Comfy Critters Pet Sitting

I was going to be away for 3 weeks over the holidays, so I needed someone to check on my cat, Softy. I picked Shari at Comfy Critters because she also has cats, and I can tell that she really cares about animals. She also has experience handling high-​maintenance cats (old, sickly, or finicky), so I felt comfortable that she can handle my low-​maintenance cat.
Shari checked on Softy every other day, made sure she was well fed and had fresh water, maintained the litter, and kept tabs on her health for signs of sickness. Softy is pretty independent, though, so I wasn’t expecting her to act out due to anxiety or worry herself sick.
On your scheduled return date, Shari requires that you contact her to let her know you arrive, otherwise she will assume you did not come home, and will continue to check on your pet until she hears from you. This is a good policy, especially if you are traveling because you can get delayed without email or cell phone reception to request to continue pet sitting.
I gladly recommend Shari for your pet-​sitting needs. She is professional, communicative, and most importantly, a lover of animals!

I really can’t say enough about how good Shari is. First, she came over and met our two adorable cats Maggie and Lola, spending some time getting to know them and our home so that she could give them effective care. Then, she communicated really well over text and email as we got closer to our trip away. Next, she cared for Maggie and Lola like we would – playing with the cats, feeding them and interacting with them. Best of all, when we came home Maggie and Lola were happy and healthy! I wish there were 10 stars to give Comfy Critters! I have four dogs and three cats. My dogs are senior citizens and most require medication or special attention, and one of the cats has long term renal failure. They all love Shari’s daily visits.
Shari is absolutely on top of how each animal is doing every day. If someone isn’t feeling well or is off their food — I get a call or a text. If there are any concerns or questions, I can count on Shari making sure I’m aware of them. There are always notes written about how the kids are when I get home at night. I never have to worry that Shari is going to miss something.
The bottom line is that Shari is absolutely amazing. I’ve worked for Washington’s top Animal Welfare organization for the past eight years, and I’ve had a lot of exposure to many different pet sitters. In my opinion, Shari and Comfy Critters are the best.
She has great ideas to help make my menagerie of animals happier and more manageable. She takes the time to make everyone treat balls to play with when she leaves. When she leaves on vacation, she always makes sure that she organizes coverage for my animals so I don’t have to worry about it.

They said she is trustworthy, reliable, the animals love her and she gets excellent reviews. I have to agree with them on all counts. Shari has provided daily walks for our two golden retrievers for the past two and a half years. Our oldest dog «Jack» was 12 weeks old and «KIta», our younger dog, was only 8 weeks old when Shari met them and began to provide care. We trust Shari explicitly and she has proven to be professional and exceptionally reliable. We also use her «live-​in» service during our vacations so that our dogs are able to be in their own home and environment while we are gone which we find to be comforting versus alternatives.
