SCAMSHOP. Worst place ever!!! They use faulty parts then charge you to come back and have it fixed. Owner is ignorant and not helpful. We had gone there for years, spent over 10,000.00. The old manger was AMAZING and would help you with anything he could. Owner need to learn customer service. 12 year customer GONE!!! Garbage parts!!! Garbage customer service. WILLNEVERBEBACK! SCAMMERSSCAMMERSSCAMMERS!!! Wish I could give negative stars. Does not honor COUPONSFORWARRANTYWORK. DONOTUSETHISPLACE. OWNER has no idea of customer service. SCAMMERS

I have been bringing my cars here for oil changes for about 10 years and have never had any problems. They have always been polite and if there have been other things wrong with the car, they have pointed them out but there has never been pressure to get them done with them. They did go above and beyond one time when my alternater was going out and my car would randomly die by picking up my car so I didn’t have to risk driving it there with my baby in the car(I live about three blocks from there but it was still super nice of them).

I have two cars and just moved in this area. I was looking for a place where I could take both cars for regular maintenance, oil changes, repairs etc. On my first attempt to give this shop my business, gentleman at the counter tried the old fashioned nickling and diming routine of why people are wary of car shops. My oil change with synthetic oil was 59.99 which I was happily going to pay. I asked him if he could screw on my new license plates on the car and he replied, «Let me see how much that’s going to cost.» I walked right out. This how a business owner steps over dollars, just to pick pennies. This shop lost a potential repeat customer with two used cars. Too bad too sad.

While I’ve seen Merlin auto service shops over the years, I have never used one. However, after 20 years of loyalty to my car dealership(always, always having my maintenance done there), the latest service department staff seem to be compensated on their up-selling, rather than just taking care of me. For example, they told me my front brake pads had worn past nothing and I needed new rotors. That sounded like nonsense because the car didn’t feel/sound that bad. A trusted friend recommended this particular Merlin shop, and I have to agree that Bob(owner), Mark(front desk/quotes) and the rest of the staff warrant a serious look. Very pleasant on the phone, very conversational, very competent. Bob backed up what he said by showing the evidence with the car on the lift. Mark seems genuinely interested in earning customer loyalty, using the Merlin paperwork tools to connect and engage. If you’re interested in finding auto service pros that just aren’t anonymous mechanics in the pit, then try these guys out. They’re going to get my maintenance money from now on.
