Okay, so this is not a place for foodies but sometimes the weirdest cravings sneak up… and you just have to give in once in a rare blue. Almost every fiber of my being usually steers me right past this place but, today, they were all silenced. The chicken(leg and thigh) was fresh, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and sinfully delicious(I’m almost ashamed to admit this). The cole slaw was only so-so but the biscuit was fluffy and buttery good. Call me crazy but I split the biscuit in half and drizzled a little honey on it. It must be a Southern thing. This Popeye’s shares space with a Burger King and while the drive thru lane at BK was about 5 cars long, there was no wait for Popeye’s. Normally, that would be a cause of worry or second-guessing but there was juat no turning back today. I can’t rate this any higher as this place just isn’t good for you but a solid 3 stars it is. Still feeling guilty for coming thru here today… but I’ll get over it. Perhaps I’ll be back in another year or so when the evil craving rears its ugly head again. Sigh…

Closed up with no sides, little to nothing 10 minutes before closing time. Wasting my time

They are great! The food is always fresh. They are slow sometimes but that’s because people always come to this Popeyes. The manager is especially friendly to the customers. He makes you want to come back. LOVETHATCHICKENFROMPOPEYES!

If given the option, I would give zero stars… they were painfully slow and cashier give me a different order from what I Told her… don’t know how you can messed up «I want a number 4.» She refused to listen to what I had to say and was telling me what she wanted to give me… was very rude and was raising her voice because I Told her she took my order… would never go again

In a nutshell: Fried Chicken. Better than KFC fo’ sho. How am I the first reviewer? Is everyone else ashamed that they went here? This is actually one of the cleaner Popeye’s I’ve ever been to. The one I’ve been to in LA is real dirty and you get solicited for change every five minutes. I think this place is fairly new, but I definitely went here last year(before I was born on Unilocal) with the fam. Parking 3⁄5 Small lot. We lucked out… I guess no one likes pigging out on fried chicken at 9PM on a Monday night out here. Ambience 3⁄5 It’s a Popeye’s. Service 4⁄5 The manager served us and was real nice. He let us know that he gave us a whole new batch of chicken instead of giving us the chicken that was already out. Nice, bro. Nice. Food 4⁄5 We got a 12 piece family meal Chicken 4⁄5 Good. We got the Spicy chicken mixed family meal. Chicken is not dry at all and full of cajun flavor. Also, fresh out of the fryer. Cajun Rice 4⁄5 Good stuff. Nice deviation from the white rice we were going to eat with it. Cajun Fries 2⁄5 Cold and kinda stale. Not the business… probably the reason why we got brand new chicken. Mashed Potatoes 3⁄5 Potatoes with a cajun gravy. It was alright but tasted a bit old. Overall 3⁄5 Decent chicken and fairly affordable. Fed 5 people for under $ 30. Definitely choice for takeout to hang with friends or fam at home.
