Holy moly! If plan on only eating one donut/​scone/​muffin here, expect to be disappointed in yourself. It’s impossible, you can’t have just one! The sour cream donuts are amazing and their orange rolls are definitely worth ending a diet for. I have never been unhappy with any item at BK

Listen, there just isn’t a better bakery in the area! I dare you to find one! French traditional at its best! They recently started making donuts too! Yeah the best!

This bakery can hold it’s own with the best of them! It is hands down the only place I will ever get donuts when travelling through this region. I will actually go out of my way to venture towards this city just to get a dozen. Everything about this business screams amazing! You will not be let down, period!

Best bakery in mid-​MO! BK Bakery has something for every pastry palate. Their orange roll will blow your mind! Their signature chocolate mousse cake will spoil you for other chocolate cakes for life. And now Brandon is whipping up hot tasty donuts daily. Man, oh man, my car can make its way to BK Bakery all by itself. You should make your way there too!

I just had some vanilla bean cake at a wedding reception from here and it was THE BEST cake, I have ever had. The cake was moist and light and the icing was a wonderful compliment to the cake. Some places have icing the is overwhelming and too sweet. This place got it perfect! I will never make a trip to Jefferson City and not order a cake to take home. #1 place for cake!!!

The best little bakery! I’ve tried a variety of their baked goods (cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, danish, etc.), and everything is delicious. They’re somehow able to achieve a light, airiness to their dough — In my opinion, cinnamon rolls have a tendency to be too dense and just become overwhelming after a few bites, but not at BK Bakery! It might not look like much from the outside, but walk inside and you are greeted with a yummy smell and friendly faces :)

One unpleasant thing about a place can motivate you to give a bad review even if all other aspects were good.
Alright, environment of the place is not as relaxing and comfortable as most typical coffee houses have. It felt like something was lacking, may be warmth or coziness.
Although it does have a local coffee house appeal.
I had to visit the place as I was traveling and needed to charge my phone so I asked the girl at the counter if I could have a redbull so I would have a reason to sit there and charge my phone. They didn’t have it so I asked her if I could charge my phone and she replied ‘I don’t think so…’ while looking at a nice lady who seemed like her boss. This was her first sign of her insecurity. Anyway the nice woman allowed me to charge my phone.
I was tired and sleepy so I bought a cup of coffee. During the time I was sipping coffee, the girl showed me all kinds of signs of her insecurity, like looking at me in a weird way as if thinking ’ who is this asshole?’, displaying a fake professional behavior when I asked her for the wifi password etc.
It was fun to watch her reaction every time I went to the counter to pour some more coffee.
Anyway, Coffee was good but a little expensive while keeping in mind that it was just regular coffee.
Overall it’s a good coffee house.

Great local bakery. Coffee and pastries are all very good. Lots of great natural light and warm staff.

Best pastries in town! Ida and Brandon have given Jefferson City a real gem. My top recommendations — the Ham and Cheddar scone, Crème Brule latte (with an extra shot of espresso), cheesecake bites, cranberry orange muffins … or anything else they’re offering that day.
They also have delicious cakes for that special occasion. The carrot cake is moist and full of real ingredients and the vanilla bean is heavenly. Prices are reasonable which is good because I can never make up my mind on what I want so end up getting a variety box. :-/

Wonderful bakery in Jeff City. Nice selection of cookies and other goodies. Too much here to write about so be sure to stop here.

Best Bakery in town

I love the friendly staff, and the prices are very reasonable. I love the little brownies that are always available. I’ve also bought the best chocolate cake ever. I only wish they were open a little bit later in the afternoon.

Me likes this place! One of the bright spots about returning to the scene of the crime (Jefferson City), is BK Bakery. YUMMY! You gotta get there early cuz just like life, the good stuff goes fast.
