BrushBuck Guide Services: We ARE Wildlife!

History

Established in 2006.

What is a BrushBuck? We get this question often. A BrushBuck is a bush that looks like a male deer (buck) but really isn’t, so as guides, we spot rock bears, sheep rocks, and BrushBucks many times in a day, we just don’t say it out loud before we are sure. In desert regions, we call them cactus bucks or in Alaska we had castle rocks (Dall Sheep).

BrushBuck was started over a breakfast with an idea to have a business in the outdoors. The original plan was to apprentice for outfitting backcountry activities like fly-fishing, hunting, hiking, pack trips, and horseback rides. After guiding in the backcountry and loving it we decided we could bring more guests to enjoy more wildlife in the Grand Teton and Yellowstone region and fired off guiding excited trips with a focus to show people wildlife like they had never seen before. Amber P.

Business Owner

BrushBuck is owned and operated by Ezra and Amber Peters and Adam Lackner. This business was started to show people wildlife and scenery like they have never seen it before. Both Ezra and Amber proudly served in the United States Navy as Information System Technicians. They met and married each other while serving and now have 2 sons, Luke and Jacob. Adam served in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman and has one son, Triston. All three owners apprenticed in the outdoors in many different ways, from guiding backcountry in Alaska to the mountains of Colorado with many wilderness tracks made in-between! We invite you out to have one of the best and most educational times you can have in the beautiful American outdoors and our great guides!
