History

Established in 2014.

Numerous research has proven the effects of breath on reducing the physical effects of stress on the body. The body’s response to stressful environment can be harmful especially if it is prolonged. We at Alkaline Physical Therapy & Hot Yoga believe in mindful physical and nutritional practice. We emphasize proper alignment to create fluid movement, mindful eating, and cultivating awareness of your mind to have peace and be present.

We emphasize breath with movement, training your mind to establish overall balance.

Meet the Business Owner

Connie J.

Business Owner

Connie Jeon, is a graduate of Loma Linda University, and California State University, Long Beach. She holds a Doctoral Degree of Physical Therapy, a Masters Degree in Nutrition, and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology.

Professionally, she is a Polestar™ trained Pilates Instructor, a Registered/​Licensed Dietitian certified in Adult Weight Management through the American Dietetic Association, is a Certified Health/​Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine, and is trained in Yoga Therapy through Yoga Fit™ .

She is certified as a AFMCP, (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice), She is certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine. She also has extensive post doctoral training in electrodianostic medicine, women’s health, various manual therapy including muscle energy, trigger point dry needling, visceral mobilization, neurac, manual medicine, acupuncture, eastern medicine, macrobiotics and psychology.
