Ended up fixing the problem and did a great job. Would use again.

I had no idea what to expect from a painter. I’ve always just done it myself, but I recently moved into a condo with a ton of crown molding and weird little corners. I took one look and it just looked like a miserable mess that seemed with the investment.
Nick was very responsive, met me the next day with his scratch pad of paper to take notes and was able to fit me in just a few days later. My 700 sq foot condo (walls, molding, ceiling, closets, doors) was done in two days and looked amazing.
He’s great at recommending paint and gave me everything I asked, without flaw, and was incredibly efficient. I’m pretty sure I would have used twice the amount of paint and made a huge mess.
As a side note, I was also getting my floors redone, and he offered to come back in and touch up the baseboards when it was complete. I didn’t take him up on it, but I mean, what a nice guy.

Nick painted our guest bedroom in our apartment. He was easy to reach, responsive and flexible when it comes to setting up an appointment to make an assessment including evening appointments. He was then able to start the job within one week and finished in a little more than half a day. All of these without sacrificing the superb quality of his work. I would highly recommend him to others.

Nick did a great job painting our apartment. His schedule was very flexible and his price is totally reasonable. He and his crew worked efficiently — the apartment was finished in one day. Would definitely recommend him to anyone in the area looking for a painter.

Nick and his assistants did a beautiful job painting my new 1-​bedroom apartment. When my boyfriend and I began moving in, we found that the walls were a complete mess — cracks in the paint that were previously covered by furniture, huge holes from wall-​hangings, etc. In just a day and a half, Nick and his team gave the walls a complete make-​over. Plus, Nick came back to fix a crack that we discovered a few days later.
And in addition to providing great painting service, Nick gave us some tasty raw fish as a lovely house-​warming gift!

Nick did an excellent job painting our apartment. He gave us a very reasonable quote and was able to start painting just a few days later — which was exactly when we asked him to start. He painted 3 rooms and the hallways of our two bedroom apartment and it looks wonderful. Nick was extremely nice and a pleasure to work with. I was very pleased and highly recommend him.

Nick was flexible with our schedule and quick getting the job done! His prices are great! And he even came back for touch-​ups after our floor guys messed up the baseboards. We were happy with the job done and would recommend him to others.

I hired Nick to paint my 700 SF apartment. He and his wife painted my bedroom, living room, kitchen, and ceilings over the course of 2 days. He also filled in two holes the previous tenants left from mounting their TV in the living room. Now looking at it you would never be able to tell that there were once holes in the wall. Nick and his wife did a great job and are both very hard workers!

Nick was great, he was able to come and paint my new apartment without much notice. He did a great job, was very fast, and the place looked fabulous after. Recommended for all jobs big and small.

Nick really did a fantastic job. He was super nice to deal with, answered all our questions, and was able to complete a 2 BR/​2 BR apartment (no furniture, this was before our move) in 2 days time.
He had a 3 person crew, and when we saw the job after it was completed, he did a flawless job — every nail/​screw that was previously in the wall was taken out, everything was cleaned up.
In regards to price, he was far and away the best deal we found when shopping around. If you’re looking for a painter, I wouldn’t even bother looking elsewhere, give Nick a call right away!

Nick was so proud of the job he did in our place he took pictures to share with people. This was the first time we’ve painted and had our own place, and though we chose our colors and had a plan, when Nick came he explained how he’d modify it to make it better and he was right. After the movers damaged a wall slightly, he came back to fix it for us for free at a convenient time. If you’re looking for an affordable painter who will put the right time and energy in, you’ve found it. Though others are good, they might upsell you or overquote. Nick was completely fair, and inspected the place first before giving a final quote. He was really sweet and nice. As english isn’t his native language, you should be clear from the start what you want.

If you feel like reading — I highly recommend Nick and his helpers! Hubby and I recently moved into our first home and we hired Nick to come and paint the entire 2 bedroom 2 bath. He came over one night and took just under 5 minutes to assess how much everything would cost. Since we were moving 3 days later, we selfishly wanted everything painted prior to that. As we were painting every single wall and every single door, this had to take more than just one day. Even so, Nick was able to squeeze us in the very next day and get started! We were so relieved to say the least. Over the next week, we worked out a schedule and he is so flexible as he had his helper (Stephan) come and do most of the work when Nick was otherwise engaged. On the very last day, Nick had brush in one hand, and me pointing out minor places that needed touch up. The end result is amazing. I can’t wait to show off my new place to friends and family, and I’m sure they will love the paint job as much as I do. Nick and Stephan are so friendly, and I will definitely hire them again.

Nick did a great job; I highly recommend him. I needed to paint my apartment to ready it for a new tenant. Nick came to the residence and did a cost assessment which I greatly appreciated. We communicated details over e-​mail which I liked as well. On the day of the paint job, he and his assistant worked extremely quickly and efficiently. They also covered up any holes that needed patching before the paint job. I will definitely use Nick again; his costs were fair, he is very nice and a patient person that will answer your many questions if you have them, and he did an excellent job that was quickly turned around.

I had Nick paint a room and hallway. Perhaps results would have been different if he did it himself but he had his assistant do all of it. His assistant «missed» spots that were not hard to reach (completely didn’t paint behind the radiator which is easily reachable!) and did a horrible job with corners — painted them with another color and not my color (not all whites are the same!). Also, I don’t even think they used primer so I had to pay for 2 buckets of paint when a cheaper primer and one bucket would have done the job.
Also, I don’t know if it’s because Nick’s gotten so busy but he totally didn’t show up one of the mornings to finish up all of these spots he missed. Now, my movers have moved all the stuff into the room and I need to rearrange everything so he can reach these spots.
I was hoping these rave reviews would mean Nick would be my painter for life but sadly I need to look for someone else.
***UPDATE****
I received a phone call and very polite formal letter from Nick’s son apologizing for the work, as well as a refund for one of the buckets of paint. This goes a long way in my book in terms of good customer service! This shows me that they care about their customers and are good, decent people. I’ve updated my review to 3 stars because of this and hoping that this was just a bad day for Nick.

Nick came and painted my apartment with his assistant. He worked really fast and did a great job. My entire 2 BR 2 BA apartment was painted in one day. The quality of the work was great and the price could not be beat. My only complaint was that there were some old nail holes that I thought should have been speckled and sanded. While we didn’t discuss this before he started, I thought this was pretty standard.

I called Nick the day before I was moving since I got stood up by the previous guy. I needed him to install storage cabinets above my washer and dryer (now storage room too). Really nice old school Russian guy precise and friendly. While he was here I had him put a bead of chalking in my bathrooms — HIghly recommend him and I going to be using him to do other misc stuff — Thank You Nick!
