Kwik Kar Lube & Tune

I have been getting my oil changed at this location for 10 years now. Every visit is professional and quick, usually in and out within 20 minutes. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. The restroom is clean. Friendly service and they remember who I am. I have been treated with courtesy and respect each time I visit, which is often for the five cars in our family. They also do my vehicle inspections and advise me about the maintenance my car needs. I’ll be back.

My 07 maxima was hesitating and sluggish and they fixed the problem right away (fuel system/​injector cleaning) for keys than I thought it would be. They passed up the chance to charge me $ 300 for a tuneup I didn’t need. They also took the time to explain what they were doing to my car and why. This place is awesome and I’ll be back.

I can’t say enough great things about this particular Kwik Kar station. I don’t know if this is a franchise-​based company or if everything is owned by a corporate HQ, but this particular Kwik Kar really does feel like a «neighborhood» auto shop. Every single staff member is super-​nice, and they take great care to update you on what’s going on with your repair/​inspection/​oil change.
I’ve been going to this particular one for years — at least since 2002, when I first moved back to Dallas — and ownership has changed a few times over the years, but no matter who has owned the place, the staff has never failed to treat their customers with utmost respect and professionalism.
I recently had my 1995 Geo Prizm inspected here, and while it ultimately didn’t pass both the first AND second attempts, you could tell that the staff were really rooting for it to make it. They tried everything they could and were genuinely disappointed when it didn’t pass. As sad as it was for me, too, I was really touched that they cared so much. That’s how amazing this place is.
I can’t recommend this Kwik Kar enough — two thumbs up, 5 stars for sure!

Came here on a Monday to get a state inspection. They said the certified inspector left at 4PM and told me to come back the following day. I left work a little early after calling in and was told that the inspector would be leaving at 5:30PM. This place closes at 6PM, I believe.
Got there and got my inspection done. The mechanic even showed me that something in my engine was short cycling that could later affect my A/​C.
Was out of there within 30 minutes. Paid $ 35 or something. I think the inspection itself is a little under $ 30 bucks, but my rear license plate lights were both shot and the mechanic just put some bulbs in for me for a minimal charge.

This shop crammed the wrong size filter into my car, after they told me they had the right size. They also charged me some exorbitant fee for the «special filter». Them doing that ended up breaking my oil filter housing. This is the kind of shady shop that makes people hate oil change shops. Very dishonest shop!

This place was fantastic! I know the bare minimum about cars and was so excited to see positive reviews for this place. I went in for an oil change, and the entire staff treated me with respect and patience (since I didn’t know what type of oil I needed). When the oil change was done, the recommended that on my next visit I should consider a new air filter. I have been to shops before where I was pushed to get everything new RIGHT THEN, and hated it. So glad these guys didn’t pressure me, yet still told me what should be done. I will absolutely be going back here for my next car issues!

This place is great! As previous reviewers have said, the staff is extremely nice, the service is fast, and they really take care of their customers. I don’t trust just anyone with my car even just for the oil change I got, but I definitely trust these good folks. I’ll be returning and telling my friends to come here!

Best customer care in Irving! They work fast and do an awesome job! Going to continue to bring our cars in for routine maintenance.

The staff is super friendly, just like everyone says, and this was the
FASTEST oil change I’ve ever had! Literally took 10 minutes.
Granted it was around 10am on a weekend, so most people were probably still asleep (I was the only car there). Overall they are knowledgeable, friendly, quick, and I will be a return customer!

The mechanics are all super nice and take time to explain all the whats and whys of the work they are doing with your vehicle. The owner Dave makes sure all of his customers are super satisfied and, in my experience, goes above and beyond to find the best deal for you. They are quick and the prices are fair. This is the type of place you can take your vehicle and not feel like you are going to be ripped off.
