Cute and friendly! My nephew was thrilled to get a bagel that was gluten free. Parking is very limited, but a trip or two around the block should suffice :)

This is just a review of the cakes. Well, specifically the carrot cake. HOTDOG is this a good carrot cake. In fact, I used to consider my carrot cake my one true cooking specialty and then I ate the carrot cake at Fiore’s and … theirs is better. That makes me a teeny bit sad except that who doesn’t want to eat even more delicious carrot cake?! The chewy cake and the cream cheesy frosting can’t be beat. They can whip up a cake to go if you give them just a few hours notice and the prices are quite reasonable.

I come here a lot and I love it. The food is great and reasonably priced… very fresh salads and delicious dressing. This place is a great example of doing a limited number of things VERY well. In addition, the people who work here from the owner on down are really delightful. They go out of their way to make Fiore’s feel like a home away from home. Also, since it is a bakery, I should mention that their scones, especially the chocolate chip, is my rare but sinful treat!

This place has the best signage and décor of any place in town. Also the sweets are beautiful AND delicious. AND their gluten free options are pretty darn good. The cupcakes can sometimes be kinda Earthy but other times they are perfect. Also they have gluten free bagels AND bread. My favorite thing about this place is there’s so many options and they a super nice. I used to be a fazenda loyalist but i’ve switched sides. Plus who wants to cross forest hills anyway?

Great egg and bacon breakfast sandwich. A bit expensive but it tasted fresh and was worth the few extra $$. There is also a bench outside which is good if you want to stop in while walking your dog!

Lots of great vegan options soups/salads/smoothies/sandwiches/pastries. Staff is always very nice even when they’re mobbed. Can be a little pricey but typical for the area and not too bad if you’re splitting something.

Such a great spot to grab a sandwich! I went for a run with my girlfriend through the Arboretum and we were starving afterwards. Thankfully we came across Fiore’s Bakery. We ordered the Christopher Robin and Monument sandwich as well as a Coconut Ginger Zucchini soup. Everything was amazing, but the honey walnut spread on the Christopher Robin sandwich was unreal. I could live in a vat of that stuff. It is the definition of perfection. I plan on returning to this place any time I am in JP to try even more sandwiches. They have vegan options, great looking baked goods, and several freshly made soups.

We stumbled in here early morning needing coffee desperately. This place delivers above average coffee and great breakfast sandwiches and pastries. It is on the hipster side… but these days most things are in JP.(And Dunkin Donuts coffee is too weak for my liking.) The staff is friendly and the food to order comes out fairly quickly. The desserts are awesome as well. Hint: ask about the sandwiches before ordering… some of the descriptions are a little off.

I spent 4 wonderful years representing the Orange Line and my fellow 39’ers(bus route) of Jamaica Plain. One of the best Boston boroughs to live. Its hipster spirit will remain within me for life. One of the treats I’d offer my guests on weekend mornings was the ‘Super American’ breakfast sandwich unique to Fiore’s. My all-time favorite morning bite, besides her butt. It consists of eggs, cheddar cheese, turkey, bacon, spinach, avocado and spicy veganaise. I don’t recall the type of bread used but it’s what really made it so great. There was nothing like feasting on my back porch while having good conversation, then retreating to the bedroom for a Sunday cuddle session. Oh the memories! Je suis JP… –Bean

I’m at Fiores twice a week. They have the best vegan sandwiches, baked goods, and soups in Boston. The staff are always friendly and it’s a great place to grab coffee with a friend. My favorites are the vegan Italian Maki, jalapeño bagel with tofutti, tomato basil soup, and the cupcakes. A few weeks ago I ordered one of their vegan cakes for my husband’s birthday and it was stellar.

When I moved to Boston I was concerned about being able to find gluten-free options. Luckily, Fiore’s not only offers gluten –free options, but their options actually taste good! I’ve gone to Fiore’s multiple times for their sandwiches and cookies, and I’ve never been disappointed. Their line is almost always back to the door, so don’t go here if you need something quick. But if you have the time to wait, Fiore’s is a great place to eat.

Fiore’s Bakery made my 2 years old son’s birthday a hit. Especially when a child is a picky eater, to watch him lick the cake off his fingers was AMAZING!!! Since it was my first time trying out vegan cake, I was amazed of how moist and delicious it was. To top it off customer service was an A+. They were highly knowledgeable and super helpful. I must admit I am hooked!!!

Shame on me for not reviewing this spot years ago. Loved the baked good and bagel I had here way back when. Shame on me for neglecting Fiore’s because I have been missing out! This damn vegan«Steak Bomb» sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Hands down. I’m pretty sure they used cashew cheese, but whatever it was it just sets the sandwich right off.

Excellent coffee, mouthwatering pastries, and free internet. What more could a grad student ask for? I’ve moved in down the street from Fiore’s and they’ve become a common stop for me during the day. Their prices are reasonable and the coffee(especially the iced) comes in large cups. The pastries are wonderful and there’s a large variety to choose from. I’ve tried a few of their breakfast sandwiches and have been pleased. They even come with a little side of potatoes! That being said, they’re not the largest coffee shop. So if you happen to hit them during a rush, you may not find a seat.

The vegan sandwich I had was really good. Having said that I’ve yet to have non-greasy vegan restaurant food in this town(aside from Asian). The sandwich was a bit greasy and now that I’m home with it I see they didn’t give me any sides. I am looking through the pictures and I’m thinking where’s my side of lettuce or potato? I would have bought some had the pretty little blond offered to sell me any. Or at least it would have been nice if they informed me of the fact that it didn’t come with any sides. Oh well I really appreciate the fact that they have vegan desserts that are not just fruit, so that’s cool.

So far I’ve only had pastries and one sandwich but it’s all been amazing. Everything is fresh and they have vegetarian and vegan options. I tried the cashew cheese at the urging of the guy behind the counter and he was spot on. The cashew cheese is absolutely delicious. I’m also a big tea drinker. They brew fresh ice tea every day — today it was early gray mint — and it’s always good. I can’t wait to go back and try more things.

I have always really liked this place because it has a hip and casual feel and the staff is always really nice. I’ve always thought it is so weird when staff at small places like this think being mean or unfriendly is somehow cool! Because of this and the great vegan options my fiancé and I made this our Sunday morning hang-out spot. When we were there one day we just decided on a whim to ask them to make our vegan wedding cake. Planning it out with them was nice and easy, but my fiancé forgot to pick it up. Yes. You read that correctly. When you are wedding planning you can remember this Unilocal post about the guy who forgot to pick up his wedding cake and maybe things won’t seem so bad. Anyway they were so nice about it. He went after-hours and grabbed it and they let him borrow a silicon spatula in case the icing needed touching up at the venue. He didn’t even bother for a payment on the spot since he needed to consult with the baker, which was so nice of him to be relaxed about it.(Don’t worry, Fiore’s if you are reading this, we are coming by today to pay!) The cake looked just perfect on our wedding day, it was delicious and exactly what we wanted. So glad everything went off without a hitch. It was just so heartwarming to be treated like that. I’m really happy to be apart of the JP community.

Service was gorgeous… I mean great! Eh hem… I had the vegan breakfast sandwich that comes with a spicy sauce… I can’t recall the name, but if you see that description on the menu with an option for tofu or seitan that’s it! I tried it with tofu while my friends who go often got seitan. I liked theirs better. Neither were spicy even though we all got jalapeño bagels, so that was disappointing, but they tasted great. If you stay to eat you get to sides and it costs the same. One friend was very upset about that… I also got a strawberry smoothie with almond milk and it was super thick. I needed a spoon to get through most of it. I ordered a boston cream pie cupcake to go which was in a cute container which they said they don’t always have, so don’t get your hopes up. The cupcake was decent, nothing special other than the cream filling, which was expceted.

I love how veggie-friendly this place is, but I do have 2 complaints: 1) it’s a really tiny space, so it’s cramped and hard to get around. 2) the food takes a very long time to be prepared. On a regular day, it can be 15+ minutes. When I called an order in ahead of time last week, it took 30 minutes. I will continue to go there because they have awesome seitan sandwiches at a reasonable price, unlike City Feed, and a variety of yummy baked goods. They also support local artists by showcasing their work. I like the local feel.

Love this place! Their Italian Maki Vegan Sandwich is a favorite. The Bagel Sandwich and All American brekky sandwiches also rock if I’m in a non-vegan mood. Great coffee and SALTBAGELS! mmmm… They could use a bit more space as its often crowded and sometimes challenging to get a seat. I’ve also tried a few things from their bakery that I didn’t do flips over, but alas, I don’t have much of a sweet tooth.

Nicest man ever working the cash register on a Sunday morning. Frabbed 5 bagels, a scone and small coffee for ten bucks. Cranberry scone was good but not sweet enough for me which meant my friends loved it! The bagels were really good and the rest of their pasteries looked delicious. I had an almond macaroon which may be one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The flavor was bursting out of it and the consistency was perfect! Super duper delicious!

My gf and I come here every weekend now because the pastries are delicious, the coffee is good(free refills) and the vibe is really nice. The guy who owns the place is really friendly(as well as the staff) so I feel good giving this place my business. Try the bread pudding, spinach and feta turnover, or coffee roll.

I come here for breakfast sandwiches if it’s after 12, and City Feed is no longer serving them. Although they are more expensive, Fiore’s will serve you a breakfast sandwich any time of day. Totally clutch for hangover purposes, because when I really need an egg sandwich to sop up last night’s alcohol, I’m usually not out of bed in time to make it to City Feed before noon. The Bagel Sandwich(eggs, cheddar, tomato, and bacon/sausage, on any type of bagel) is great, and comes with what seems like two whole eggs. Often egg sandwiches are short on the egg, but Fiore’s does not disappoint in this regard. I sometimes substitute avocado instead of the bacon/sausage. Usually, it’s good, but once I got chunks of rotten avocado, all brown and stringy, on my sandwich. Not okay, and shouldn’t have been served. I used to work in food service, and if all the avocados I had were like that, I would have just told people we were out. You can’t put rotten avocado on a sandwich, geez. It’s pretty much impossible to wait for your order here without being colossally in the way. There is no good place to stand, and usually all the tiny tables crammed in there are occupied. If you try to stand by the counter where the orders come out, your butt will basically be brushing the back of someone’s head who is sitting at a table. I usually end up blocking the coffee, but that’s not ideal either. Removing just one or two tables or moving the coffee station elsewhere would really help this situation, but for now I’ll just keep repeating«no, I’m not in line.» Oh, and they take LevelUp!

Small café with great eats, plenty of vegan options! Food: 1. Italian Maki: Fantastic! The eggplant is lightly breaded and the sandwich is served hot. You can’t go wrong with pesto sauce. Drink: 1. Iced tea: mediocre iced tea. It was good. Customer Service: friendly and helpful. I asked for recommendations in pastries and the cashier inquired about textures and flavors that I like. Ambience: Small and limited seating. Street art portraits and collages for sale hanging on the walls. Overall I recommend! The sandwich was so delicious!
