The Las Colinas location is what I thought it was: 1. A solid place to have business meetings over a coffee or a light meal. It’s a less solid choice to meet an acquaintance at and it would never be my choice to go to for a meal on my own. 2. A place to get solid, not spectacular, soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods and coffees. 3. Being right off the highway, it’s a place that people not familiar with Las Colinas can find somewhat easily. Looking around the room, you will see ½ a dozen business meetings going on pretty much any time between 7:30am to 3:30pm. During the meal hours, you will also see the Yummy Mummy groups and 20-something young ladies in power suits enjoying their iced caffeine and yogurt parfaits on the patio. Don’t take this 3 star for any less than what it is: this Corner Bakery serves a role and it does it well, which is why I continue to meet business acquaintances there for out-of-the-office meetings. For that, it is A-OK.

There isn’t anything that really wows me about this place. I frequent this location because of where my office is at. I find it strange that the prices here are higher than what you’d normally find when you look up the menu online. The food is good. I’m not crazyyyy about it, but I can say that I love their Chicken Caesar Salad. It’s fresh and not overwhelming whatsoever. My favorite item, hands down, would have to be their Hibiscus Lemonade. It definitely adds a refreshing twist to your regular, old lemonade. If you’re in the area, this place is very convenient!

Stopped in on my way back to H-town. Even though the place had a long line, it went rather quickly, so that was good! I ordered the avocado and spinach power panini thin with egg whites. It was really tasty but I think the bread was just too soggy. Would have been better had the bread been more toasty and crisp. It did take quite a while to actually get our order, so while they scored big on the long line and order process, it was a slight fail on the actual receipt of the food. Oh well, it was still tasty!

Corner Bakery is decent. Proportions are better than Panera, quality of food is ok. I’ve eaten here once for breakfast, once for lunch. Not my go to place though. Pros: Nice proportions for kids meals and lemonade is good. There was one employee at this location — wish I would have grabbed his name, who was extremely nice. He was humorous and overheard my son say the eggs tasted gross(not very seasoned). He offered to get him something else because he wanted him to enjoy the meal. We declined but thanked him as it was a very nice gesture. The cookies are yummy. Cons: grilled cheese sandwich is nasty — way too much cheese and it is greasy. Service at this particular location was not impressive. The cashier was chaotic and unknowledgeable. When I ordered the kids breakfast with bacon, he said it doesn’t come with bacon. I had to then point out the scrambled eggs WITHBACON from the menu, to which he replied«oh, ok». I had to repeat my order like 3x, which would have been alright except he was speaking so fast that he wasn’t really listening which made the experience rather annoying.

Good food in a comfortable atmosphere. Stopped by for a quick breakfast and enjoyed the various choices available. From the common breakfast sandwich(bagel, croissant, etc) that I so enjoy to steal cut oatmeal there’s something that should catch the eye of just about everyone. I decided on one of the breakfast panini’s and the Pumpkin Latte. Now I’m not normally a Latte drinker, in fact I think that may have been the second one I’ve had all year but it being the holiday season I thought I’d give it a try. The panini was great! it was filled with fresh tomato and avocado, and was seasoned just right. Never needed even a pinch of salt to bring out the flavors. The Latte was good or more like Meh to me but my wife who’s a Latte regular thought it and her’s were wonderful… so there you go all you latte drinkers, order up you won’t be disappointed. Overall it was clean, had a modern hip feel, with attentive and friendly staff so I would definitely be back should the opportunity arise. 4 Stars — I’m a fan of this Corner Bakery Café.

I always tell the same joke after I bring in lunch from Corner Bakery. «Thanks for lunch, deno. You’re welcome. I slaved all morning over it.» No one ever laughs. It’s nice when we are working in and I need to pick up lunch for about 10 folks. Their menu has a nice variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, soups and cookies so that everyone can get something they like. I can call in our super complicated order and it’s usually right – except the extra chips. They forgot that about half the time. I like the separate line for call-ahead orders. It’s easy and tasty. Makes me look like a freaking genius at the office. That being said, the food is not amazing. The salads are pretty good. No one complains. But the food is just average. Sometimes average is okay.

We were tasked with working over the weekend to close the year, so we ordered a large lunch order from Corner Bakery on Sunday. There were so many things wrong with our order that I will never patronize this place again. If someone is spending $ 80-$ 100 on sandwiches and salads, the delivery of the request needs to be precise. this experience was far from that. 1. Someone ordered a greek salad with chicken. When we got the order back to the office, it was a greek salad with no chicken. she was highly disappointed 2. i ordered the tuna sandwich specifically on wheat bread instead of harvest bread because i have too many food allergies to take chances with breads that have various ingredients, such as nuts or other grains. my tuna sandwich arrived at the office on harvest bread. to be on the safe side, i had to remove the bread and just eat the tuna. i was highly disappointed 3. someone else ordered tuna as well. she wanted no mayo and no dijon mustard; i wanted mayo and dijon mustard. it would have been nice for them to mark which one was which to eliminate the need for someone else touching someone else’s food to confirm which one had mayo/mustard and which one didn’t 4. we ordered extra pickles on the side for the whole group order, which consisted of 8 – 10 sandwiches/salads. there were only two extra pickles included The crazy part is, when we ordered, they repeated the order back to us, verbatim… but did not deliver accordingly. this location is in a corporate neighborhood and i would imagine that most of their customers are from businesses in the area since the area is not very residential. since corporate is the demographic, they really need to learn to handle corporate orders(large orders) and deliver the requests. it sucks to get food all the way to the office only to find out that the order is wrong. when you are busy at work, it is not convenient to go back and get it fixed. i’m glad there is a Schlotzky’s in the same parking lot. I’m going to start going there for my sandwich needs.
