Love this spot ! No need to go to Harlem ! We have it right here in queens ! You go, pick out what you want & they steam or fry it. It definitely stays busy so expect to be there for about 20−25mins total time. The man who owns the place isn’t one to beat around the bush so don’t expect smiles and small talk. The food is always good. Seasoned to your liking & a bunch of veggies to chose from.

Very good fish. Im a sucker for the seafood combo which is shrimp, scallops & i think whiting. I always substitute it because I hate whiting. It doesnt matter who makes it. I havent tried the steamed fish but go with the fried! Definitely worth it. The cashiers dont speak much English though…

Called in order and it was ready when we got there 25min later, fish was seasoned well, fairly priced, didn’t try other seafood or sides but might next time. Limited seating, definitely a grab and go place. Closed Sundays which sucks. Seems like it can get really busy during lunch and dinner hours so probably not best if you’re in a rush but otherwise worth a visit.

I hated every bit. Yuck. You ppl dont know good food. If want good steam seafood you gotta go to El Puerto in harlem. And that is exactly why I messed up. A relative told me go here because it was convienant and good. Liessss!!! First of all you wait damn near a hour and the place wasnt even crowded. Second the crab legs is frozen. That right there shoulda made me leave. The guy who prepares the food put all these spices one the food and it still was bland. And you cant even put ya own butter. This food was trash i end up throwing it away. Waste of money and time. I wont ever be back. And this place gets zero stars. Unilocal just making me put one.

Great for on the fly meals love the steam corn and carrots. You can also order raw fish to go home if you like but overall it’s not mush to say about the place store front location

Good selection of fish. They make the fish fresh to order and the vegetables. Steamed takes alittle longer but is worth it! Good prices as well.

The worst fried fish. We had to throw it out it was so bad. The oil was old and they used frozen fish that was old. Don’t waste your time and money.

I love the way the food is seasoned and how you can just pick up whatever items you want for them to cook fresh. You can get your seafood items either steamed or fried. I always go for the steamed option. The only downfall is that there is no air conditioning also do not expect it to look fancy in here lol. It seems that most people just order to go, but I’m not from the area so I like to sit and eat.

Service good… Affordable … And seasoned to your liking… Owner himself is the one in the store serving you… It is a bit small space and gets crowded quick. If you’re worried about décor it’s not too great…

The food here is great. They cook the food fresh right here in front of you. If you like sea food you should try this place.

This place is real good, a good friend put me on. They steam or fry your choice of fish and vegetables. First time I came, I ordered salmon with Veges and rice, snow crab legs and clams. I was very pleased at how everything was made. They season your food to your liking. It takes bit of time for everything to be steamed. I suggest u order ahead of time. Staff that works here are really nice.

I went with a friend a few months ago and ordered the snapper. I forget what he ordered. The fish was delicious, and I probably will go back again, but I took away two stars due to the experience. The food takes them an extremely long time to prepare, and the place is very disorganized. You almost have to fight to get your order in, and constantly check up on them to see what’s going on. Also, they wouldn’t take any credit cards, and made me pay with a debit card, even though my order was over $ 10. Still, it’s worth going, because it really is some of the best fish around. Next time I’ll call in my order way in advance.

I came here instead after reading a 3 star rating for red lobster! First time I ate Snow White crabs and they were delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

Now I know ya’ll saw that frozen tilapia box in the fridge by the sodas. Even while I was sitting, waiting for my food, they were taking shrimp out the bags and putting them on ice. He watched me, watch him take the shrimp out the packages with no shame in his game whatsoever. I thought they served fresh seafood, not just freshly made seafood. Anywho, the food is really good and the prices are very reasonable for the amount they give, but the false advertisement is too real! You can compare this store to the 24 hour seafood spot in Harlem. You pick your own raw seafood(fish, shrimp, scallops, crab legs, etc…), then you choose your raw veggies and then they cook it for you. I kept it simple with 4 fried pieces of whiting with fries. My friend ordered steamed tilapia with yellow rice and broccoli. Not my favorite batter on the fish but it was still good. My friend said she really enjoyed her tilapia. There is a long wait time for your food and this place can get real busy so its better to call ahead then pick it up. Also there’s only about 3 tables in there. Most people take-out.

This summer I’m working at a camp located not too far from this place and decided to skip the usual trip to mcdonalds everyone takes for lunch. It was a 10 minute walk so I decided to call my order in, in hopes that it’ll be ready by the time I got there. I ordered the fried red snapper filet with French fries and was told it’ll take 15 – 20 minutes, oh well. Ten minutes later I arrived, grabbed a Jamaican kola from the fridge and waited 10 minutes for my order. My order came to 9.75 and was told I couldn’t pay with my debit/credit card for a purchase under $ 10 so I added a bottle of water to my order. The fish was pretty good, the French fries remind me of the frozen French fries you buy from the supermarket. They were decent but could’ve used some seasoning or something. With one week of camp left, I think I’ll revisit this place again. This time I’ll call my order in earlier and try the rice or steamed veggies instead

Why do everybody keep saying the food is fresh? They get their food from the freezer section at the super market. They don’t try to fool you they bring out the food in frozen packages while customers are there. At least they are honest. However the food is still delicious, the staff is very nice & the prices are reasonable. They sell enough fish that they should be able to go to the docks and really get some fresh seafood. I’m willing to pay a little extra.
