Started in 2007 Island Massage Kailua is located in the heart of Kailua. We are newly located in an integrative health center with a chiropractor, acupuncturist and family medicine physician for an all in one health approach.

Business Owner

Brian is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Hawaii. He attended the Denver School of Massage Therapy and graduated top in his class. Brian was mentored by a doctor, therefore has a great understanding of anatomy and medical/physical conditions. His therapeutic technique draws from various modalities that is customized per client. Modalities used include Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Russian Sports, Acupressure, Shiatsu, Cranial Sacral, Reflexology, Swedish, and more. Brian is one of the highest ranked and rated therapists in the state.

Wonderful massage. Got right to the pressure points and Brian did an excellent job releasing all that muscle tension I’ve had due to lots of golfing. He focused on where I told him to focus on. His pressure is strong and right to the point. Lots of other massages will just use the oil and rub their hands on your body. Brian actually uses different techniques to relieve the muscle tension.
I highly recommend his service. There are plenty of paid street parking. I was lost at first and had to call him to figure out which room he was in. There were no forms to fill out like most places. His online booking system is very easy and convenient. You get an email reminder as well as a text reminder. I had to change my time and was able to do so with ease.
For $ 65 for 60 minutes and a great massage, it’s worth it. Room was dimmed nicely and felt comfortable in there.

I have never gone to a massage therapist before. I don’t really like people touching me but after hurting my back on a weekend I was unable to stand up straight and I was unable to get in to see my doctor or a chiropractor until the following week so I figured give these guys a try. There were no female therapists available and I almost didn’t go because I didn’t want a male therapist. I was in too much pain to care. I saw Brian. I felt comfortable with him right away. It wasn’t weird like I thought it was going to be. He was really knowledgable and I was amazed at the result. The pain was totally gone when I got up off the table. I can’t believe I never tried it before and I will definitely be back.

My wife had the opportunity to get a massage from Brian and was very pleased with the whole experience. She liked the atmosphere, as well as the massage. While I was not in the room, I was waiting out front to drive her home and she just kept mentioning how relaxed she was feeling. If you are feeling stressed and look I g for a great destressing massage in Kailua, you should give Brian a call.

Unfortunately this was not a good experience. My husband booked Brian as a surprise for my birthday. I drove over super excited (as I always am for a massage). I arrived at 4:20pm. (appt scheduled for 4:30). Two others were there and Brian was not. He text messaged my husband stating he’d be a few minutes late. Brian was 20 minutes late! There is no heater in the bed! There is no dimmer and he had TWO lights on the WHOLE time. I had to ask him to turn off one of the lights. The massage wasn’t very good either unfortunately. There were many times that he used just one hand and I was wondering if he was trying to text the next client or what but that was very very weird. The whole experience was the MOST uncomfortable I have ever had. I definitely do not recommend Brian.
–On the upside he did do a full hour and deducted 50%.

Island massage is the perfect place to get away and relax without having to leave the island. Brian is one of the nicest people youve ever met and he has magical hands that have worked the stress out of all my muscles (and believe me I have an abominably high level of stress). I love visiting the windward side and grabbing lunch afterwards.
Island massage is well worth the drive!
