The pizza, soups, pastas you name it! My personal favorite buffalo chicken pizza. The owner is so nice and the food is always fresh!

Their pizza is good great I would say. But their Greek salad is full of olives, lettuce is bad, and the cheese which I love there was only 2 small pieces. Oh I thought this salad had tomatoes, I guess they forgot becsuse there was none. I also ordered crispy chicken strips, smelled great but had no taste. When I took a bite I thought I was eating hospital food. And then to top it off I saw on the menu a beautiful pix of cheese cake. OMG. The most georgeous thing but when I received it, This cake had no presentation, it was hard better said frozen, taste was ok but Benny presentation, presentation is key. Well that was my experience at Benny. Yay Ben

I have ordered food from this location on several occasions with coworkers. The food is delicious and the quanity size is reasonable for the price. The only thing I am not a big fan of is the customer service when placing the orders over the phone, they have no personality and are impatient and can be rude. I am very big on customer service and have traveled miles for food that was okay but the customer service is what kept me returning as a customer. I would suggest they possibly increase their customer service, A Warm Welcome, Say Good Morning Or Good Afternoon when answering the phone, dont act like you are doing me a favor by taking my order.

Really good NY style pizza. The crust nice and crispy. Not soggy. It is perfect. I’ve tried the plain, white, and spinach slices. A+ offering Seltzer for us non soda drinkers! It does get crowded in the evening with phone orders and people in person. I always manage to get a seat though. There’s about 6 tables.

Food was simply just ok, a side salad & a hard burnt piece of bread for $ 13.00, the ziti was just awful so juicy, full of cheese & grease… chicken wasn’t crispy at all, I’m never going back…2 Stars because the customer service was awsome. the food however is totally lacking

Ive been a regular at Benny’s for the past 10 years since I was a freshman in highschool. The food has always been excellent. All these years later and I still order the same thing… a buffalo slice and a spinach stick. The service is always short and sweet and before I forget I recently had the baked ziti with chicken cutlet that was heaven in my mouth.

While Margherita Pizza on Jamaica Avenue steals the thunder(and it does have the best around), Jamaica does have another good pizza joint and that is Benny’s on Hillside Avenue near 179th St. Though it sometimes lacks consistency(sometimes really good, other times OK), it is still good pizza. Good sauce, cheese and crust. I wish Benny would clean up the place a little better and make it a bit nicer inside. While not up to par with Margherita, which is a big feat, Benny’s holds its own, especially in Jamaica, which does not have the best pizza joints. Cannot comment on any of the other food, since I have only gotten slices there. Worth a visit.

One of the best Italian Pizzarias ever! This is real NYC pizza! Everything on the menu is amazing. The pasta dishes are so good and thr portions are huge. The chicken cesar salad is a must try! Order anything and you will not be disappointed. The best family owned Italian Pizzaria!

This has to be the worst experience that I’ve ever had ordering pizza by phone. I called them and ordered a few items from them. I gave them my address and phone number. I then waited about 45 minutes and I didn’t even get a phone call from them, so I decided to call them myself. When I called them back the lady explained that the place is too far from where I live. She was actually pretty upset that it was that far. She gave me a huge attitude about it. Her driver was basically halfway here and she chose to call him and tell him to come back. Basically wasting my time and her time and wasting the food also she should have called and told me this but she didn’t. She should’ve just continued with the delivery just for that day that way she didn’t waste any money that they had spent on making the pizzas and tell the driver to tell me that he cannot deliver here anymore. Seriously they are a eight minute drive from where I live. I’ve ordered from places in Rockaway that will actually come all the way from there to deliver food to me with. A Eight minute drive is nothing, Especially if you have a car. which they did. I do not recommend you order from this place unless you live within two or three blocks away from them.

I’m a regular at Benny’s for 2 years now. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu. This is what New York Pizza is all about, good cheese, good sauce, and a nice crispy pie(unless you sit too long in the box but that’s your fault). They also have deep dish style pizza and their mini spinach pin wheels on Friday are so good you have to fight to get some before they are all gone. Benny is a down to earth guy even though he owns the place. He is a no nonsense type of guy who is quick to smile and always gets my order right. He pay attention to detail so don’t try to pull a fast one on him. The buffalo pizza is a personal favorite but the grandma and chicken marsala are close behind. Try a slice and take a seat, these types of pizzeria’s are what make New York arguably the epicenter of Pizza in the US.

Great food, more than satisfied with the huge portions and great prices compared to other Italian food spots. Really recommend this place for great food. Wish they had more pasta dishes

I recently became addicted to Benny’s vegetable pizza. The regular pizza is great but I just learned about their«deep dish» vegetable pizza. I am seriously hooked! The vegetable toppings include broccoli, breaded eggplant, fresh tomatoes, onions and peppers. Maybe mushrooms and olives too. I don’t remember. Ate it too fast,(smile) And the vegetable are so juicy and fresh. I always thought that gaby’s was the go to spot but I actually had a slice of gaby’s an hour prior and decided i had to visit Benny’s to get my pizza fix. I’m trying not to make tomorrow my 3rd day in a row eating that damn veggie pizza. It’s a must try!

Their food is OK. Everyone at my office likes it due to the salad but it’s overpriced and the deli in the corner can add more variety. These will charge you extra just for a pinch more of anything. And, other places will just give you blue cheese for the buffalo slices instead of charging for it… The son’s attitude stinks! I hate coming here to even see his face but one time I decided to see for myself the place people at work order from. FU!

Okay pizza, good selection. HORRIBLE attitude, one worker in particular. Definitely wont be returning because of that alone.

Is it refreshing to see an original, authentic pizzeria amidst all the blooming, greasy(quite delicious) fast food restaurants in the Jamaica area? You can bet your very last bottom dollar. Benny’s is that homemade, corner store, mom and pop one-stop pizza shop for all your lunch, dinner, Sunday hangover needs. Their slices are very thin, crispy and very robust. Not under cooked and too doughy, Benny’s serves up a pizza slice that is «different» in its own manner. Apart from pizza, they have a pretty extensive menu and their salads(yes, I said SALADS) are very fresh, reasonably priced and to be perfectly honest, the bread that is heated up to an ideal temperature which, accompanies any salad, is that heavenly cheat treat that you’ve always dreamed out. Very soft, sweet and addictive, I think that bread is actually better than their pizza itself. Soups, salad, bread(sticks); you name it, Benny’s is on it.

Yes let’s take a ride to Jamaica for pizza said no one ever… but of course I gave in to my friend(and fellow elite Unilocaler Jude Jay) and out to Jamaica we went. No regrets, that was a delicious slice of pepperoni pizza. Benny’s makes the ideal NY slice. Perfectly heated, thin crispy crust, good amount of cheese and sauce, and very generous with the pepperoni. I wasn’t even mad that I accidentally grabbed a diet soda after taking a bite. The place itself is laid back, it’s a pizza joint, service was quick and of course they cater to your needs. It’s about time that I have some real good pizza.

This is a great little pizzeria I’ve been to a few times. The layout of the restaurant is decent. It’s clean, and the walls have Italian themed decorations. There are about 6 sets of tables, with up to 4 chairs to a table. There’s a television for patrons to check out as well. In my visits, I haven’t tried a variety of menu items. All I’ve had are regular slices, Sicilian slices, and zeppoles. They were all of the quality I expect from a good pizza joint, which is a compliment and my only negative about the shop. I’ve only eaten a few pizzas that stood out from the rest, and the pizza here doesn’t join that rare club. Benny’s just makes awesome food, and that’s all I’m looking for.
