I am new to town and needed tires mounted and balanced. Jason answered the phone and was personable and informed about my vehicle. He offered an appointment but when I indicated that I was hoping to get it done today, he accommodated me! Not only that, when the car was done, he called and was able to help me with the logistics of getting it back. Throughout he was professional, and clearly is invested in running a locally owned and operated service business with concern for his customers and his employees. I will be back, and I feel very lucky to have learned about his business. His prices also compared to those of big chains offering the same services. I highly recommend Ithaca Auto Service.

I recently moved from Florida and needed a trustworthy auto shop ASAP. I read the reviews and was sure glad I found this place. I got an oil change, and also had them check out a sound that worried me. I was only charged for the oil change (which was a GREAT price) and the sound was an easy fix (which I didn’t get charged for). If you need a reliable, trustworthy shop look no further.

My 12 year-​old Honda Civic was having an overheating problem that was not helped by a (10 day) stay at another repair shop. The helpful friendly mechanics at Ithaca Auto Service got me in same-​day just before a national holiday, diagnosed and repaired the vehicle by the end of the day. I was impressed, and will use the shop again when my cars need repairs.

Jason and his team are fantastic. He has taken our car in for service on very short notice twice and has fixed our issues quickly and at low costs. During our most recent visit, he didn’t even charge us, when he totally could have billed us for labor. We are long-​term customers.

I actually didn’t get a service today but I brought in for a second opinion about the issue I had with my car. The man Jason showed me which part was going wrong and what needs to get done to have it fixed and how much it costs. His explanations made sense. The other lady in the waiting area also spoke very highly of him. She says she stuck with him from Cortland where his shop (?) was originally located and then when he moved over here, she came to him (she lives between Cortland and Ithaca). I will bring my car back here sometimes. Thanks for giving me the second opinion today, Jason.

Excellent local auto repair in Ithaca. Be prepared — this shop is FAST! I left my 2 vehicles for repair expecting the usual «get it to you by the end of the day» but instead these guys completed oil changes, brake work and tires within a few short hours. Jason is great — very helpful, personable and John was knowledgeable any time I had questions. They use quality NAPA parts and labor was reasonably priced. I’m so glad they’re open — highly recommended!

Yes! They are back. This place really is the best. They have a new mechanic, Jason, who quickly repaired my car. He’s very friendly and smart, and he didn’t even charge me because he said it was such a small job. I wouldn’t count on getting a free repair, but you can count on fast, friendly, honest service.
The Fall Creek location was nice for me because I could walk to it, but I guess they get more traffic out on Elmira. It’s right past the traffic light beyond Buttermilk Falls as you go out of Ithaca. The 67 bus will drop you right at the top of the driveway if you ask (that’s how I picked up my car. Warning: it only goes every 2 hours.)
