The best on the island and not even the most expensive. One person call first to make an appt. She did a great job! Wonderful. I am done looking for a nail salon. Upper West Side Nails rocks.

Cherise is amazing! She did my nails for my wedding and they were perfect! My only concern is finding someone in North Carolina that can do the same work! Her salon was comfortable and I enjoyed good conversation while I was there. I made a friend!

Very nice place! The girl who owns the place made me shellac manicure just perfect, was very friendly and did her job very accurate.

Cherise did a fantastic job on mani/pedi’s for me and my sister the day before my wedding. Cherise was great to chat with, and it was calming and soothing in the salon, exactly what we needed during this hectic time. She even used home-​made scrubs and ointments from essential oils! I found Cherise accidentally when I had an appointment with another manicurist who did not show up. Cherise was quick to apologize (even tho she did not have to) and offer to do my pedicure. I have been a regular customer ever since and could not be happier. My appointments every other week are the highlight of the month. Cherise is the best and her new helper Whitney is also very sweet and talented. Her shop is well worth making the appointment and getting a great mani/​pedi.

I greeted you when you walked in the door I was working on a customer and you suggested that I stop my customers service so that I could tend to you and your broken nail, well my customer is paying me for a Service whether or not you were going to pay me is beside the point I’m not going to stop working on a client in the middle of a service to take care of somebody who walks in and need’s nail repair I would have been able to do it after I was done with my client you stated you were in a rush that you needed to go to the airport I would never take away from a service that I’m doing on a client to help somebody that I had no commitment to. I would have been more than happy to help you with your broken nail but the attitude that you were giving me and the rudeness that you showed towards my business and my client were unacceptable and I would never make a client move aside so that I can help somebody else during a service. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want somebody to do that to you so I definitely wouldn’t do that to my client. I give my client’s complete and total respect and care and attention I would have been able to give you that same care and attention had you had more time for me to do your nails after I was done with my client in the hour and a half that I had stated originally but leaving a bad review for somebody when you came in in a rush with a very bad attitude is not fair and you shouldn’t push blame on other people when the common denominator in the situation was yourself.

I was referred to this place by a super nice woman at the Marriott who wasn’t able to fix the tear in my gel nail (because they only have regular polish). When I walked in to this place, there was one employee there with a customer and she looked annoyed and didn’t offer a greeting. Seeing she was busy I quickly explained that I just needed a quick coat and fifteen seconds under the gel light to temporarily seal the tear so it wouldn’t get worse– not a new nail. She said she had no time the entire day to help and was overly rude when she said «I am not going to interrupt my customers to help you.» Not even for something that could have taken less than one minute to fix that I offered to pay for.

My nails were pretty good. Went her because my normal girl Ashley was booked before my vacation. I got a gel pedi and gel mani. I asked for a hibiscus flower on my toes and it turns out great, but she didn’t want to spend that much time so she just did a small regular flower on my finger. Gel usually lasts about 3 weeks on my hands and I don’t try and be careful. 2 nails started to crack on the sides on my vacation so I had to have my nails redone because they didn’t have the same colors. Also 2 separate salons had a very hard time getting this polish off. On my fingers the mainland salon used the electric sander and took too much of my real nail off and when I returned my toes took over 25 minutes to remove the gel polish.

Very experienced nail technician owned business. Cherish fit my daughter and I in on a busy day.

I had THE BEST experience getting a pedicure from Cherise yesterday! I had no idea that I had two cracked nails lurking under my gel polish. This might have been a painful afternoon, but luckily I was sitting with the most caring and professional nail stylist on the planet! Cherise spent extra time repairing my big toenails so that I can continue to do all the active things I do everyday. My feet take a beating and she made them feel wonderful. I can not say enough good things about her! She even made some recommendations for me on how to improve my nails long term, moisturizing! No one had ever taken the time to tell me this! I am looking forward to my next visit, and may have to come to the Big Island every month just for her services! Mahalo Nui Cherise, keep up the great work!

Excellent nail salon! Don’t go anywhere else in the Kailua-​Kona area. Cherise not only does a fantastic manicure and pedicure, she is truly dedicated to doing the best job possible. In fact, people go to her to repair the bad jobs done at other salons. In my case, she could have done a simple repair but she knew that neither she nor I would have been happy with that so she took the time to completely redo the bad work. The result was perfect. Also, she’s a great nail artist and has loads of ideas.

I cannot be thankful enough for Cherise and her nail salon. This hardworking, detail-​oriented and friendly nail technician is the only person I will allow to touch my nails ever again.
I’ve been to many nail places in the Kailua-​Kona area per recommendations from clients and friends but none have satisfied like this salon does.
I’ve known this woman for only a short amount of time and she fixed all my nail mishaps from other salons. (I used to have severely shaven down nails (to the point where it would be red) and amateur nail work).
Whenever I have a nail emergency or just need to get my nails done, she responds very quickly and takes me in as soon as there is an appointment available (within a day or two).
It is located in the King Kamehameha shopping mall which is between American Savings Bank and Honda dealership. Her shop is located near ginger and koi boutique so for a closer parking, park in the «more customer parking» area in the back. Although it’s a little shopping mall with restaurants and such, please look for her. It’ll definitely be worth it.

Hidden gem of a salon in Kona town area — its a very relaxing place and easy to get to. Cherise does a wonderful job and I love her artistic touches when I feel like being a little more sassy. On top of it all, Cherise has some great tips on keeping your nails healthy.

Very nice nail spa. We called and made appointments with no trouble. Cherise was great… she took her time and made sure that our nails were perfect. The shop was clean and modern, and her prices are super reasonable.

What a wonderful place! Cherise is an amazing technician. She is friendly, personable, and helpful. My wife and I are staying right next door at the Courtyard King Kamehameha Hotel, and she gave us amazing tourist travel tips. Her salon is clean and modern, and she really takes her time and does an immaculate job. She was able to fix one of my wife’s toenails that not one technician has been able to fix for YEARS. Highly recommend!
